So I never thought about going to a Cosmetology School to get my hair, nails, or facial services done until I started school myself! It is such a good idea!! You really get great services and the students are always so nice and easy to talk with. There is always an instructor on hand for any questions, so there is never a botched job. I get chemical peels here, which are only $30 a visit...they are GREAT!!! You really do get a relaxing service at 1/2 to even 3/4 the price at a salon or spa!! I would definitely recommend Jenissa to anyone who wants to try something different with their hair or just wants a facial, and is strapped on cash.
Oh...and definitely tip the students!!! They do not recieve any type of compensation...and most are here full time which does not allow for a job, so tips are usually the only income!!! -

I went to Jenissa for awhile while my friend was trying to get her esthician hours in. Also, I'm always eager for a bargain, so it seemed like a win/win situation. For $20 on Tuesdays, you get a full facial. The students have gone through training, and I always felt I had a very professional experience. Remember to tip--the students get to keep it.

I love this place for pedicures. You can't beat it for less than $20. Sure, there's no fancy chair, but otherwise it's the full treatment.
