I just saw Jessica for the second time, and just like the first time, the experience was nothing less than transformative. Jessica has an incredible way of seeing into your life, your thoughts, your patterns, your fears, your dreams...basically, all your shit comes out on the table and you're like, "Whoa, there it is. That is my shit." Then, Jessica diplomatically and hilariously leads you through the ins and outs of it, and you wind up with greater clarity into what the fuck you're doing with your life. Give her a simple question and she can accurately construct the circumstances surrounding it, how you feel about it, and where to go next. Give her somebody's name and she can pinpoint exactly what is wrong (or right) with your relationship with them. It's uncanny and impressive. And she is 100% worth the 6-month wait.

I would give her 3.5 stars if Yelp's system allowed, but since it doesn't I'll go with 3 until I see her again and have a better experience..
I didn't have a *bad* reading, but I was a bit letdown. First of all, there was a 5 month waiting list when I called. A coworker had referred me and assured me that Jessica's mystical powers were pretty impressive, so I went ahead and booked a full 6 months ahead of time (for my birthday, as a special treat). I don't hold the wait time against her (hey, she's popular for a reason) - but that's just a fact that you should consider before calling to schedule.
If you are afraid of driving in SF and come here especially to see Jessica (as I did), beware that there is only street parking and that can be a pain to people who aren't savvy in city parking. Once I arrived, I was pleased to see that she's a caring and down to earth chick, and her shop is super cute. She's about the same age as me, relateable and it wasn't hard speaking with her about personal issues.
The main thing that bugged me is that she focused 90% of the reading on an issue that was not nearly my greatest concern. It also wasn't something that required much in the way of psychic intervention. Once I finally got the balls to interrupt her and push more towards the topics of concern, she was pretty spot-on and helpful. Unfortunately, that portion of the reading only lasted about 10 minutes and left me a bit disappointed.
My overall advice is to be more pushy than I was in directing the flow of the session and/or be cool with hearing lots of advice on stuff you weren't necessarily hoping to discuss.Listed in: spiritual mumbo jumbo

Imma quit dancin' around this shit...the bitch is fuckin' psychic.
You can call her intuitive, call her a therapist, call her an astrologer, whatever helps you sleep at night...but just call her.
I had an appointment with her a couple months ago and, obviously, it went well. She has a lot of insight, really cuts to the chase, and doesn't pussyfoot around the issues. And believe me, you have issues...and Jessica will help you solve them. On top of all that, she's cute, funny, sweet, smart, and stylish!! She's so down to earth; she takes the crystal ball out of being psychic...but not the cape--bitch loves her some capes!! -

I've seen Jessica with some regularity for a few years now. And I have a confession to make: I use her as my therapist. And it's been amazecakes. But check it:
I don't come in asking her for some Miss Cleo-ery. I'm not that into divination. I'm not like "Love, Money, and Sex. What do you see coming?" No disrespect about asking shit like that- that shit's fun.
It's not that I don't care, I'm just down to let that stuff unfold as it may.
Don't think I don't put stock in astrology or intuition- I do! (Hell, if half the populations' bodies are influenced by the moon monthly, imagine what larger astral bodies can influence.) But when I come to see Jessica, it's for turbo-therapy.
Part of why I feel my work with Jessica has been particularly good for me is because I feel she speaks my language. That said, I think she actually speaks a ton of different languages. Don't take my word for it- search "Jessica Lanyadoo" in your itunes podcasts and listen to her on the Diane Cage show. She's got a way with truck drivers and CEOs alike. It's fairly rad.
But back to me. Jessica's got a razor-sharp insight into what's up with me and why, the influences in my life, and she's also got suggestions for PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS. I'm all about practical solutions. I have benefited from processing the (seeming) nonsense that is my life with someone who is compassionate and does NOT mince words. Notice that I said Jessica has SUGGESTIONS. Not edicts. Jessica has a way of framing your agency that is terribly empowering and true. I see my time at Jessica's (seriously hip and lovely) office as work that I'm up to, with a counselor, and it's been super effective for me. And...as much as I seriously loathe the language of hippy-dippy, airy-fairy fuckery...my work with Jessica has been really healing. Work. It's work.
In summation: Are you having a WHAT THE FUCK moment? Call Jessica. Are you having a I'M HAVING A WEIRD SKIN ISSUE THAT NOBODY CAN DIAGNOSE moment? Call Jessica. Are you having a I THINK I'M IN THE WRONG RELATIONSHIP BUT I CAN'T TELL CAUSE MY BRAIN IS ALL GOOGLY moment? ...You get it. But get ready. Cause if you need a diaper, go buy some Depends- it costs less. Jessica is by all means the person to hit up when you're ready to DEAL with yourself in a serious, grounded and real way. -

