Jen Walker is fantastic. Full stop.
When my family and I were looking to buy a bigger house in our Del Ray neighborhood last year, we immediately looked to Jen Walker for help. We needed to sell our house for top-dollar and secure a new, larger home under (fairly tight) budgetary considerations.
Jen did not disappoint us. She priced our home aggressively and sold it in less than three weeks! During that time, she held several open houses and gave us a ton of one-on-one special attention. She was part-Realtor, part-counselor, part-friend: she gave us great advice on a temporary rental, held our hands through our first time as sellers and gave us good, solid, objective advice as we headed towards closing.
As we looked to purchase a larger home in the neighborhood, Jen helped us identify a great deal on a home that had been sitting on the market for awhile. Her understanding of the local real estate market helped us secure the house at significantly below the asking price-- and her unparalleled knowledge of Del Ray gave us the inside scoop on planned development immediately around our new home that made us confident in our ability to grow our new home's value. Jen is THE expert in her field. She knows the Alexandria neighborhood better than anyone. Our family needed to make a move quickly since we were expecting our second child. She priced our house aggressively but with knowledge and confidence. It sold quickly and we were also able to make a smooth transition into a new house within a few weeks.
