This is a hidden gem is West Deptford. If you are looking for great Italian and Spanish wines, go there and ask for Dino (Italian) or Andrea (Spanish). They are great to chat with and are very knowledgeable about the wines.

There are some great finds in their wine cellar/fridge as soon as you enter the store.

If you enjoy beer there is a beer tasting station which is really cool as well.

Always helpful and the staff go overboard to help you. Price and selection are the best.

This is just my favorite liquor store. This specific Joe Canal's. I live nowhere near it and yet I keep finding myself at this location. I think I mostly just love that I can stand in front of the make-your-own six pack section for an absurdly long amount of time while I try to decide which beers to purchase and no one will act like I'm a nut-job.

In the end, I almost always walk out with 12 beers instead of six. Because choosing is impossible -- and they have such a great selection! And it's 10% off when you purchase mixed six packs.

The people who work here have always been super nice too.

As others have said, the parking lot is horrendous. The spots are tiny and since it's right next to the busy Shop-Rite and other stores, it's always packed with people. Yesterday, after sitting in my spot with my reverse lights on for way, way too long, I decided to let myself out. It's *that* type of lot. But, oh well, this store is worth it.

Also, I realize the things I stated above happen at other stores too, but I'm partial to this one.

So I stopped here in south jersey for a bottle of wine. Wow, what a selection! Pretty varied, from seek to $500/bottle food and old stuff! The spirits and beer selections were not as Married but still pretty extensive. Basically, not a bad place to go for wine.

My only criticism is the staffing. While some of the staff were very nice and helpful, the people manning the register were rather offputting and somewhat nasty. Basically I felt as if I was getting in the their way.

Just in case anybody was wondering, there's wine tasting here on the weekends...
It would be hard to not find what you're looking for in this huge liquor store. Although I always forget to look for a mead here, this is one of few places that carry Leblon cachaca. I always talk to workers, and even customers for new things to try. Recently a customer turned me onto a premium rum that he drank while away on vacation. It's basically a liquor superstore. Rows and rows of wine, every beer imaginable.

The day manager is rude and ignorant and has about as much customer service skills as a flea. The young man who waited on me should have been the manager.
I stopped in there on the 24th to buy a gift for Xmas.
There was a bottle of tequila on the shelf with the price below the bottle.
When I went to the register the price was almost double. The young man who rang it up said the price tag was put there by mistake. He then volunteered and said he would try to get me a discount. When the young man asked the manager if there was something he could do, the manager mumbled something about the higher price. The manager then looks up at me and yells "You know that!" First of all I know nothing about tequila nor do I drink it. I picked up that bottle because it was in my price range and it was in a box making it easy to wrap. The price difference was about $30.
Had he given me a discount he would had a loyal customer for life. What I do know now is I will never ever shop there again.

While most of these reviews are for beer and wine, I came for the American whiskey. I was not disappointed. Prices not far above SRP. Inventory included a great many makes I had spent considerable time hunting down (Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Batch Proof, Four Roses Small Batch Select, Rebel Yell 10). Picked up the Three Chord Twelve Bar Reserve. Well worth my drive from an adjacent state. What keeps this review from five stars is the website, which does not capture their inventory fully and the email address doesn't work.

Wow a growler station! Boom !! Who doesn't love this? You can fill up your growler with delicious micro- brews, newer samples they have posted on the board, basically it is a great site to see.

Plenty of beers to choose from along with the 2 isles of a wide variety of single selection micro brew you can purchase, make your own six-er to go !

Great selections of wine with facts behind them, so no need to worry if you are making the right or wrong selection. Just in case you are hesitant on a selection they do have staff members who are very qualified to help you on the right path.

Also they have a great liquor selection for you to choose, specialty liquors and with a great price to go with. Great for the holiday seasons also, pick up some great gift boxes for the ones you love.

Good customer service, bright and clean, wide isles for you to peruse with a shopping cart.

Go load up and get your load on, you'll be happy.

How have I not reviewed this beloved store yet? Shame on me. I just thought everyone already knew & loved this place as much as I do. But if not, here goes...

They are conveniently located next to a great Shoprite, which can make parking a bitch but not a deal-killer. The plus is that you can run next door for snacks to go with that awesome growler you just picked up. Love how you can sample all the beers on tap at said growler station. It can be a bit pricey, but it's a half-gallon of delicious freshly pulled craft beer to go! Then they also have this incredible selection of hard-to-find craft beers by the bottle. It may be an even better selection than the Foodery & that's saying something.

I especially love this place for their mostly thoughtful selection of wines from literally all over the world. We are both wine lovers & bargain shoppers in my house, and Joe's does just fine by us. They have the best selection of wines in the $10-$15 range in region (excepting the peerless Moore Bros). They also recently added a cheese case, which goes great with both wine and craft beer. Although we really miss their original wine buyer Tom (wish I knew where he works now), they do alright by us. They really are the best in area.

my favorite liquor store! I love the ever rotating growler options. plus you get to taste test them to see if you like it before filling up. The guys that work the beer side are so helpful and knowledgeable with the crazy craft beer selection! Have they tried them all?! they must have with all that information!!!

The wine side is chock full of yummy choices! The two main people i see there (Andrea and Dino) are oozing with wine knowledge! any questions...? ask them!

loyal customer right here! i rarely, if ever, go anywhere else.

only down side... the parking lot SUCKS! but that's not their fault.
