Jim's Steakout

Just ordered a chicken finger sub to share with my friend visiting from out of town. Picked it up, got home to eat, and it's a mess. Soaking wet. Almost like the blue cheese and hot sauce are watered down and excessively poured over the sub. Soggy and chicken fingers taste old and are paper thin. Inedible. Would not recommend from this location

I have been going to this location for years. There must be a new owner or management. The quality of food has gone down. Like another reviewer said, the subs are a sloppy mess. Tried again yesterday. My Philly tasted awful (and it's usually my favorite) It was dry as a bone. My kids got the fingers like usual and they were soggy and so small. Maybe a different supplier? Here's their $18 fingers.

Ok. Best hoagies ... caviat ! I know yelp trusts me. I've been to Jim's. Love em! Spent years there. Alot of money!!! ,, but I have to be honest... the price??!!! Best hoagie ever!! ... I used to get a mushroom burger... the last time I had it,,,,, half the size ... way upped the price. .. used to ALWAYS get my favorite hoagie ...they priced me out!!!! food is great but a great hoag , fries and a drink $20-25. ....Jim's is my fav. Can't afford it anymore. If you can fantastic! Yelp, don't be mad at me. Just too expensive.

Listen, the stinger hoagie is the biggest sandwich I maybe have ever seen. Not like, length wise, just the sheer mass of things stuffed in to it. It's more a trough made from bread then a sandwich. Normally I'd be all for that, but the meat had a strange taste to it that keeps this from being a recommended place.

Tried delivery from this place and it was pretty good.
We ordered the Steak Hoagie, Grilled chicken sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries, French Fries, Mac and Cheese Bites, and the order came within 30 minutes.
The food was good - I especially enjoyed the banana peppers on the Grilled chicken sandwich.
The portion sizes here are pretty big and they're generous with the sides too.
Once the shelter-in-place is over, definitely a place I'd like to try going in person.

This place is open pretty late and the prices are pretty good. It's not exactly haute cuisine, but if you're around Sheridan and need a late night snack, it'll suffice.

Visit was Aug. 22, 2023. The service was horrible, had I not paid for my order I would have left. Not one employee was welcoming or respectful. An over weight middle aged white guy took the order for a sit down meal. When the food was ready it was wrapped up to go and he slammed it down on the table in front of me without saying a word. I called out to him I ordered a water as well but he kept going back into the back room out of site. A young AA woman gave me the water but again, no words, no smiles nothing. The AA cook was into his cooking and not communicative. While I am eating the white guy comes out and he and the cook back and forth "F bombing" every other word, loud and not at all professional. It appeared the white guy was the one making everyone else working there miserable but I can't be certain. Obviously, my giving this place business was a HUGH mistake and I will never go back there nor will my coworkers after I told them what happened. Needless to say their bad form lost them a good dozen customers. My caution is buyer be ware of the environment BEFORE giivng your money to spare yourself what I endured.

Customer service is horrible but the subs are good other jims are better service. I have had many mistakes at the one on the blvd so after along time of not going thought i would try this one food made right just the service has an attitude.

Subs are overrated and a huge disappointment. I ordered a Philly and a Jefferson to go. I live close to the store, so distance had nothing to do with the condition of the sandwiches. Both were dripping in grease, so much the roll was soaking wet, instead of crispy. The result was the sandwiches fell apart and had to be consumed with a fork. I know people love Jim's, but I'll never visit again.
