We got my fiance's wedding band here.  The people were very friendly and helpful.  She was up front that custom jewelry cost more, so helped us look through catalog upon catalog to find what we were looking for.  We quickly found what we wanted, that no other store we checked had.

We ordered my fiance's ring with no worries- if we didn't like it when it came in, we were under no obligation to buy the custom sized ring and there would be no restocking charge.

The price of the ring depends on the price of gold, which she told us was going up.

The ring came in 2 weeks later at the same price she quoted while we were there the first time.  It was exactly what we were looking for, and we bought it.  They made sure it was clean upon bagging it, and included a jewelry cleaner and polish rag.

We're very happy with the purchase and would recommend them.

EDIT:
Two days after the wedding, the antiquing on my husband's ring started to wear off.  It looked like he'd worn it for years, not days.  We took it back to Jewelry by Design.  They said the antiquing was coming off because it was polished metal- there was nothing for the paint to stick to.  They resurfaced the antiquing area and re-antiqued it free of charge.  My husband's ring is now holding up well and looks great!
