3 reviews for Jersey Mike's Subs
I'm not used to sandwiches; I'm used to hoagies, and Jersey Mikes is the closest I've found so far. I usually go with the giant turkey and Swiss, done "Mike's Way." They do not hold back with their fresh sliced meats and cheese. Then they pile on the peppers, lettuce, onion, tomato, vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and oregano. Yum! The rolls aren't bad, although I prefer something much crustier that can stand up to the dressing. Prices are great.
I used to go here weekly when I worked in Edgewater for two years. Good meat selection, nice large sandwiches and good prices. They even serve good steamed clams, considering you're inland and not so close to the ocean.
These are not quite what I gre up oin in NJ biut they are OK. Better than Subway but what's that really worth. The positives are the meat is sliced to order unlike Subway and Quiznos. This keeps things fresher. They understand that mayo does not marry well with itlaian meets and default to oregeno and red wine vinegar and oil. The bread is the weak spot. Basically Wonder Bread like rolls instead of the crusthy rolls you'd get at an indie place in Jersey.
