Jersey Sweater

I am not usually the fashion forward type, so rarely do I get compliments on my wardrobe (okay, let's be real here, I never get compliments on my wardrobe). I was going to the Chargers game this past Sunday, and since it was my first game, I am embarrassed to say I didn't have any apparel. Total fail, I know. I was so going to be the awkward one wearing a generic blue t-shirt because I didn't have the right gear. Enter Jersey Sweater. I was able to procure myself a Chargers sweater before the game, total save.

I am not even kidding when I say I got a million complements on the sweater. Standing in line for the bathroom, "oh my God, where did you get your sweater?", drinking my beer at the tailgate, "awesome sweater!", sitting in the stands, "right on, that is an awesome sweater!", riding home on the trolley, "I love your sweater". I've never been so popular in my life, haha!

The sweater was also really nice to have when the ocean breeze started to blow through Qualcomm during the second half. I felt sorry for everyone in their shorts and t-shirts, they must have been chilly...

I wore my official jersey sweater to the Cowboys Thanksgiving game and it was an absolute hit! Strangers were coming up to me in the parking lot asking me where they could get their own jersey sweater. I was tailgating with a bunch of Philadelphia Eagles fans and they were asking me if I had any sweaters for them. Makes for a great conversation piece.

Also, I loved the fit! In the past, I have worn jerseys that were oversized (because I thought it was cool). Admittedly, I was somewhat skeptical about wearing a "sweater" to a game. But it was great! The jersey sweater provides a "throwback" look that was unmatched by anyone at the game. I look forward to getting sweaters for friends and family this holiday season. Great product!

I bought beanies for myself and my two best friends and I have to say that they are the coolest things I've ever gotten! I love the reindeer aspect of it :P It's a total conversation starter! On top of that the jersey sweaters are awesome gifts for my sports fan friends and family! A must!

I got my first official jersey sweater a couple of weeks ago, and I love it! For me, sports fashion was limited to over sized jerseys and spandex, that was until I learned about the Jersey Sweater. I personally love the soft material they are made out of and the cool retro look they have. Every time I wear it I get compliments from everyone, I love my sweater!

I purchased it at the end of the last football season, so anxiously awaited the opportunity to wear it when this season kicked off and the weather cooled off. I've now sported it while watching two games and at each one, I've had several people ask how and where to get a sweater. Comments range from, "..how retro-cool!" to "..I'll pay you twice what you paid for it!"
Seriously.
I had one person offer to pay me double for it! I've only had that happen one other time-- at a KISS concert when I was wearing my husband's t-shirt from one of the band's shows in the 70's!
Nope, as a good fan, I kept my sweater on.. and told him how to buy his own!

I took my Deerstyle hat on a recent trip home to Cape Cod. It was 28 degrees and snowing, but the hat kept me feeling warm (and looking cool) every day. I put it to the test on my last morning there, when I wore it on a cold beach jog with my Dad. Usually hats fall over my eyes and slip over my eyes as I warm up, but the Deerstyle kept its shape, kept me warm, and made the morning run more fun.

I recently wore my Green Bay Packers (Go Pack!!!) sweater while watching the GB/Bears game. While using the bathroom, I literally had a woman in the stall next to me commenting on how much she loved the retro look of my sweater and wanted to know where I found it. She must have really liked it since she carried on a conversation with me the entire time she was handling her business. Luckily for her I had one of First Round Dratf business cards with me in my wallet!!!

I know what you are thinking, you live in San Diego, what do you need a sweater for? Believe it or not, it gets cold here. Well, in the 30s which is cold for us and no matter where you come from, don't tell me you wouldn't at least have a sweater on in 30 degree weather. With that being said, I love my Jersey sweater!
I am a born and bred Chargers fan. Lived in SD my whole life. I am now a part of a Chargers fan group called The Frightening Lightning. You can find us at every home game in section F3. During one of our epic tailgates, we see a dude wearing a kick-ass #17 Chargers sweater which looks like Rivers jersey but in sweater form. My friend Brad and I are interested. "Hey man, where did you get that kick ass sweater?" Low and behold, this kid had a cooler, that he was pulling along, filled with them. Sometimes our beloved Rivers makes me a little angry so I asked if he had any other numbers. 85?!? Oh yeah. Love me some Gates. Brad and I were in. Brad with the 17 and myself with 85. Granted, it was not the coldest day of the year but whatevs, we knew we would eventually need them during the season.
I love my #85 sweater. Besides my Frightening Lightning t-shirt or my Chargers jersey, it is all I bring with me to the game or sport during the away winter games.
I hear they come in all sorts of NFL and college football teams (www.jerseysweater.me) but who cares? It all about the BOLTS, baby!

The humping deer is hilarious, its the life of the party. The best part is when someone realizes that its more than just a sweater or a beanie.... BAM!!! their expression is priceless when they realize the two deers are humping, It does not get better than that. Owner of business were so fun and friendly, I actually ran into them here in a bar in San Diego around xmas and recognized the sweater. I really cannot wait til its cold enough to wear my beanie again! Awesomazingideaever!
