4 reviews for Jefferson Park Golf Club
Average municipal inner-city golf course. Not especially challenging by any means, fairly flat (easily walkable), no real obstacles (a few sand traps here and there). Good course for beginners, seasonal golfers and kids. If you're a decent golfer looking for a somewhat challenging course within the city, try West Seattle instead.
It's easy to get to, and you don't have to travel much to find it. It's nice for a quick afternoon of 9/18 holes if you just simply have the itch to play golf, but don't want to pay big bucks for some holes.
They do have a driving range, putting green, as well as an additional executive 9-hole, par-three course.
Fair price on accessories such as balls, gloves. I paid about $1.50 less for a sleeve of balls than I would have at a lot of other locations.
Originial home course of tour golfer Fred Couples, which is pretty cool.

A great place for Golf. Newly designed Driving Range! Great place to be!
They have 18 holes, as well as 9 holes par three as well. First Tee Program is here as well. Randy is a great guy that runs the program.
Despite being directly under the flight path for planes landing at Sea-Tac, this is a lovely place to drink some tall boys and play 9 par three holes! There are some beautiful views from the top of Beacon Hill on a sunny evening, and the course is old enough to have some older well established trees (but not too many of 'em). Across the street from the full 18 hole course is the Par Three course, which is what my knowledge is limited to. The greens are very well maintained and cushy. The tees aren't so great, being made of fake turf and sand. Not easy to cram a tee into that. I realize it's wussy to tee it up on a par three, but I stink at golf and really need all the extra help I can get.
On the 8th hole, we could see a plethora of ladies up on the lawn bowling court. It was packed at 8pm on a Wednesday! I don't know what lawn bowling is, but they looked like they were having a fabulous time, with a full set of Olympic mountains behind them. There's also a driving range, a playground, a clubhouse with snacks and beverages ($2.50 for 16 oz High Lifes), and even a dude selling cherries in the parking lot. Something for everyone. I played really well, too, so I am a big fan of Jefferson.

The food there is great and affordable. The golf course is a nice green where you can play on. There's also another rage across the street with plenty of space. The putting green in front of the building is great for kids to learn!
