I am writing this cause someone asked for a auto repair services.  I realized that I should write a review...:)

So I first found out about Jimmy's Automotive after I bought a car from a friend. She took the car there and had all of the repair records so why change.  (Also one of the guys went to my church so I figured if he screwed up I could make a confession and well God would smite him)

The guys are very trustworthy and will charge a reasonable amount for labor and the exact price for repairs.  I didn't give 5 stars not so much because of this dealership but because of cars now. The most expensive item on my recent repairs is the computer diagnostic system.  Jimmy said it once before that in the old days you can listen to the car and fix it right up, now you have to run a computer system and clear the computer of the problem.

The shop is located RIGHT ON the #5/#26 and  the #1/#101 bus routes so getting to campus or downtown is easy. It is close to the cute grocery store on Woodrow as well.

Also, they will look over a car if you are about to purchase and last time I went my dealership and said I needed the CV boots repaired. I took it by Jimmy's for a second opinion ready to pay whatever the cost were and then I get a call and they are like "nothing is wrong with the boots" and they checked out another problem I had at the time. I went to pay some sort of inspection charge and they were like...you can go...

Great place!!!

I have used Jimmy's for years. He is always honest, fair and capable. He is not the cheapest but he consistently performs good honest high quality repairs, which is what I am looking for.
