If you've got short hair, this is the woman you want to trust your head to. She has short hair herself and totally understands its allure. Trained at Vidal Sassoon in London, Jennifer cuts hair like a sculptor, studying the way your hair grows and taking away excess hair, bit by bit. Short as my hair is, she takes a full hour to cut it. The cut lasts 5 weeks without ever getting unruly. My hair looks simple, elegant, feminine and very well-integrated with the rest of me. It takes just minutes to do, even if I want to use product for something a little more elaborate. It's easily the best cut I've ever gotten. The salon is very pleasant, too--small, quiet and relaxing.

I love, love, love my new haircut! Jennifer spends a great deal of time talking to you about your lifestyle and has a great sense of what will look good on your head. I told her that my biggest fear was that I would look like a golf ball on top of a barrel. She gave me a short, sassy cut that is flattering for my face, body and lifestyle.
She is also an amazing colorist.
I live in the City and Sausalito is a bit of a schlep for me and she's totally worth it. If you don't know what kind of cut or color to get and you need someone with a good eye and idea of what will work, Jennifer is your gal. Plus, she's just plain nice, ADORABLE and loves to laugh (was that the wine talking?) -

I've been looking for a good stylist I can trust and stick with for the past 5 years. None of the stylists I've gone to before understood what I wanted nor did I ever get that sense that they were knowledgeable enough. I thought I would never find a stylist I love until I found Jennifer. Hallelujah! I didn't find a good stylist, I found a GREAT stylist! The moment I sat on the chair I felt instantly comfortable and felt like I was in very good hands. She explained to me what type of hair I have and how it works, which hairstyles would work for me and which won't. The first time I went to her I arrived with a particular type of haircut in mind. We talked about it, finally deciding on the best cut that would work for me. It was a collaboration. She listened to what I wanted and I listened to her suggestions. In the end, I got a cut I love and gained a keeper for a stylist. I've gotten so many compliments (from strangers, family and friends) on my different cuts. Truly makes me feel I made the right decision in going to her. I'm definitely going back for years to come. Thanks Jennifer!

History
Established in 2001
Salon LoJe was established in 2001. My main goal was to provide a beautiful, private and happy environment for my customers and to give each individual client a tailor-made, flattering look that is easy to maintain. The other goal was to make the salon feel more like someone's very comfortable living room. Men typically love the waiting room where they can relax and read. The main room is more lively and everyone feels comfortable there as well. There is a great deal of privacy and a lovely view of the park. It was an ideal place to create a business!

My journey in this profession began in San Francisco where I trained with one of Vidal Sassoon's top educators. After 3 years I began working in Marin County and also continued my studies with Vidal Sassoon in London.