I just saw Jessica for my second appointment and, yet again, I walked away not only amazed by her guidance and intuition, but also by the clarity she gave me on my life and changes I'd like to make in the future.
A visit with Jessica is like a visit with someone who knows you as well (if not better) than you know yourself. During our first meeting she really tapped into who I was at my core, my strengths and weaknesses, and she understood the entirety of my life. We spent almost half my session communicating with several close people who have passed away in my life. It wasn't scary or spooky, just honest and heartfelt. She seemed to really capture who these people were. She immediately picked up on their physical look and their distinct personalities and I was able to find peace with many unanswered questions I had for them. She hit on all the topics I wanted to discuss with with people and I felt honored and lucky to have had the opportunity to find closure through Jessica's amazing gift.
During our first session Jessica also recommended that I go on three dates with a man that was pursuing me at the time. I was truly skeptical about her suggestion, as I didn't see this going anywhere. Jessica was so spot-on with all the other topics in our session, I gave her idea a chance. The man and I have now been in the healthiest relationship on my life for close to 4 months!
Jessica and I spent my second meeting talking about my new relationship. We also touched on some personal issuing and, as always, she understood situations and emotions without me having to explain anything significant to her.
Jessica asks many questions to help guide her advice. If you are honest and open during these questions you may find her guiding you right into a giant revelation. She isn't looking for any sort of right or wrong answer, she's just looking to serve your desire to know about your life in totality.
If you are looking for someone who will tell you when you're going to get a parking ticket or if it's going to be a sunny day, don't see Jessica. She isn't here to make predictions, but based on your session she may be able to lead you to a better understanding of who you are, what you want, and how to find what you may be searching for.
She is so kick-back, funny, friendly... she will make you comfortable as soon as you sit down. Don't even worry about being nervous.
I can't recommend Jessica enough! Book now because she is always very busy, but from first hand experience---- she is well worth the wait. -

I visited Jessica over a year ago. It was my first time ever to visit an intuitive counselor. I pretty much got the same experience as another reviewer: I called for an appointment but she was so booked that my appointment was scheduled 3 months later, and I left feeling like there was nothing she told me that I didn't already know about myself. I was pretty disappointed to spend $120 only to have Jessica reaffirm what i already knew.
I give her 2 stars because she does seem to truly care about helping you, and I do love her fun, quirky personality.
But who knows? Maybe you might have a different experience. -

