My mother called this company based off the reviews and I was not disappointed! The plumber came out and fixed my sewer issues very quickly and was very clean in doing his work. He explained the problem which was roots in my sewer line. He even explained that we shouldn't worry yet but wait to see if the problem happens again in a few months and if not then it's very easy to clean the roots every couple of years instead of spending a lot of money to fix the sewer line.
A couple =months ago we used a different plumber and this company was 10 times better. We are planning on using them again for our plumbing needs and I can't praise them enough! Great prices and friendly plumber! Thanks a lot! -

Don't Bother with Drain-o! Faster & Cheaper than the top Yelped Plumbers!
I called 5 top Yelp rated Plumbers to get minimum rates and availability for today. They ranged from $145-105 but no one could get here faster than 3 hours. Mind you, this wasn't an emergency but when I called JK the price was $85 minimum and he was here within 30 min. The clog was 15-20 feet into the pipes so it took about that long for him to get the rooter thing that far in. He cleaned up nicely when he was done and mentioned that the pipes are greasy and would benefit from 1/2 a bottle of Drain-o.

I had a clog somewhere deep in the pipe of a bathroom sink. I tried the "green" approach of using baking soda and vinegar, using a plunger, and snaking the drain myself before I went to the nuclear option of pouring bottle of Drano down the drain. None of that worked so I gave JK Plumbing a call. He showed up right on time and was literally here for ten minutes and fixed the clog using a professional auger (much better than the $10 snake I was using). The price was reasonable when compared to the amount of time and materials I used trying unsuccessfully to fix the problem myself.
He kept the work area clean by laying down a towel and cleaned up the sink afterwards. If I had any complaints it would be that his clothes smelled of cigarette smoke. That's not a huge deal since I'm not very sensitive to it. Will I call JK Plumbing again if I have another plumbing problem? You bet. -

I found Krill through Yelp in May of this year and called because of the good reviews.
He gave a reasonable estimate to replace a kitchen sink faucet and repair a broken tub drain. He suggested which brand of faucet to purchase (Delta). We set up a time for him to come back and perform the repairs a week later. He arrived on time and performed the repairs quickly and within the estimate.
I used Krill again on the morning of Dec 24- Christmas eve day! He answered his phone promptly, and arranged to come in under an hour. He diagnosed the problem with the kitchen sink clog and repaired it.
He is friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. I will definitely call Krill in the future. -

Shatangi does not like to wait. Especially when there is a plumbing emergency. Kirill responded to my call in record time and fixed my leak and replaced parts at a most reasonable price. It's nice to know that there are still some contractors that will not rip you off like the monster sized corporations that charge way more than they are due.

I used my disposal for some fibrous vegetables and clogged up my drain. Tried to unclog it myself but failed. It was pretty bad. I called JK plumbing after reading the reviews. Krill did a great job. It took him an hour but he finally unclogged my drain. He was thorough and made sure the entire line was clear. He also did a great job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend him. Worth the $85.00. I have paid more in the past.

A friend referred us to JK Plumbing & Rooter Service recently. Kirill came to the rescue. Apparently we just needed our line snaked but he also fixed the water pressure in our faucet that had been bothering me since we moved into this place. I appreciated that he explained what he was doing and why we were having problems.
We were hesitant to call a plumber because we thought the price would be too high. I was pleasantly surprised and I will definitely be calling JK Plumbing for any of our plumbing needs. Overall positive experience. -

This review is long overdue. At the time of this review Kirill is starting work on his fourth project with my company, and has consistently surpassed my expectations. He is a master of his trade, and a very honest businessman. On top of this he is also very easy going, and my clients love him.
Kirill has completed three kitchen remodels for us, and always passes his inspections the first time. ALWAYS. He completes his work on time, for the quoted price, and freely offers shares his expertise.
I can say from experience that:
His price is very fair.
His work is top notch.
He is punctual and reliable.
He is my plumber and no, you can't have him (just kidding.) -

Based on the reviews here, I called Kirill when faced with a very badly plugged up sink. I was not disappointed!
Not only did he return my call almost instantaneously but he showed up exactly when promised.
We moved into our 1950's home almost a year ago knowing that there were quite a few plumbing related items that needed to be changed so I asked a lot of questions to try to get his input on what to do.
Kirill was helpful and honest even when suggesting that I not spend the money to change things immediately. He also gave us a lot of tips on how to prevent our drain from having any problems in the future. I really appreciated his input and advice and to top it all off the cost of fixing our drain was beyond reasonable.
When he finished the job, he cleaned everything up and wiped down what could've been left as a soggy mess. I was very impressed with everything and I would definitely call on JK Plumbing & Rooter again! -

