We worked with Jon on the purchase of our first home earlier this Spring. Jon was a pleasure to work with, he walked us through all we needed to know about mortages, carefully explaining the details. Jon is the man. He helped me compare quotes from 3 other lenders to his. It was a lot of information for me to take in as a first time buyer but he explained everything in a way I could understand. I went with Jon because he gave me a great deal and I felt he was someone I could trust. He even went the extra mile and sat with me during my signing for the house in case any questions came up along the way. I would highly recommend his services.

I understand that purchases have important time-lines and I get the job done. I enjoy sitting with potential buyers and helping them understand their budget and how a mortgage will affect their household finances. Every buyer's goals are different, that's why it's important to have someone that will listen and help you understand your options.
Refinances
When you call me to refinance your current mortgage, I feel that it's my responsibility to help you understand your current situation first and foremost. Most of the time, a refinance is inline with the goals of the potential borrower but sometimes it isn't. You work hard for your money. It's imperative that you have a trusted adviser help you understand the potential costs and savings before refinancing your mortgage. That's what I do.

I've been in mortgages for nearly five years. I began at Mortgage Broker Associates in Lynnwood, WA. That company abruptly closed in August, 2008.
After searching high and low for a company that matches my values and fits my personality, I found Alpine Mortgage. I couldn't be happier at Alpine. It has a great family feel and provides me with all of the support that I could ask for so that I can supply my clients with the highest possible standard of service. Alpine Mortgage is nownThe Legacy Group. It's the same excellent people and company ethos, now with a different name.

I am a first generation college graduate and proudly attended the University of Washington in Seattle where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Physics with a Math minor. I found myself interested in mortgage financing after purchasing my first home. I am a naturally curious person and asked my mortgage broker many questions. It took a while to sink in, but I was interested in the way the mortgage world functions. I have educated myself through attending classes, seminars, reading and mostly with experience. My philosophy is that mortgages should be considered not just as a big loan on your house, but as an important piece of your greater financial picture. Education is key.
In addition to saving people money, I am also am the president of Backstage Pass, the young patron's group for Pacific Northwest Ballet. I have an active lifestyle and am obsessed with skiing and swimming and have been racing in many local triathlons.
