They call themselves the BEST and GOURMET ... alot to live up too ... basic cold subs (which is how they should be served) .... ordered the Vito, thier version of an italian ... no pickles (boo hiss) .. and a bit dry (pump up the oil and vinegar peeps) ... better than Lenny's or Subway ... not as good as Jersey Mikes .. and still no one can touch Tony's back in Deerfield (IL) ... would i stop there again .. yeah.. but probably not a special trip

Every time I've gone to this location I have never been disappointed. The service is great. Each person for some reason has a smile on their face and you're greeted as soon as you walk in the door without feeling like you have to order right then and there which may cause some decision confusions. I have tried many of the sandwiches and they all taste really good. The bread is soft and tastes fresh. They sell their loaves of bread and it's definitely worth buying. Although I tried making a sandwich at home and for some reason it's still not the same.
The unwich which is basically the sandwich without the bread is pretty creative and tastes really good. It's actually not as messy as I thought it would be considering everything is held together by pieces of lettuce. They make sure you know how to eat it without having all the insides spill out. The best part about this place is that the prices are very reasonable. You can get a great tasting sandwich in matter of minutes! There have been times where I haven't even finished paying and my sandwich is already made and ready to be eaten!
I'm so glad they're opening up one in the NW side of town...can't wait til they open up. Hopefully they're as good as the other ones.

Jimmy John's makes a traditional sub sandwich the way it should be made. Excellent french bread, not the spongy, tasteless stuff you get at some places. Fresh ingredients - I could really taste the roast beef and provolone in my sandwich. I wasn't blown away by the sandwich, but it's far superior to Subway, Quiznos, etc. Service is fast and friendly, and their chips are worth mentioning - 1.19 for a bag over two ounces, and they're first rate. All in all a good dependable sub place. I'll go back, though I would also recommend checking out Pot Belly Sandwich Works across the freeway.

This is the best quick sub/sandwich shop around. The food is fresh, fast and is even (in some cases) good for you. The prices are very good and the service is friendly. Sandwich, chips, drink = 7 bucks.
I love the Turkey Tom sandwich here - they use alfalfa sprouts, which is rare and it's good for you without tasting like, well, nothing.
No better place if you have little/no time and need a tasty sandwich fix. I go here often to grab lunch on extra-busy workdays.

I was hoping that this Jimmy John's would be as wonderful as the one in College Station and I was not disappointed (yes, chains can vary from site to site and I didn't want to have my high expectations crushed).
The bread at Jimmy John's is worth a trip alone. It is fluffy and delicious--and always soft. All the bread that they don't use by the end of the day goes on sale the next day for mere pennies.
They actually managed to get our orders right--pretty much impossible at Subway unless you are dictating everything a few times over so they don't screw it up in the whole 2 minute process.
We were in and out in just a few minutes with delicious sandwiches and happiness on my face. It is easy to get to and with the fast service (we were even there at noon and we didn't have to wait), it made it a perfect stop for a yummy bite.

I will NEVER be satisfied with Subway again! I think I got the California and I loved it! The staff here is also VERY nice. Oh and the bread is the SOFTEST/MOISTEST I've ever had. Bravo!
Obviously pricier then Subway but its really worth it, if you are willing to pay 7-9 bucks for a nice lunch. Yum.

I save my five stars for really transcendent experiences, but of Jimmy John's I have no complaints. If you're looking for a good, quick sandwich wtih good bread, plenty of stuff inside, and munchies on the side, this is the place. What impressed me the most about Jimmy John's was how FAST they were. I had barely finished signing my receipt and my sandwich was ready. It's a little more expensive than Subway, but not much, and their sandwiches are nice and long. Very satisfying meal, well prepared, and efficient!
EDIT: Their online ordering process is so easy and well planned out! Go Jimmy John's!

The best sandwich's in town. When I went to college in Michigan I lived off these sandwiches, I ate them at least three times a week. My personal favorite is the Vegetarian, which says something considering I love meat. Give this place a try and make a new Houston staple!

It's about time. There is a new sandwich in town and it's the fastest sandwich in the West.
I didn't realize how tired I have become of Quizno's and Subway until I got Jimmy John's. I really do hope this chain catches on. Think about it. There hasn't been anything new. You got Togo's and that's about it.
The deal is this. Big simple menu. Lots of different sandwiches so you don't need all the fancy special order stuff. Just peppers or not. Super fresh and made quick.
I swear I was at Quizno's today, hungry and about to blow my top standing in line. I know you've had this experience before, you know it. There's an idiot trainee behind the counter whose facility with English is just about as close as your facility with the mathematics of nuclear fuel rod containment. They shout back and forth to the manager about the next ingredient to put on the sandwich. I blew the hell out of there. I don't want that kind of moron putting my food together. I'm sorry. It's a sandwich, it's supposed to be simple.
I get to JJs right around the corner. I'm listening to Emmett of the Unblinking Eye do his list of top ten Puppet movies on the radio. They cut to a commercial break, I jump out of the car, order and get my sandwich before they stop talking about the Sleep Number bed. Excellent!
Naturally, I get JJ's Gargantuan, which is a nice footlong with all kinds of healthy veggies and Italian cold cuts. The seasoning is perfect, the bread is unsophisticated and healthy. I don't have to pronounce a whole lot of catchy marketing names. It's a sandwich! It's not complicated. It's fast.
Please. Please. Please eat here so they can go national.
I was ecstatic when I found out I no longer have to drive to Austin to eat a Jimmy Johns. Best sandwich out there. The ingredients are nothing too fancy, but the bread and mayo make all the difference. Subways and Quiznos are now inedible.