Kirill has been my plumber for years, since he worked at Black Sea plumbing back in 2004. Now he is running his own business and continues to do good work for me.
He has done all sorts of work for me- plumbed a remodeled bathroom mixer valve, shower head and side spray heads, plumber a line to my new fridge, installed a hose hookup outside, and just today he installed an under-sink water filter system
He is a great plumber. His price is always reasonable and typically less than other folks I call for estimates. He is clean and on time
Give him a try, I bet you'll be happy with him and his work like I am -

Had a persistent leaky shower in south city at my friend's place (yes, I am a good friend, subject of a different review). Called these guys because they could get here inside a couple hours. Had old plumbing and the guy was sweating mightily, but.... knocked out the leak in about 30 minutes, cleaned up after himself, and charged just $85. Honest, professional work, love it. You need some rootin' or plumbin work done round these parts, call these guys, you won't be disappointed, 'nuff said.

I could not more highly recommend NOT using JK Plumbing. The person they sent to fix our water line pipe cut through 3 separate sprinkler lines in the process. He then refused to fix them saying we need to "have our landscaper" fix them. After much debate he begrudgingly agree to fix the pipes.
He then "forgot" to call the city inspector for 3 days. So for those 3 days we had the ripped up grass and piles of dirt sitting on what was left of our lawn.
Then, they refused to give us an itemized bill for the work and aggressively demanded payment the day the work was completed. The estimate sufficed according to them and we were required to pay them immediately. Later, the owner "Joy" called to demand payment and berated my wife on the phone.
The work done seems ok, but the process, the plumber, and the company were nightmares to deal with. I have a feeling there is something strange going on at the company. People in need of a plumber, look somewhere else. -

Kirill is very nice and came as soon as I called, but I paid $75 to have my clogged toilet fixed and it was still clogged after he left. I also paid $35 to have a sink unclogged and now the faucet leaks.

Based on all the positive Yelps for this plumber, I called him and was not disappointed! After arranging for a last-appt-of-his-day, he got freed up and was able to run over right after I got home from work. He fixed a badly clogged kitchen sink and gave me good advice on an ancient garage WC that was not worth replacing- when I can, I'll call him to help me turn the room into a laundry area instead! He was very helpful, honest, and fairly priced. Call JK Plumbing with confidence!

Fast, friendly service! Same day call to route out our sewer when it began backing up on the sidewalk. Afterwards I showed him some other small nagging problems and he told me how to easily and cheaply fix them myself.

This was my second time calling JK. Last year I asked them to unclog my main sewer line, which generally clogs up once a year, so I've used 10 different services for this over the past couple of decades. JK was the best for timeliness (which is critical when you have a clog), and for price, which was very competitive. The showed up quickly, worked efficiently, cleaned up and didn't try and sell services. Kirill was a pleasure to work with. This time my tenant's kitchen sink was leaking badly, damaging cabinet and floor. Kirill showed up promptly and had it fixed in 15 minutes. We experienced the same timely service, reasonable price and friendly customer service. We plan on using their services exclusively in the future.

Kirill came out in response to a request to my homeowner insurance. We had a blocked drain. He had it cleared in less than 10 minutes. While he was here, I did, of course, ask him to bid on some work I wanted to get done.
I needed a gas line run to a dryer and one set up for a stove. He quoted me $385. This was $200 lower than the other two companies I called. Since he did a good job with the drain, and seemed very pleasant, I decided to go with him. I could not be happier.
He got the work done in about 3 hours. The other contractors quoted that it would take 6 to 7 hours. It was an easy job (easy access to all areas).
There is a slight gas leak to the dryer, he will be here later today to sort that out.
Highly recommended. -

We had a short list of annoying little plumbing jobs that we're too stupid/inept to handle. Plumbing is not in our skill set. Kiril was flexible, arranged to come at a time that worked for us, and arrived right on time. He was personable and professional, explained our options, when and where we had them, then finished all three jobs in an hour, explained what he'd done, provided a thirty-day warrantee on his work, and was on his way. Full marks. He's our plumber. Period.

I would recommend and use JK Plumbing & Rooter again. They provided me a half an hour window of time he'd show up and he did. Kirill and an apprentice identified themselves with a business card. Kirill provided me an estimate and after I agreed he promptly finished the work. They were very polite and professional.