At first I'm thinking, "What's a fawn in the biz profile photos got to do with anything? This is never going to work." After no more than five minutes in Jessica's chair, you couldn't have paid me to stand up.
"So what's all this intuitive mumbo jumbo?" you're probably asking. Well, it's like having a conversation with a person who knows you really well. You can't lie, because you both know what's not true.
And like I said, this lady is on point. Her sensitivity to not only subtle physical ailments but inner emotional states is astounding. With a mix of tarot, channeling and astrology, she'll get to the core of your issue all while charming you with her liveliness and quirkiness.
Thinking Oracle from the Matrix? Not quite. Jessica's youthful and tech-savvy. After she pointed out I should download an iPhone app to record the session, she was able to tell me that one ex was a "one trick pony" while the other I communicated with via "texting." Then she called me a "flexi." LOL.
Of course, those are minor details. The insight into my behavioral patterns blew me away. I'm not claiming to know how the magic works, but I do know that an hour of her practical advice and the way she helped me discover some buried truths and shed light on different parts of my character was actually far more effective than any intro shrink appointment. I really enjoyed my session with Jessica- totally worth the $100 to do it once. The only reason I can't give her 5 stars like everyone else did is that part of me is still a little skeptical.
But let me back up. I wasn't sure what to expect Jessica to be like, but I found her to be fairly young, like in her 30s, with curly dark brown hair and these huge grey glasses. And she says "eh?" like a total Canadian. :) She's very warm, engaging, and quirky.
You can tape your session, so bring your iPod. In case yours isn't compatible like mine, bring a blank cassette just in case. So my session was a combination of astrology, tarot, and intuitive counseling. If you give her your birthdate, birth time, and birth place, Jessica has a computer system where she's able to plug it all in and get your astrological chart. To start, she looked at the chart, asked me all kinds of questions about my career, family, relationships. Then as we got into the session, she pulled out the tarot cards here and there to help answer specific questions.
As someone posted previously, it's important to note that Jessica calls herself an intuitive counselor, not a psychic. So now I can see what that means. While there were a few times where she knew stuff that I don't know how she did since I didn't volunteer any info, overall she does ask a lot of questions. And based on your answers, she's able to get a sense of who you are and what advice you need for whatever problems you're concerned about. Basically, I think she's very good at reading people. She's like a therapist with a few extra tools at her disposal. So I think it's really cool to have someone who can so quickly get a sense of who you are and what advice you need, and really fill the hourlong session with a lot of important points.
So back to why despite keeping in mind that she's not a psychic, I still couldn't manage to give her 5 stars. Being the dork that I am, I decided to transcribe my tape, 'cause who uses a cassette player these days? I wanted to have my session in a written, digital format. Anyhow, during the process of transcribing, I lost some of the initial euphoria and amazement I felt after the session. The reason is that I started to see that a lot of the statements she made seemed less surprising once on paper. Like, I'm an Asian girl who grew up in the Bay Area. I don't think it's a stretch for her to look at my chart and say my parents were immigrants. Or to say that my brother and I are like different animals. Aren't most siblings pretty different from each other? Once on paper, I just started to see more clearly her pattern of questioning.
On the upside, she was able to look at my chart and immediately say that I'll be graduating in 2 yrs. Also, she's really good at getting a sense of the people in your life by you saying aloud their name or initials. So without me volunteering anything about my ex, she already knew how long we'd dated, and what his personality was like.
But given the majority of her statements being less surprising, I am still skeptical about the predictions that she made. I do hope that she's right, though. I think that the most valuable thing that I will take from my session is her focused advice based on her quick, keen ability to read me.
Oh, and one last thing- I asked her about tipping, since I wasn't sure if it was expected like when you go to a hairstylist. And while she wouldn't turn it down, it certainly isn't rude not to tip her. -

Hey guys,
I had an over the phone session with Jessica today and it was great. First, let me give you a little history. I have been listening to Sirius satellite radio for a long while and would hear Jessica on the Diana Cage show, that once ran on OutQ, the gay and lesbian channel, and decided to research her a bit before making contact. She seemed to know what she was talking about on the radio and many of the listeners seemed to agree with what she has to say.
So I did some research and read many of the reviews she had received. She had two bad reviews on here and that made me skeptical. So I requested to talk to her on the phone and have a bit of a consultation before setting up the appointment. Not only was she forthcoming with the information, she actually was sincere and explained her side of the story perfectly.
WARNING!! To those who feel like writing a bad review will accomplish anything for you. Remember that Jessica is not a psychic but is intuitive and incorporates astrology in her readings. Some of us will have better readings than others and that is true in anything and everything we do. For the reviewer that mentioned she just agreed with Jessica just to get the hour over with, I don't have any sympathy for you. Again, Jessica is an intuitive person and if you are not steering her in the right direction, how would she know what is right and wrong. Again, if you ask Jessica she will tell you she is not a psychic but has intuition and works as a medium.
Now with that said, I had my session with Jessica over the phone as she is in San Francisco and I am in San Diego. The reading was so informative, great, and enjoyable. She is funny and puts you at ease. We started off the session and she was able to channel my father from the other side. A skeptic may say that Jessica may have played on my emotions and picked up on facial expressions or body movements, but how can that be possible if we were on the phone hundreds of miles apart? Again, it sent chills down my spine when she told me things that only my father and mother knew, things that my mother did that annoyed my father, and vice versa. She mentioned other things within my family dynamics and with me personally that no one could possibly know unless they have known us for years.
Bottom line, at the end of the conversation I was able to walk away feeling more at ease with things that have bothered me and the pleasant surprise of my father channeling through to give me some good criticism was well worth it. If you're looking for an explanation and some guidance and direction in your life, not the Miss-Cleo, hodgepodge stuff, then Jessica Lanyadoo is the lady to go to.

