I, too, am a follower of Tracy. I've been going to her for years and no matter what I want done (I like to switch it up a bit) she listens.
Even recently, when my hair was growing out of a yuko "straight perm", she managed to make it look cute. Not an easy task when the roots are as kinky as mine! The lady is truly talented and never fails to to impress me.
The salon itself is relaxing and in a great neighborhood for shopping and dining. Coming to Jeffrey Kara Salon is a treat -- why not make an afternoon of it?
I discovered this salon while shopping @ H&M a couple of months ago. I walked in and was taken care of right away. Since then I have tried every stylist there and every time my hair looks GREAT! It's clean and the service is exceptional, especially for the price $50 blow drys. You can't beat that.
The only reason i went here was because my hair lady had switched to this salon and it was so small loud and crowded! Just a horrible set up! To get there its such a pain and takes forever! I must admit that the shampoo ladies were amazing and sooooo NICE! I really am going to miss them since my hair lady has now switched salons! Another good thing is that Ketchup is right next to it.. but really other then those 2 things i dont suggest you go here! The price is way too expensive for this place!

He is a really good hair stylest. Very friendly and talkative Jeffrey made me feel very comfortable when i first walk in his beauty salon for a blow dry appointment.
I have a long hair and i paid $ 50 bucks for a blow dry- not bad at all.
The Lady the washed my hair also gave me a neck massage that was great. Been a brunette i have no need to color my hair so i can't judge him in that aspect , but i saw a lot of Blondie girls having their hair done with him, so he must be good in that too.
My guy friend had a roots done and paid $160, for it.
Well i am going back to get my hair done with Jeffrey pretty soon.
Jeffrey has been cutting my hair for years, and it's so awesome to NOT look like I just came out of Fantastic Sam's. Everyone loves my awesome 'do.
Great guy, very funny and friendly.
Jeffrey is tops at color. He's innovative and listens to your thoughts. I've had colorists in New York, Boston, San Francisco & LA including people listed as the best in the world. Now that I've found Jeffrey there's not need to go anywhere else. Another plus is that he and the staff work to get you in based on your schedule.
Love the salon. Love Jeffrey.
Kara is the best hair stylest I've ever had! She knows her color, her cuts and can just look at you and knows exactly what you need. I've been going to Kara for almost a decade and fly down from San Francisco just for the cut!
