Review from Eric B.
This was my second meal at a bowling alley during my recent trip to the Anacortes area. The Dude does abide. And I still have a few bowling balls (and shoes) at home from earlier league days to prove it.
I had come off the ferry from Anacortes and at 7:30 AM, I was pretty hungry. And there were lots of coffee and breakfast places open and more than I would have expected for a town of this size. I guess all of the folks who live in those nice houses on and off this island eventually do come to town.
Anyway, I really enjoyed my breakfast here. I had a generous breakfast sandwich and coffee that really hit the spot. The dining room was festive and the waitress was old fashioned friendly/gruff and dressed for the part. I would definitely come back.
The rest of this business includes the bowling alley, a pro shop, a bar area, and a room with a few pool tables and other games. It's all very efficiently layed out and would be a great place to take the family. -

When the lady at my hotel asked if I had any questions I asked where the best pizza joint on the island was and she pointed me here. I had also seen a lot of talk about their pizza and how great and unique it is. The next night I grabbed a pizza and sat down to watch the game, but I was pretty disappointed with the 'za.
I ordered a basic pepperoni and the best way to describe it is average. Nothing terrible, but nothing that made it stand out either. Just as plain as plain gets. It was a pretty thick crust with a nice amount of cheese, but the pepperoni was pretty tasteless. It was fine, I didn't mind eating it while I watched the game, but I certainly would never make a point of going back. -

We were having 5 for breakfast, and we had good timing that a table of 5 was leaving when we arrived. Ian and I both had the steak and eggs, while the child had the eggs benedict scramble (instead of poached eggs there was scrambled eggs). The child loved the different take on her favorite meal. My steak was cooked medium rare just like I ordered and the over medium eggs were perfect! Ian's mom and stepdad shared the quesadilla scramble, which came inside a folded, grilled tortilla. It smelled fresh and tasty.
This place is also the Paradise bowling alley's restraunt so you want a full bar? Viola! They've got a full bar. Their Bloody Ceasar had mild heat and was yummy. Ian had the Red Parrot that's made with Red Pepper Absolut. Woowee! Hotcha matta! It was spicy!!
The service (again only one server) was top notch and consistent. I liked the big paradise beach mural with the panel pieces so it was more of a "window" instead of your dentist's waiting room. -

Outstanding breakfast, don't let the fact that this place is in a bowling alley keep you from eating here!

Very tasty pizza! The crust is extremely thick and chewy, and there are lots of interesting pizzas to choose from.
Everyone in my party ordered pizza and salad, and both offer generous amounts of food! You can definitely share a salad with one or maybe two other people, since the salads fill a dinner-sized plate.
After a long day wandering around the island, this pizza really hit the spot!