I wasn't an astrology believer before Jessica but now I am. Ever since our session I've been really interested in Astrology and I've even been looking at my friend's Natal Charts and talking to them about their charts.
But back to Jessica. Jessica is incredible. Her intuitive sense coupled with her extensive knowledge of Tarot and Astrology has made her an extremely accurate intuitive. Not only did she "know" me but she spoke my truths. My deep dark truths that I hadn't shared with anyone else on this planet. The experience was so powerful I started to tear up. If I wasn't such a Virgo Rising I'm sure I would have started crying right then and there.
Yes she's expensive but she is worth every penny. Jessica's work altered my being more than weeks of therapy. I can't wait to go back in a few months once I've put into place all the changes I need to make in my life. -

such a great experience. you can record the session, and listen to it again at another time so that things can really sink in. I feel like a pretty self aware person who sometimes gets stuck in the junky junk that sometimes overwhelms my life, but my visit to jessica was inspiring on a whole lot of different levels.
she got me, she got my familiy, she got my friends, my bf (or ex)- she's got it all figured out and by having it figured out, she knows what needs to be done to fix x,y and z. that's the true beauty i found. Sure she can tell me what my probs are, but she also laid out pretty detailed plans on how i need to fix them. detailed, and realistic plans. i left her office that day jazzed about what i needed to do, jazzed that all the things I had thought i was doing to sabatoge myself were actually confirmed by her, jazzed that i was now armed with a few handy tools to turn it all around.

Jessica has a true gift that is so cool, you feel blessed just to watch it at work.
I scheduled my first visit when I was feeling like I was in the middle of some sort of crazy cosmic storm. Everything was changing, and it felt ... weird. Like something was up, something much more powerful than what I had insight to or could control in everyday life.
Turns out, it was the Saturn Return (google it). With Jessica, astrology is a lot more complicated than a daily horoscope in the newspaper. When someone who's studied the art is looking at your birth chart with your exact time and location of birth, it's a different story. I'm not saying I completely believe how I could be influenced by the planets, but it sure is dead-on every time Jessica does a reading, and that deserves respect. And as far as all the phases, influences and health issues she's brought up in our readings, all have been completely accurate. She's even pin-pointed times in my past when I've gone through major changes, like a cross-country move or a breakup. That's freaky y'all. Freaky awesome.
While the astrology reading is super-cool, and a great gift to yourself around a major life change or birthday, visiting Jessica is so much more than working with your birth chart. She's wily with the tarot, has magnificent insight into your own motivations and viewpoints, and gives the straight-up advice your friends are too polite to say. All is done in a fabulously lovable package from an amazing woman you just want to hug. I promise you can handle it. And even if you don't believe in any of these modalities, it's worth getting her objective and hilarious insight.
An important thing to note: this isn't quite therapy, but more like a starting point or a rest stop on the road trip of self-development. Seeing Jessica is like taking a time-out for a quick reality check. It's best when you have a burning question that goes something like, "WHAT THE HELL?"

Wow, wow, wow... wow. I have seen Jessica once a couple years ago and once a couple days ago and both times she has been right on and brought me great peace, clarity, and energy to make changes in my life.
When I visited her for a session last week, she had suggested via email (I'm in Seattle and went on a quest to SF) that she does medium work as well as intuitive astrology; skeptical, I declined. When I arrived, I quickly filled her in on my visit (adopted at birth, I was seeing my biological half-sister for the first time, my biological aunt, and my mother's husband; my mother died several years ago). She was sensitive, compassionate, and very funny.
After we discussed living family members and her impression "hits" (all right on), she told me that my dead mother came in with me. I already had a strong sense of her presence but was kinda floored by this. Jessica just started "interpreting" what she was saying.
I was skeptical at first but Jessica just threw out some mad crazy facts that even I didn't know until the next day when I went to my mother's home. Plus, while I couldn't visually see my mother, the sense of exactly where her location in the room was so strong that I pointed to the area and Jessica concurred that this was the place she was.
Jessica's intuitive astrology was right on as well, although after the medium experience I was just totally wiped and at peace.
She is an amazing, warm person and I highly, highly, highly recommend her. I used to periodically go to therapy but her sessions are valuable enough for me to skip all that. She is the real deal. -

I've looked over the other reviews and have to agree with the "rocks my world" statement. It can be scary to confront the toughest issues of your life, but I have always leaped to higher levels by following Jessica's unique style of guidance.
Sometimes I go in with a certain idea about what I want to hear about and leave with a completely different set of priorities. I'm not sure if this is what the negative reviewer experienced, or if Jessica was just having an off day, but either way, it sounds like that was an exception rather than the rule. And I am not a personal friend of Jessica, FYI.
I would recommend being prepared to let go of any expectations and to accept the exciting dares that Jessica is notorious for assigning her clients. If you're looking for a standard, non-challenging counseling experience, perhaps this isn't your cup of tea.Listed in: Within Walking Distance

