This is a follow up.
My Ch.7 was discharged 7/2009 and everything has been great since.
Recently I got a call from a collections agency called ER Solutions. Apparently they were trying to collect a debt for eBay. They claimed that I owed eBay $950+ and now with interest it was $1150+ and they wanted me to settle for $750 even. To make a long story short of my argument with them, I told them I had closed and zeroed my eBay, PayPal and bank accounts I was using for that business. They told me that eBay had reversed the last payment of $950+ back to PayPal in 2006 a few weeks after I closed the accounts. (*side note: eBay purchased PayPal back in 2002 so by 2006 they were already one company. So they pretty much took the $950 out of their left pocket and put it in their right pocket and were asking me for another $950 to put into their left pocket again. Shady business practice.)
The next morning, I called Mr. Joe Tosti and he personally called me back. He informed me that since I filed for Ch.7, all prior debts and collections, reported or not, are all discharged and cannot be collected. He told me to get their names, address, account numbers in question and fax number and he would handle them for me and write a letter to them to have them stop harassing me.
In the end, everything was handled. Mr. Joe Tosti is a great professional and a great friend. For as long as his office is open, they will be the first office I call if I ever need any advice or help with fiscal matters.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Joe and his team are incredible! They under promised and over delivered - BIG TIME! I received my Chapter 7 discharge a few weeks ago and it feels great! I can finally start thinking about the future instead of worrying about my past. Their fees are too low to mention and Joe's team held my hand every step of the way. If you find yourself considering Bankruptcy - you would be a fool not to call Joe Tosti. Period.

From start to finish, Mr. Tosti did a fantastic job of preparing me for my Ch 7 case. His representative arrived in court early was very efficient in presenting my case. No surprises and the results were exactly what they promised. The best in the business.

Mr. Tosti is amazing. He handled our case 3+ years ago and made it simple and understandable. Something came up this year and I needed advice, he personally called me back to give me the info I needed. I would recommend him to ANYONE!

I didn't use his lawyer service so bear that in mind as I give this review. I saw the five star rating here on Yelp and since he was the only one rated, I entered my information into his website. The dude personally called me back which I was impressed with but that is where it ends.
I sat in his office forever even though I had an appointment. He walks into the office late and doesn't even say hi to me! I was sitting there waiting. I didn't even know who he was or if he really was the lawyer. Then when I did get the chance to speak to him, he was very rude to me. Saying I needed to file right away. Didn't want to discuss other options I may have had or ask questions about my situation. It was more like "give me money". I didn't care for his attitude. It is hard enough to have to go through bankruptcy but I don't want to go through it with a mean uncaring attorney. He may be good as the other yelper pointed out but I'd rather look elsewhere...
The price he quoted me was high. At the time I didn't know because he was the first person I spoke with but as I've begun to talk to other people, I realized that he was 25% more than other folks... -

i am agree with all the reviews that is posted, we opened our chapter 7 bankruptcy case on jun 2010, the court was on August , the case was so prepared and we were discharge , last month we received the final closing case :) i really appreciate Mr Tosti , i was fortune to found Mr Tosti and his team, i had Chapter 7 and with all very hard situation that i had , my case was processed very professionally and friendly, Specially, Mrs Eileen Esqueda , she was angel for me , the amount of her caring and helping with her knowledge and hard working is very much appropriated. she always was there for our question and helping us in many ways, Thank you Mr Tosti and Thousand Thanks to Very Dear Mrs Eilleen Esqueda, Good Bless you !
