Jimmy Johns never ceases to amaze me with their lightning fast delivery! I work in downtown, on the top floor of my building, about 8 or 9 blocks away from their sub shop....still, they always manage to make my sandwich perfectly and get it to my mouth in under 15 minutes.

The fact that their delivery is that fast merits the 5 stars..the delicious sandwiches, are just a bonus.

If you work in downtown and are on a lunch time crunch, check them out. Oh....and you can order online! BonusX2!

This places annoys me.  I hate the people and the atmosphere during lunch.  There's yelling and screaming and throwing and all kinds of lost-in-the-jungle activity.  I hate it.

HOWEVER, damn the bread is good.  I endure the visit just so I can sit at my desk back at work and eat the sandwich.  I've always been a sucker for bread and Jimmy John's, unfortunately for my stress levels, has the best sandwich bread downtown.

Stumbled into this place on the way back from the courthouse---where it now occupies the space where the old Checkers used to be. I needed a quick bite, and this place did not disappoint.

As soon as you open the doors, you are greated by a series of welcomes-which reminded me of Moe's way of greeting customers.

An employee recommend the "Vito" sub, which is a good ol' fashioned Italian sub, made with Genoa salami, provolone, capicola, onion, lettuce tomato and with oil and vinegar. Although the meat is a little on the salty side, the quality is good and certainly tastes better than Subway, but certainly falls short of the some of the local mom & pop sandwhich shops . They have their own brand of kettle cooked chips, which were tasty.

This is more of a "grab and go", type of place with limited seating. While waiting for your sub, take a look at the funny, kitschy signs strewn about the restaurant.

Jimmy John's, how I love you. During a lunch recess we came here for food. I ordered the Italian Dance Party (or something to that effect), which the sandwich makers actually took the order for before I got to the register. By the time I paid and made my way to the soda machine, the sandwich was already ready to go. It was made exactly as I asked and tasted wonderful. There's not a whole lot of seating available inside, but more outside, which was good on the beautiful day we were here.

Was at the museum of history in downtown and looking for a quick bite to eat, we were told to go to jimmy johns for sandwiches.  I'm so glad we went there, they have super delicious sandwiches. I had a turkey, avocado spread, cucumber, bean sprouts, tomato on their fresh baked 7 grain thick toast. Good selection of sandwiches, and they also have lettuce wrap subs for the carb counter. cool little surfer vibe place.

A while back I heard of some people giving away subs in the lobby of my building.  People giving away food you say?  Investigate I must.  So I found out they had opened a Jimmy Johns near my work and they were doing promotions in my building.  Decided to give it a try for lunch and I was not disappointed.  A nice selection of subs and if you're healthy conscious they've got something called an "un-wich" which is like a sub but minus the bread and replace it w/ a lettuce wrap.

I had the Vito which is their version of an italian.  The person at the counter suggested to add sweet peppers and what a great suggestion it was.  A very good sandwich accompanied with some good BBQ chips and it made for a nice lunch.  Reasonably priced.  Fast service. A step up from Quizno's.