I've been to see Jessica twice and sent other friends to see her. She's helped me step back and see the big picture in my life, which helps a lot. Even if you don't believe in astrology you should go because she's crazy funny, scary smart, and no bullshit. You'll walk out with a few answers and a lot of interesting questions on your mind.
Oh, also FYI it's crazy expensive...at least to me it is. Runs around $90 bucks. I didn't want to say that at first because I didn't want to put people off of the experience. But I think it's important to note that this experience is worth it even at twice the price. No joke. -

This was an experience that I highly recommend to anyone that wants clarity.
Sometimes truth hurts, sometimes truth feels good, and that is what she is dishin'.
Her sessions use your astrology chart and her intuition to give answers to your questions. She also consulted the tarot deck during our session.
I recommend recording it if you feel comfortable since when I walked in I felt like I was put into a meditative state and there was a lot of information to take in, some of it was internalized, some of it would be worth hearing again.
She is young and fun and very good at what she does.

I wouldn't go back to Jessica. Had to wait 6 months for an appointment. After my session I had a question regarding our reading and she said I had to book another appointment which means another 6 month wait. No thanks plus she wasn't all that helpful.

I don't care how she does it. She's psychic. She's intuitive. Whatever. What's the difference anyways. I don't know how it works, but who cares. All I know is that she knew things about me that I've never verbalized or even shown to anyone else. Deeply emotional things. Things I've only been thinking to myself - and have not yet even put words to yet. (Which according to Jessica, is classic-me.)
She gave me solid advice that makes sense. Some stuff that I had already been thinking about doing, that she validated. Others that I never even considered, but know is what I need. And it's not hard either. Some little steps, some big steps. I'm so excited to put her advice in play.
If you're looking for parlor tricks, don't bother. If you're looking for real answers to how to direct your life. Jessica is your lady.
P.S. She is freakin hilarious. Makes the blow a lot easier. She just tells it to ya like you're talking to a friend that knows you on a really deep emotional level. Not like some of those weird psychics you go to where it's a smokey, cigarette filled room and she tells things to you that reads like a choose-your-own-adventure book pieced together incoherently. -

Wow. What can I say... my session with Jessica really blew my mind.
I was nervous about seeing her but she instantly made me feel at ease. She is able to hold that balance between being super warm and caring while still being very professional and skillful. Ms. Lanyadoo is very talented with her astrological and intuitive practice. She said a lot of things about me that no one knew -- in some instances she literally read me like a book. It was incredible. The best thing about my session with her was how positive and constructive she was, even when she knew what she was telling me was difficult for me to hear. I really appreciate that sort of thing.
My head is still spinning from the experience and even days later, I'm sorting it all out. It's nice that Jessica records the session so that you can revisit it when you're ready.

Jessica is a life saver.
I have gone to her twice a year, at least, for the last three years. I can honestly say that my life is better for it. I like to describe a session with her as "like therapy, but ten times better." I've left sessions feeling more grounded and secure about what's going good with my life, and more prepared for the rough spots. She's helped me understand myself and love myself better.
Sometimes I go in with a list of things to ask her; other times, I'll let her lead the way and tell me what she sees in my chart or what is in the cards. I record every session and put them on my ipod- and usually for the next week or so, I listen to that recording a few times and really make the lessons stick.
I can't recommend her services enough. On top of possessing this amazing intuitive talent, she is just a lovely and funny woman who you will enjoy spending an hour with.
Also, I always tip. I think it's good karma. -

I received information about Jessica Lanyadoo, and made an appointment, that was 3 months away, so I had a lot of time to get excited about my reading. I did my research and read the reviews on YELP. I have gone to numerous intuitives before.
I was very disappointed. She had my astrology chart on the screen beside me, she used tarot cards - but couldn't tell me anything that I didn't already know. I had many big events that were happening in my life that are life changing and she saw none of it. -

really enjoyed my 60 minutes with her. she is a funny interesting lady with her own language. very smart. great imagery that makes you remember what she says. i am so glad she refers to herself as a intuitive counselor instead of a psychic, so much more realistic.
I came with some specific questions/issues that have been sucking precious energy out of me. she stayed on point and on topic ( not easy for her type of work) gave me some VERY useful insight and suggestions that were practical! its been 3 months since i took her advice and im not regretting it.
this woman has a very genuine talent and i believe nothing is to "far out" or "woo-woo" for her.
i will see Jessica again. maybe mostly because im amused by her. -

