The employee who assisted me did a great job. She made sure I had exactly what I needed and applicable coupons.

Wow! If you are in a pinch, this is the Advance Auto location to stop at - phenomenal help!
We had a dead battery, our car insurance provider jumped the car but unfortunately they were unable to replace battery.
We drove over to Advance, they tested the battery for us (to confirm that was the issue), while the battery was not totally shot, it was 4 years old and was just not firing very well.
We opted to replace it and the two employees who helped us (KeeKee and Acquil) were terrific!
Both very friendly, helpful, professional and just all around great with customers.
Highly recommend this location - about $160 installed, new battery with a two year warranty and all set!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Aug 28, 2017
I don't usually go to places like these so when my car battery died I was unsure where to go. Fortunately this place has free battery testing and installation. I was able to go online and buy a battery and even got it for 20% off. Supposedly when you order online you can pick it up in half an hour. However some technical difficulty occurred and I ended up sitting there for awhile because my order would not show up. The assistant manager Angel was super nice and considerate. He tried his best to figure out what was going on and even talked to customer service on the phone for me. Once everything was situated he was able to install my battery. Now my car is alive and running. Definitely would come back if my car was dying again.

Might be okay for just buying a part, but don't let them touch your car!! I took my Passat in for a battery issue, since the battery was still under warranty (purchased at an Advance store in another city).
The battery was completely dead, so the lady who helped me said she needed to put it on the charge in the store for 30 minutes before she could test it. She had a hard time removing the battery but finally got it out. Then she asked if I would carry it into the store, since she had back problems. I carried it into the store, but ended up ruining my shirt and shorts with holes from battery acid.
The battery tested fine, so she had me carry it back out to the car to see what would happen. She ended up breaking the plastic molding over the cowl while trying to put the battery back in. I had to Google the instructions and tell her how to put it back in.
The part she broke is $80+ from the VW dealer. She then pleaded with me to not tell her manager because she was scared she would be fired...she offered to pay for it herself.
I have talked to the district manager and am waiting to see what they can do for me. If he can't do anything for me. They are supposed to be ordering me a new part from VW. He has been really nice throughout the process, but the personnel at this store do not appear to have been properly trained. Do NOT let them touch your car!!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
