My grandparents used to drop us off here for the day when they needed a break from our summer-long stay when I was a kid. And it was great.

The spinning swing ride is the best, most popular one. The swings have a surprisingly wide, high arc.

They have your usual matterhorn-type rides, teacup rides, slides, all that stuff. But the most important thing is they have wrist bracelets and you can ride unlimited all day and make yourself absolutely sick and dizzy and then eat food and throw up in a garbage can. And, really, what makes a better experience when you're a kid?

My rating of two is for the overall park condition. It is showing signs of needing major minor repairs. Years ago this was a 5 star location for familys. The water park has gotten bigger and even the older teenagers love it. The mini golf sucks. Most of the tee off pads are broken. They didn't even clean the leaves off. The walkways were overgrown and in some cases dangerous. Major rust everywhere. It looks like this owner is just milking the place. Needs to take some profit and spruce the place up.

This is a good place for the wee-ones.  You'll find all kinds of small amusement rides, great mini-golf themes and games to keep them from screaming for hours.  Also a good point for over-maxed wallets is that the prices were reasonable.  I liked this mini-golf place better than the one at Baja Amusements for a few of reasons.

It wasn't that the landscaping was nicer looking, but there were no pesky pebbles!  It may have to do with the fact that I was only trailing here by 3 strokes instead of 4 at Baja, but I don't think so.  It could also be that I didn't have a chance to use their restroom and to be disgusted by it as I was a Baja's.  Overall, I think I just  felt like this course was more fun.  Sure the Safari Golf theme was cheezy with its paper mache apes and tigers, but I enjoyed looking at it all.  They had another Jungle Golf or something on the other side of the park, but I was all stroked out by the time we finished and snagged some chocolate Dippin' Dots and lemonade.

If you're looking to do a mini-golf tour, might I also recommend a place that I saw just down the road closer to 23rd street?  Of course I can't be helpful with the name, but you'll see it before you pull up to Jolly Roger's on the right.  We didn't go  there because it was stuffed to the brim with min-van passengers, but the course looked very nice and well-decorated.  If you happen to be further up past the Boardwalk, there are a few more good places around the 130 block with other very cool themes.  Anyway, this is just another pleasant mini-golf place that you might enjoy if you're a big kid, or if you have kids.
