i gathered up all my 14k gold in my jewelry box, which were teeny tiny single earrings that i hadn't worn forever because i was missing its pair, or it was just ugly. came in here today- pressed the buzzer to enter, and i walked in with all the knick knack jewerly to this guy called joe. i told him how much he can sell them for, and it turned out to be exactly one ounce, so he gave me $18.
if these weird jewerly that i didn't need for so long came out THAT much, wow, i would wonder how much a gold chain would cost!! it was worth it for sure. now i can buy gold jewerly that i would actually want! -

Jonathan and Joe were really helpful in getting me a great value for some items I sold. Jonathan very kindly and honestly answered a bunch of my questions and even Joe came by for the final transaction. The Starbucks card as a thank you was a nice touch. Just make sure you go to SOUTH Robertson-- Google maps is wrong. I wish they had longer hours, and maybe I could've gotten a bit more $$$, but still it was a quick and painless experience all around.

My experience at Joes was not as stellar as the other reviews.This gentleman went out of his way to "appear" honest. With lines like call me if you can find a better price etc. First off I did my research and knew the price of gold/gram before I went so I could calculate the margin of what they were making. I was offered 50% of the scrap gold price which was unbelievable. The other places I went were taking between 30%-18%. Obviously I went with the smallest margin and ended up getting paid almost double what I was offered Joes.

People bring in their gold, and we pay them cash; they don't have to do the donating. By simply bringing in their gold, they make a donation, as we give a percentage of our total purchase to the organization.
Joe's is also involved with Operation Gratitude, and is a continuous supporter of our troops. We donate a percentage of our proceeds in the same way as we do schools. At these events, customers also have the option to make a small contribution of their own with the new cash they got for their gold.