Jessica is outstanding, and I was even more skeptical than usual since she did her reading/counseling over the phone. Before we even started, Jessica was bothered by some "dental problems" she was picking up on. As it turns out, I wear braces and one of my brackets had been rubbing against the inside of my lip, causing a lot of pain and some swelling. I was hooked!
As opposed to a general reading, I approached Jessica with specific questions, and she gave sound answers and tools to deal with the issues. What stands out in particular, was how clearly she identified some of the big issues in my husband's life, including a very private issue which I had no intention of mentioning, but she honed in on it. Being in a transitional period currently, I had some ideas in my head about different directions to go in, and Jessica was able to offer clarity, especially regarding the best next steps and the timing of certain issues. -

A few months ago I was chomping at the bit for my appointment to go see Jessica Lanyadoo. So many of my friends have gone to see her and came back at one with the cosmos. And who doesn't want that? So, I go to the appointment and was sorely disappointed that while Jessica may be a counselor, to my personality and situation, she was not at all intuitive. Practically everything that she suggested or intuited (sp?) was completely and totally wrong. In the last ten minutes I found myself saying that things were true which weren't just because I felt sorry for her.
1. You hated college, right?... um...... No. Loved it.
2. You don't like reading much, right? No. Voracious.
3. You were very close to your grandpa. Well... he answered the phone.
4. You're pretty much the top dog at your office? I get coffee at the same time of day as a few middle managers.
5. Your boyfriend is kinda girly? No. Though he does date a girl.
6. You have a lot of savings. (she probably thought that b/c the appointment cost so much) Nope.
Anyway, I'm not saying "don't go she sucks" what i'm saying is not everyone has a five star experience. But you might! So just consider all that before you fork over half a days pay. -

Jessica was at the Lex one night and just for kicks I paid $5 to get a reading. I'd never done it before, and I figured it would at least be interesting. I was skeptical of the whole thing so I didn't really tell her anything and just asked for a general reading. In 5 minutes she hit on a really raw nerve that I had been trying so hard to ignore. I was floored by what she said. I don't think I could say enough about how much respect I have for her. She's a sweetheart and laid back to boot. I highly recommend her.

JL is out of this world. It doesn't matter what you think about astrology/counseling. I've never been in counseling before and was definitely a bit skeptical when I went to her (a couples session- what can you say, women will make you do things... :) Anyway, I just think she is truly dope, has an amazing sense with people, and 1 hour of her wisdom is equivalent to, like, 8 hours with s-one in our usual human spectrum. I mean, she can talk: FAST. And there's no filler folks. So bring your blank cassettes and study them well. A hundred clams very well spent. Tighten your belt, skip a few meals, but don't miss trotting to her pad and paying homage to a spritely old soul with xtra special perceptual gifts!

I've had one meeting with Jessica, and it was great. I've met with several intuitive-types over the years, and she was one of the better ones. Not only was she sensitive about issues and certainly intuitive, but she was also funny and warm. Looking back over what she told me last year, most of it was right on. I like that she integrates astrology into her work too. I am planning on going back, once my budget allows for it. I highly recommend her if you are interested in an intuitive/astrological session.

Jessica Lanyadoo is amazing! A visit with her is like going to the supernatural therapist of your dreams. You leave her office with a deeper understanding of yourself and a stunned respect for her art. Astrology is real! So many of my little quirks and weirdnesses, not to mention to impulses that have created the bulk of my life, are astrologically based! I have made large life decisions based on her interpretation of the underlying astrological scene, and it has always been the right move. Her delivery is direct and funny and her office is an enchanting cabinet of curiosities, making the entire experience feel like you've dropped into some fabulous esoteric world and was gifted with revelations about yourself from a wise woman with super powers. And you have!

Jessica is amazing! Yes she is! I have had the pleasure of working with her for several years now and I cannot overstate the significance of her counsel in my life. I consider her expertise in all serious decisions in my life and she is always right on point. I have referred several friends to her and they all, each and every one, have had a profound experience in a session with her. Visiting Jessica is a gift we should all give ourselves on a regular basis. Who doesn't need a little help figuring life out?!

