Quite unique and interactive (the word is now misused for unreal games and comp apps). Not very expensive. Excellent staff makes the entire experience for kids memorable.

My 4 and 8 year old had a great time. They dress them up and do tattoos and all. The small boat ride in good weather is in itself pays for itself.

Such a fun time for children and family to experience. Kids were so involved and attentive. Would recommend to anyone looking to try something fun and different .

Just book it. End of review. I kid. But seriously, this was an amazing time for our kids (3 and 4). Honestly, I had an amazing time too. This was so much fun for our girls and every other kid on board. We went on a Monday morning where it was $5 off per passenger, which was nice, but even then regular price is absolutely worth it.

The two guys on our trip, Spike and Gill were great, so good with the kids and I really appreciate the solid adult humor as well. My kids got soooo into this and were talking like pirates all day. From shooting the water cannon, to pirate tattoos before boarding it was just so much fun. Every time my girls see a buoy now they think it's treasure. The kids get some "grog" and treasure and they loved it.

I don't know how I found them, but I am so glad I did. This is a wonderful family friendly activity. I will say it gets crowded with the parents on board trying not to be in each others way while grabbing photos. We are already looking at booking a birthday party here. The gift shop is also not obscenely priced which is good because you know you aren't walking away without a sword or something.

Be sure to bring some extra booty/cash to tip the crew. I would also say kids over say age 8 may not have as much fun as others, but still a great time.

Amazing staff. We take our camp of special needs kids ages 8-21 there every year and they always have a blast. Their staff is so kind & patient. 10/10

Fantastic experience!! The boat trip was excellent and the staff was humorous and went out of their way to make the day wonderful for all! I appreciated the "adult jokes". My daughter is already asking when we can go back!

What an amazing experience for all ages!!

For starters, I had missed the entrance and was a bit confused. With no hesitation an employee guided me right back on track while over the phone until I was sure to be on site.

Employees from the minute we walked in were so heartwarming and helpful. Each one was in full character as they guided parents and played with kids.

We boarded the boat with two pirates. Wish I caught their names! Those to gals were awesome!! I was just so excited and amazed at how engaging they were with everyone! The jokes were great as we laughed from the minute we stepped on the boat to the minute we stepped off. Every child got to participate in the adventure. Even for shy kids, such as one of mine, they still manage to find a way to get her to be a part of the team. Aside from being hands on adventurous, kids receive a goodie bag and a pirate drink. Nice touch to the ending.

The decor on the boat and on land is superb! Being a Jersey Pirate is a complete fun filled adventure! Until our next adventure mate! Arrrr!

So much fun!! The pirates had great commentary and were very engaging, the adults and children were all entertained. The water cannons were great! Everyone was mask compliant and hand washing stations, sanitizer available to make everyone comfortable during COVID. My daughter is already asking to go back. Definitely recommend!

We took our grandson to Jersey Shore Pirates. What a great day at Jersey Shore Pirates! From start to finish the staff is wonderful. Starting with my wife's initial contact to email exchanges to reservations were all handled easily and professionally.

You are asked to arrive a 1/2 hour before departure time. You walk into a small yard where you are greeted by staff members. There the kids can have their faces painted or receive tattoos. There's also a trunk filled with costumes for the kids to wear. After the face painting a staff member gets the little Pirates together for some pirating lessons.

We then boarded the pirate ship to start our adventure. The young pirate crew are typically ages 3 to 11 and were ably Led by Captain Mako and First Mate Pearl. The young crew are kept busy from the time we leave the dock to the return.

From searching for the pirate map and keys to the treasure chest on the ship. Or, searching for the X on the river to recovering pirate booty from the river, the young pirates were totally engaged.

The pirate ship is equipped with water cannons on both sides which came in handy for the sea battle with the dangerous Pirate Pete. The crew rose to the occasion during the pitched battle and was victorious. The crew shared in the pirate booty when they recovered the pirate chest from the water.

The weather was beautiful, the river calm and the Jersey Shore Pirates in charge of our journey. It was just a wonderful day. I can't say enough about our experience here.

There was music playing during the entire trip. Much of it timed to the activity at hand. Reservations are strongly recommended!

Celebrated my sons 4th birthday party and overall we all had a great time except for the lack of communication from the pirates! I feel as though they could have done better with communicating with our party.

When we arrived, we were told that each kid (within our party) would get a sword and a pirate hat. We were told where they had to go to get them. After this the pirates were supposed to do face painting and a skit before boarding the boat; well the pirates started the skit without telling us all to gather around. I, being the birthday day party mom, was never told about the face painting so that I can then tell the kids within our party. I then, go to the counter and ask the lady at the counter about the face painting and she said that the kids should have gotten it done before the skit and that they were told. Nobody in our party seemed to know that they could get face painting. Considering the amount of money that they charge for a party, you would think that they would communicate better. Other than the lack of communication; the skit and boat ride were really cute and worth it. The party room was roomy and the entire place decorated really cute!
