Jesse photographed portraits and "homes for sale" of my real estate business starting in 2003. His masterful command of the camera and photo editing software, at that time, created some very good looking business cards and flyers.
Today, he proves to be even better! Partnered with his wife Susan, the two conduct photo sessions that are both creative and fun. When my family and I came into their studio earlier this year, we found our experience to be relaxing and our final products to look natural.
Flippen Photography delivers a smooth process and great results! -

Last week our family of four, along with our minerature dachshund, had our very first family potrait taken at Flip's Photos. The owners, Jesse and Susan were very friendly, upbeat, and helped us to relax for our session. They knew just what to do to get our dog's attention (balls work!) so that she would look at the camera. Now - this is important - our dog, Tatiana, decided to take a leak on the floor while no one was watching! Susan and Jesse were so gracious.. they even told us about a cute baby boy who had a similar accident during his photo shoot. It says a lot about people when they care more about their customers' comfort than about the messes the "little visitors" have made.
I went to view our photos today, and they were outstanding! I sat on a comfortable couch and watched a slideshow of our family. Jesse was very patient with me as I requested to view them again and again - he was even able to put two side by side on the screen so that I could compare them. It took me awhile to choose the best ones, because they all were so good.
Flip's Photos doesn't just do regular photos - you can actually have the photo printed onto a canvas - or you can have it printed onto watercolor paper! The quality is outstanding.
In addition, I found out you can share your photo in all kinds of ways: mouse pads, cups, key rings, tote bags, puzzles.. I guess you could just go to their website for more on that: http://www.flipsphotos...

Some time ago I wrote this nasty review: "Jesse is a nice guy and talented. But he needs to get a clue. It's 2011. You can't have sitting fees and over charge for photos and hold the hi-res images hostage. Charge a reasonable rate, hand over the copyright. Welcome to the modern world. Folks, you should take some pics of your own and goto to an online service for printing. You'll get nearly the same result for 1/10 the price. Or you can encourage Jesse to change his pricing, and we can all make him more successful."
Jesse replied and changed his pricing and I'm going to give them another try. We've got a new puppy and need to update the family shot. All seven us will be there in matching wool sweaters. We had used them in the past and were generally please, but were unhappy with the pricing given the changes in how people produce and use media these days. We'll give him another shot. We recently did a family portrait studio sitting with Jessie. He was so great with the kids, getting them to laugh so they had natural smiles rather than fake staged expressions. In fact he had my husband and I laughing too. The result is a beautiful family photo that perfectly illustrates pure happiness. The whole experience, from the photo shoot to purchasing and picking up the prints was fun, easy, efficient, and very professional. We would definitely go back to Jessie Gabriel Photography and would recommend our friends to go there as well.

Wow, Flip's does such a perfectly beautiful job of capturing the unique personalities of those who are fortunate enough to sit for a portrait. The photos are beyond what I'd anticipated. I'd highly recommend their services to families looking for a perfect memento.

Finally got my girls in for a photo session. I was a bit nervous never having done a professional sitting with them. He was calm and worked patiently with me to get them into good poses and catch who they really are. When they acted up Jesse took it all in stride. Susan is great, too. Flip's is great! They have taken individual and group photos at our preschool for several years, and the quality of the pictures, customer service, and skill of the photographer is top-notch.
