These burgers are huge like the ones from Rick's, if not huger.  The prices are decent, as long as you're not bein' a cheap ass. They do accept cards and don't stick a surcharge onto your total.  Their window specials are pretty good. I had a hearty meal there before going to work one morning, with Walter, of course. (He's my YELP eating partner in crime.) You should try it. We'll have to take pictures the next time that we are there. But, for a burger place even, their pancakes are good too. The eggs aren't runny and their toast is just right. Sausage is served in link style and are pretty darn tasty too. awesome. face it, we just love to eat.

Stop being cheap people!! You get what you pay for. Yes, a bit pricey for fast food. But it's really good...so what gives? ANYWAY, anything that has chilli in it is superb ;)

A very tasty place that not many know about except the student body of Cantwell.

The place makes a variety of food from burgers to Mexican breakfast and even some dinner plates.  It has the feel of an old school diner mixed with a little bit of the East Los Angeles Culture.  The thing many might not like about this place is the fact that the parking lot is in the back, and doesn't have clear view of your ride.  So for those that are afraid of leaving sight of your car in East LA, don't come here, but then again this place is frequented by the LAPD for a late dinner.

The best combination of food to order is the Avocado Cheeseburger with bacon and a side order of chili fries.  Though make sure you are very hungry when attempting this feat!

If you want to be full of tasty food then go to John's burgers.  Here the portions are large and the food is full of flavor.  For instance just try and finish the carne asada super nachos by yourself, it could be eaten by two hungry men, but most likely you will need three unless you want a severe food coma after lunch or dinner.  Besides having good burgers, John's makes delicious burritos, tacos, salads, gyros, and they even have breakfast.  You can order a breakfast burrito that has sausage, ham, and bacon (again you may want to split this).  I'm not a morning person so I don't make it for breakfast all that often but from what I know the breakfasts are tasty and very filling too.

If you know me then you know that a restaurant that serves mexican food will be strictly judged by their salsa and John's burgers passes that test with flying colors.  The salsa is fantastic and very fresh.

I also reccommend the chili burger, the chili dog, and/or the chili cheese fries.  All three of these items are great.  Another item that is essential for a good meal is the fried zucchini.  Just be careful because they are very very hot when you get them.  Be sure to get a side of ranch to dip them in.

I wish I lived closer to John's so that I could try more menu items because everytime I get the chance to go I am craving my favorite items such as the chicken pita.  Onions, tomoatoes, and warm tender chicken pieces all on a soft pita with a side of cucumber sauce to slather all over the tasty goodnes inside of your pita. MMMMMM!

So stop reading this and go to John's.  Go now.
