Say no to Joe's.
Ate here on a relatively quiet night. The food was mediocre and not entirely correctly described on the menu. The reuben sandwich does not come with a dill pickle spear as described. It comes with a few pickle chips. The service was non-existent. We waited and waited for our food, for refills, for the check. Because we were a large group, the waitress helped herself to an 18% gratuity.
This was my first, last, and only time I will ever eat here.
I ordered a "Smothered and Covered" Chicken with a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Then the waitress brought me a Smothered and Covered" steak of some kind. I was busy playing Scrabble on my iPhone and didn't even notice the mistake until she came back and took my plate (I had been munching on the exquisite sweet potato fries). The chicken was average with average sauteed (sweated) onions and cheddar topped -- neither Smothered" nor "Covered". But those sweet potato fries were awesome!
I go ever so often for lunch. The food taste/quality is good to okay. The tilapia or a steak usually is a decent dish. I really like the sweet potatoes fries. I think I go mostly to eat them. I have never been anywhere else that serves them.
