Best sandwich place I know. And I hear Jennifer will arise from the flood like a wet Phoenix in a newly renovated and expanded restaurant that will serve breakfast, lunch, AND dinner. I can't wait to go back to Wilmington!

Jen of Jezebel's Eatery is a naturally gifted cook. All sandwiches are delicious. I am partial to the Drunken Swine with it's bourbon sauce. All the soups are great, a favorite is the Wild Mushroom and Brie. Baked goods are also killer. Treat yourself.

Jezebel's Eatery is a sandwich shop and ice cream parlor located in the center of Wilmington in the 1836 Country Store. I only ate from the ice cream parlor, so this review is tailored to the ice cream. There is a blurp at the end about the process of ordering a sandwich. The ice cream I thought was very good. They serve it to you in either a cup or a cone and they don't give you a selection of sizes. It's a very traditional ice cream parlor. I ate the black raspberry ice cream and it was excellent. It was sweet but not too sweet and the taste of the raspberries really came out. Service was good, they were very nice and got the ice cream right away. However, we ordered a tuna sandwich for someone else and it took ten minutes for them to put it together, which is a bit lengthy for tuna salad, considering you can make it in five tops at home, and it didn't look like anything different than what you make at home. Overall, if you want to get a sandwich or have some ice cream in Wilmington, stop at Jezebel's Eatery.
