I really enjoyed my lunch here.  Not too greasy and I wasn't running for pitchers of water post meal.

Beef with Broccoli $6.95
The broccoli was not soggy or oily, can't ask for more than that.  Actually I can, next time I would request Chinese broccoli.

Whole Fish with Brown Sauce $12.95
Shanghainese specialty.  I just wish they had LIVE fish here.  Robust flavor.

Assorted Vegetables $6.50
I LOVED this dish!  It's veggies wrapped in tofu skin and artfully tied into a knot.  Mmm...delicious!

Also ordered a special on the wall, it's only in characters, so of course I needed translation, usually they are impatient with illiterate folk, but here they were nice and helpful.  The special was a fish and pine nut stir fry with lettuce cups, the fish bits were not big enough for my palate, and I'm not too big on pine nuts.

They recently changed owners and I noticed the weekend breakfast has gotten a lot better.I guess they are really the only option around here for all the different dumplings, soy bean milk, and other breakfast items I miss from Taiwan.
