I consider myself very lucky to have found Joey Bennett's Chinese medicine practice. Over the years she has treated me and my husband and has always comes through. She has a very gentile but direct manner and is both very experienced and I get the feeling very intuitive. Every time I have Joey treat me I leave wishing I had made the appointment earlier. I wish there was an extra star here to add on. She's a great herbalist. I can actually take them without feeling like I'm choking it down. I've used her postpartum and prenatal services and feel that there is no doubt she has helped immensely!

Joey is an amazing woman. She's not the first nor only acupuncturist/herbalist I've gone to, but she is without question the best. Yes, her bedside manner is amazing - and her skill with needles is tremendous. If you have a phobia she can still take care of you, she's so smooth and gentle you'll hardly know there are needles in the room, much less in you. Everyone I've recommended her to has given me rave reviews, several of whom were quite nervous trying alternative medicine - until they met and worked with Joey.
She's treated me for several things - stress, a weird eye twitch, digestion issues, bronchitis; and she dramatically helped speed the healing process for both a dislocated rib, and a dislocated shoulder - yeah - my body needs an outside party to keep it together. I have never felt in better hands than when I'm in Joey's office. -

Joey is truly a gifted healer. She is extremely knowledgeable, intuitive, and very down to earth. She has the easy, calming presence you want in an acupuncturist. I have been seeing her for many years, through all kinds of health issues, back pain, and a pregnancy, which she helped me with tremendously. I always leave feeling better, assured, and advised as to what i can do to continue to help myself. I am so grateful to her, and call on her often.
Joey can help you with whatever ails you, physically, emotionally, what have you.
My whole family sees her and we all recommend her highly. -

After six months of trying to conceive, I started seeing Joey. It was the first time I tried acupuncture and I have to admit that I a little nervous when it comes to needles. Joey was very gentle and it was a really pleasant experience. After a just a few visits, I became pregnant.
I highly recommend her for anyone that is looking for some help with fertility. -

Joey really is a miracle worker. Two years back, I injured my knee doing yoga (laugh, get it out of your system). I didn't know how bad it was and continued to work (standing 8 hours) and dance (belly dancing). Well about a month passed and it got worse. WAY worse. I could barely walk down the street. I really have a phobia to Western medicine, and really what could a doctor do but give me some anti-inflammatory drugs? I set up an appointment with Joey and within a few days I was in to see her. She took one look at my knee, pinpointed 10 or so micro tears that had healed up but wrong and put me on the table with needles with some current. 30 minutes later, I felt 80 percent better. I could walk without cringing. 3 more sessions and I was back to riding my bike to work and dancing (albeit very carefully). She was my life saver literally. I continue to see her just to maintain my health and balance at least twice a year. Her rates are reasonable, her bed side manner fabulous, and she is conveniently located near my house now so I can roll out of bed and down the hill to see her. If I could give her six stars I would.

For someone like myself who bristles to anything too woo-woo and refuses to drink tea made of twigs that smells like bong-water- Joey is dreamy. Joey got me pregnant. After months of trying, Joey was able to treat my full, neurotic self with incredible compassion, skill, intuition and humor. I would have sought out acupuncture years ago had I known my practitioner would be a coffee drinking, pierced & tattooed, down-to-earth empath. I loved and trusted her so much, she even got me to drink the tea- and it totally worked.

Joey is wonderful. I wish I could go to her for everything. She treated me for fertility issues initially and I ended up being able to get pregnant very quickly after I started seeing her, which was awesome. Then she helped me through my early pregnancy and later again after my son was born. It's always relaxing to go to Joey, she's very caring and smart and compassionate. She also seems like she really knows her stuff and is a confident and talented person all round, not just with acupuncture, but also with healing and living happily in general.

I've been meaning to write this review for the past month -- but it is precisely because of Joey that I have been too busy to do so! I am a new mother to a one-month old baby girl and went to see Joey at 41 weeks to help get labor going. It worked! Not only was this my first exposure to acupuncture, I was also quite nervous about the prospect of having to be induced at the hospital; Joey's bed-side manner was the perfect mix of professionalism and empathy to reassure me and put me at ease. She was very clear about what she was doing and why, but also took time to get to know me beyond the reason I was there. I would recommend her to anyone -- and not just for help with labor induction. In fact, I'm pretty darn healthy but am trying to come up with other reasons to see her just because being treated by her was such a wonderful experience!