Jessica was the second counselor I went to in my life for astrology, and I was looking for new ways of interpreting a big shift of energy in my life. I was so impressed with her ability to identify the big changes in my life, and offer explanation of why that was happening for me, and she suggested ways of using this understanding to direct my actions in a way that would be positive and effective for myself and those around me. It was incredibly helpful and the consultation was affordable, and I am grateful for the time well spent. She is also a friendly, well grounded practitioner with a great office vibe, and I will recommend her with 5 Stars.

she is rad and has the cutest office that i could barely take in because i was completely enthralled by what she was saying.

Jessica is a gifted, caring, articulate counselor. She really helped me put some complicated questions into perspective. I appreciate that she doesn't provide answers, but actually helps you to think deeply for yourself about situations and feelings and motivations that may be troubling or difficult. Also, she has a great sense of humor, which is always a good thing!

Wow! What an hour well spent! Jessica intuited some deeply-held beliefs I have about myself and my life, and gave me practical ideas for working through my challenges. All this, and it was really fun, too! I recorded the session on my iPod and have listened to it twice already since yesterday to let it all sink in. Thank you Jessica!

more useful than my therapist! in fact, it really feels like therapy, except by someone who already understands what's going on with your life before you tell them. skeptics, your doubt will be vanquished! what a treat to yourself to spend an hour focusing on you, where you're at in life, and how best to move forward- with the help of someone who is professional, enthusiastic, and insightful. I have been having phone sessions with Jessica a few times a year for 5 years now, and it is always so centering and helpful.

Oh my effing god! Can I add ten more stars? This review is loooong over due. I have seen jessica I think 5 times in the last 2 years and I wish I could afford to see her weekly. Then everything would be o.k. I am currently in the throes of my first Saturn return( if you don't know what that is go see Jessica, she'll tell you all about it) and it is remarkably not as horrible as people told, thanks to Jessica. I do believe that this human is gifted she has always been right on with me and sometimes doesn't have anything "good" to tell me and I think those have been some of the most life changing sessions for me (seriously, life changing). And she's incredibly funny and comfortable to be around. I think ALL of my friends have seen her now and we get together and talk about "what Jessica had to say" It's kinda funny. I talked with someone about her the other day while passing the time at the city clinic do you get my drift? A reading with her is truly a profound experience.

Jessica Lanyadoo is completely amazing. She was recommended to me by a friend and that friend was recommended by a good friend and so on. Right before, I met with her another friend told me how impressed and amazed she was by Jessica. They were all right. She's friendly and professional and most of all friendly. This isn't the astrologer you see in the movies. Jessica is the kind of gal you wish was your best friend. I've recommended several of my friends to go see her or call her to talk to her. Unlike therapists, she doesn't just listen, she gives you amazing advice. She's kind of like a life coach who knows A LOT about you without you having to say much. She can do a lot with your birth date. Just talking to her put me a lot more at ease with where my life is heading. It is $90 a session but unlike something like a massage, you are so alert the whole time, it feels like the longest and greatest hour ever. In fact, there is so much information being stated, Jessica encourages you to audio record the session or take really good notes. Seriously. She's amazing. Before Jessica, I had never been to an astrologer and honestly, I would never talk to any astrologer except for Jessica! I've read the other reviews for Jessica and I can totally see how she helps people get their life together. I also want to note that Jessica is extremely OPEN-MINDED and queer-friendly. And if you meet with Jessica in-person as opposed to over the phone, her office if really cozy. Anyway, if you have always wanted an astrological reading to help you figure out what exactly the stars have in store for you and/or if you just need some guidance, Jessica Lanyadoo is where it's at. I can't recommend her enough. She also writes the weekly horoscopes for the SF Bay Guardian. I think she's probably booked like two weeks in advance, so call her n.o.w. xo

I got a tarot reading from Jessica almost 7 or 8 years ago when she was doing readings at the Lexington Club, I think it was once a week on Tuesdays or something like that. I don't quite remember the short reading I had (short because I was pretty short funded then and I think it was pay for how long you want the reading) but really remember the compassion and professionalism she had. I really enjoyed the reading and my friend at the time who was leaving to go back to Austria that next week had a reading the was dead on to what was going on for her. I'm sure that she's only gotten better since! Awesome reader!
