Good food, good prices. In a old Taco Bell which is kind of funny especially if you ate there when it was Taco Bell.

Love the portions. If you crave some serious Greek music videos than this is your place. Not the most authentic but still very good.

Would give it a 4 star but the staff needs a little work, nothing bad they just aren't  on the ball. Get yourself in there for some Dolmades and Moussaka.

I am a Greek American and have lived in Athens Greece for years. So I can give an objective review of this place.  This has to be one of the best Greek places in WA state!  The Gyros are the best and every dish is amazing.  Prices are very good and the place is run and owned by a Greek person which helps!  I highly recommend this place if you want to try Greek food!

As was stated by others the place is a little small, but unless you come at lunch rush hour you should not have to wait to be seated.  The place is nicely decorated and has a nice Greek festive tone.  They have Greek videos and even Greek music playing for your enjoyment!

Everything I've heard about Tacoma makes it sound like the biggest shithole on the west coast (aside from Aberdeen, that is).

So how come there's this delicious little Greek place hidden in it?

The food was surprisingly good, and the staff was very receptive to my food allergy requests.  They modified their veggie pita to be served on rice, without adding cornstarch or any other potentially suspect glutenous substance.  My meal also included a TON of feta cheese and yogurt sauce, which improved what really didn't need improvement in the first place.

The restraunt is in an old taco bell, so they have a small seating area.  But they do utilize the drive through so you don't have to wait inside for take out.

I have eaten here a few times, most of the time the food was good, sometimes very good, sometimes really bad,it depends on the cook.

I do not recommend using the drive through as you don't know what you wil get, and the food is generally worse, sometimes much worse.  The last time I ordered takeout, the gyro meat was so overcooked it was like shoe leather and completely black (and I mean black) on one side.  They turned all the black sides down to hide them.  So, if you order take out, open everything and check it before you leave the retraurant so you don't have to make a return trip

Now the food can be good, but the consistency of quality is so poor I can't reccomend them.

Not the greatest greek food I have had... Mediocre. I had the gyro, which was too tough for my liking. Avgolemeno soup was alright. I also tried the rice and green beans as alternatives to fries.  I think for the price the food should be better. Perhaps I am spoiled by all the great greek places in Seattle?  I am not crazy about the order at the counter type service either.  Around $10 for a gyro combo you should get table service.  I did like the travel shows they played on the flat screens though... And the people working there was friendly.  But the mediocre food and high prices are a turn off.

I'm giving this four stars but with reservations - would rather just give it three and a half.  We just moved to UP and was looking for some place to eat.  Stumbled on Johnnies which looks like it used to be a Taco Bell.  It's a cafeteria where you order at a window and then they bring your food to the table.  Nothing wrong with that.  Unfortunately while the food was plentiful, it wasn't the best Greek food I've ever had.  On the plus side, it's close by and the folks that work there are very nice.  We'll go back but when we truely want Greek food will go to Seattle.
