I stayed at a hotel along Rt. 66 in Williams on my way to the Grand Canyon. Noticed this little place across the street and figured we'd try it out. Nice staff - cute little place - they have the miles posted to diff areas on the wall - lots of different choices of coffee drinks, it really looks like they know what they're doing! I wanted something chocolatey/ mocha so the mocha drink was recommended. I loved it - it was delicious and I tried to make it last for as long as I could! Free sample of cinnamon donuts too! Def stop in if you get a chance!!

Don't be fooled by the location
The iced Mocha is as good as Peets
If not better.
I live in LA and NY and this is a superb espresso -

Ok, so 5 stars is relative to the location. This is THE best bet for coffee in town. They'll do soy lattes or whatever you like. They've got a pc and mac computer station. And they make homemade cinnamon doughnuts. Mmmmm. Nice people.
I swear I asked a local where the espresso shop was, and I SWEAR, she said, "Espresso..., is that that fancy coffee?"
God Bless JD for going for it in this town. -

During my visit to the Grand Canyon, I stayed next door to JD's and enjoyed their friendly service and excellent vanilla latte's three mornings in a row. The warm donuts smelled good but I didn't indulge since I'm watching my diet. The shop is inviting, sparkly clean and full of fun. I loved the train that encircles the shop walls and the excellent painted mural behind the train tracks. I saw other customers enjoying the use of the cafe's computers. If you are in Williams, Arizona, be sure to drop by JD's for a chat and dynamite coffee.

Nice place. Good donuts and coffee and cappuccino. My hiking buddy thinks 4 stars is generous, but we'd just spent the week drinking coffee made in a Nalgene bottle, and I am not about to complain. Plus he lives in Seattle and is a bit sanctimonious about his coffee. I like a good cup of coffee, especially after nearly freezing to death in the Grand Canyon, and I guess I'm easy to please. So go to Seattle if you want sanctimonious coffee, but go to JD's if you're in Williams, AZ, and you're cold.
