Went for a friends bday dinner. This place was an average mom/pop shop.
As for the selection of food.. not big but different, pizza looked decent..sub looked okay..salad was good.. but from a friends suggestion the house dressing was the way to go.. next time i will do that for sure....
They have spinach lasagna!! Let me tell you...that is some good eats!! YUMMY! my boyfriend who is an avid for meat...loved it!! I stuck to my normal basics and had the chicken Marsala.. it was amazing.. they had tons of mushrooms..which I loved..the chicken was very tender!
As for everyone at the table..it was the usual.. chicken alfredo.. which looked good..and the serving was huge! Chicken parmensan, crispy goodness..and the garlic bread was decent.. Shrimp alfredo look great and was told it was amazing as well..
So this place wasnt bad... it was roomy and just a good little old place to visit.. it has a wine shop that is next door.. its BYOB.. so take that fancy wine bottle and enjoy some good old pasta dishes!
This is a good place to get standard Italian food with large servings. My parents love the take out and it makes two or three meals for them so it's a great deal for the money. I love the chicken or veal marsala and the eggplant parm is fantastic. All the dishes come with a big ole side of spagetti and a smile from the sweet owners. If you aren't big eaters, split an entre, for real.
I had to cater a dinner for 70 people and just happened upon this place while driving around. I wish I would have ordered lunch from this place too. The girl who served us was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. They provided all the plates, napkins, utensils and things that we needed-- a plus when you're an out-of-towner. They serve pretty standard italian fare and also new york style pizzas. This was the one bright spot on the short time I had in Duncanville.
