This is the best BBQ I've had in WA. As a Seattle native, I'm no bbq connoisseur but Jeremiah's is so freakin' good. It kills me that it's 2 hours away, including a ferry ride!?! I've been coming to the Peninsula for work quite a bit and stumbled upon this place and it's fantastic. Whenever I'm in town, Jeramiah's is what we plan our day around. It's down home, comfort food that is absolutely scrumptious. I get the same thing every time - ribs with fried okra and leave a very happy person. Do not miss this place if you are on the Peninsula.

Very inconsistent food. Lunch Special Combo's were very stingy on the Meat Portion. Once got a Whole Roasted Chicken to Take Home it was almost RAW inside. They want to argue about it when I took it back!?
The staff/owners are NOT very friendly people, we have eaten here and take out 6+- times hoping it would get better, never did, we don't go there any more. -

Really, really, really good. Really.
We had the chicken and ribs, the meat just falls off the bone. I'm drooling just thinking about it. -

We were on vacation on the Olympic Peninsula this past week and went over to Victoria on the ferry from Port Angeles. We got off the ferry around 6:30 pm and decided we needed to eat somewhere in the area before taking the long trek back to Hoodsport where we were staying. We happened onto Jeremiah's BBQ because of one of us having a phone that would give Yelp ratings and decided to stop and eat there just before 7 pm. There were six of us in the group and we were seated and served by a really nice lady who made us feel very comfortable. We were unaware that Jeremiah's closed at 7 pm but our server told us that it was perfectly fine and she waited on us with great enthusiasm even though we had entered the place 5 minutes before closing time.
We ordered entrees and beer and everthing was great. I personally decided to try the Greek salad with roasted lamb and it was really exceptional. I love lamb and try to have it whenever I can. I was not disappointed in it at all. The others in our group had variations on brisket or fish and chips and all were satisfied with their food.
Two of us in the group are from Texas so we think we know barbeque. Three others are displaced Texans living in the west and they think they know it too. So, speaking for 5/6 of our group, we were very impressed by the barbeque and other foods served to us. The other 1/6 of the group was impressed too but she is just not a Texan so she may know barbeque but not on the level with those of us from Texas (at least that is the thinking around Texas).
Thanks to our great server. She explained how they got Shiner Bock beer on the menu too which is from Shiner, Texas. She was an exceptional server and exceptionally friendly. -

Oh my goodness where to start everything was absolutely wonderful! Lots of great choices on sauces and food! Down home cooking served by your favorite "Mom"! End it with the peach cobbler or pecan pie and you have a home run!!!

After taking the 10 mile round trip on the Dungeness Spit (highly recommended by the way!) let's say I was just a little bit hungry ; ) I rolled into Jeremiah's and I can say that I would have enjoyed their food even if I wasn't famished.
It's a fairly small place but it was almost empty when I went. Ribs were very tasty and they gave you a nice portion. One really neat thing is the sauces are there at the table and you can choose which one to use and how much. I tried a little bit of everything : )
I wanted to go back but I ran out of time on vacation and didn't make it back. But I'd love to go back to both the spit and Jeremiah's sometime. -

Good BBQ at good prices, with good service you cant go wrong.
The space and building are old and dated but clean its and defiantly worth a visit. -

Totally fresh and homemade daily.
The meats are slow-cooked and done without sauce.
Crisp slaw, good beans, and soft, fresh, corn muffins.
Four kinds of inventive sauces lets the eater pick 'n choose.
Friendly, attentive service.
Good prices and value.
I'll return! -

Not a bad place at all...
Start with I don't like really smoky BBQ but this place was good. Not like I will be craving it or anything but it wasn't bad. Liked that the sauce was on the side and I could add as much as I wanted. Corn bread was a little dry but the onion rings and beer battered fries were pretty good.
Good place to stop for dinner. On a note the place was deserted around 4:30pm on Saturday afternoon. By the time we finished several people had come in and lots of to go orders had been called for. So just cause the lot is empty, don't pass it up.
Would recommend to friends and family. -

Jeremiahs is the premium in BBQ. The gold standard when I go to any other place and all further reviews will be based on pleasurable experiences here. Mike and Kris Hallas are certified BBQ judges and their skills are evident from every plate. See you guys next time. beer battered fries...that's all i'm gonna say

We have a get away home in the Sequim/Dungeness area that we visit at least one weekend a month. For us, no weekend there is complete without a meal from Jerimiah's. This is REAL BBQ, people. Cooked low and slow and not smothered in some too-sweet sauce at the end. Pick your own sauces (the vinegar based one is our fav) and use as much or little as you like. The pulled pork, brisket, ribs and chicken are all outstanding.
As Honey mentioned, the sides are all tasty too, and the owners and counter people are very friendly.
Enjoy! -

This is REAL DEAL BBQ! Mike is an excellent, and very friendly, pitmaster who completely understands the balanced approach. Good balance between smoke flavor, spice rub flavor, meat flavor, and sauce flavor. Fortunately for him, I live in Southern California so he really doesn't have to worry about me showing up in my truck, throwing a chain around his entire piece of property (with him and his beautiful Southern Pride smoker included) and dragging this glorious smokey operation home with me.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the meats here, especially the ribs....BUT the sides leave something to be desired. If the sides were better they would get another star!

The pulled pork was absolutely melt-in-your mouth amazing. I almost gave five stars just for that. But I wasn't blown away by any of the bbq sauces. It was fun to try out different sauces -- they have about a half dozen sauces from different regions-- but I think it's sort of telling that they aren't choosing an allegiance with the sauce. There just isn't any standout. Also annoying is that they take your beer away an hour before closing. I think they are misreading the law--worth a closer look. I also didn't care for the beans, which sort of tasted like Mexican-style refried beans to me. I have to say though, I am not generally a baked beans fan. Anyway, all that stuff isn't really what matters in a BBQ place: the meat here rocks. Come and eat it, carnivores! Service was super friendly and the peach cobbler was yummy. If you have kids in tow, ask for the kids menu selections--there's no written menu but they have hot dogs and chicken tenders.

This tiny place probably seats 20 and you would think nothing of it if you drove by. Don't let the small appearance fool you. This place has some of, if not the best BBQ I've had. They are usually busy and if possible, order ahead. This place is a nice local secret and I have yet to see any tourist inside.

Good Food, good value...Slaw was very good, beans ok...Baby Backs were a little lacking in a strong flavor...the hot link was good and spicy.
** Warning they close at 7PM, so the they were out of corn muffins when I got there at 6:45...also I think that the food may have been more moist had I eaten earlier. I would eat there again. -

The barbeque here is surprisingly good. Who would have thought that someone would make good smoked meats, almost Texas barbeque style, in the middle of nowhere in western Washington. The Brunswich stew is also very good. It is not something that can be found at a barbeque shop in Texas but it has very nice flavor and if ordered spicy, demonstrates that the cook is not afraid to tone down the heat to satisfy the masses. The hush puppies and other sides are pretty good as well except the fried jalepeno rings taste more of the grease and batter than the pepper. I suggest that the cook make pepper rings out of poblano peppers and batter and fry them if the place wants to offer something along these lines rather than just buy whatever the distributor is selling. A cornmeal batter on those pepper rings would be the most appropriate batter. I suspect that the hush puppies also come straight from a supplier rather than be something that is made from scratch but they are fine. On the other hand, it would also be nice to be able to go somewhere in Clallam county that makes handdipped onion and pepper rings. That would be really special and given the high quality of the meats here, homemade side dishes are appropriate.
