We went to Jill's for their brunch buffet, and were overall not impressed. When you first look at the buffet, it seemed like it is going to be fantastic... seafood, dessert breakfast goodies. But none of the seafood was good. The shrimp were rubbery, and the crab legs tasted off the oysters were also off. The best part was the biscuits and gravy, but for $30 a head, the one great part on the buffet is not worth it. The desserts were also fair. It does come with bottomless mimosas and Bloody Marys so that is why it gets 2 instead of 1 star.

Overall, food is fair, mimosas are good.

This is a wonderful restaurant. Every course was excellent on my two visits : warm spinach salad,  an assortment of appetizers, duck entree,  and dessert duo. Excellent wine selection. Great Service. Prices are far below that which one would expect to pay at a fine dining restaurant of this caliber.

Jill's is a kind of place you dress up for.  You sit down, order some wine and take your time to order.  Appetizers were great.  We tried the braised ribs and some sort of yummy potato dish.
The tasty entrees were well presented but not over the top.  I didn't try dessert but next time I won't eat so many of those darn potato thingys!!
The bar is very cozy and an ideal place for a date.
Parking is free in the parking garage downtown so no need to search for a spot on busy Walnut.
Prices were a little high but I felt like I got what I paid for.

One of Boulder's newest fine dining spots, Jill's is a swanky place located inside the St. Julien Hotel, easily the greatest hotel I've ever stayed in. This is fancy, fancy, fancy, and they pamper you like crazy.

My girlfriend and I stayed here, and the following morning we went to Jill's for brunch. It was one of the most amazing breakfasts of my life. They've got the traditional brunch buffet, with eggs and meat and potatoes, but have a wide variety of specialty items and pastries and, yes, tiramisu! Tiramisu for breakfast? That earns you five stars in my book.

So, I've had breakfast and dinner here, and both have been out of this world. They also have an Italian all-you-can-eat buffet for lunch that's mediocre. But everything else is amazing. It'll cost you, but it's worth it.
