Went here with the Bride since she lives in the area and the place was convenient. The lady, owner of the place, was the one who did my mani/pedi. She was nice and friendly and did a great job. My cuticles were cleaned and and the dry spots on my feet were buffed away. Great leg and hand massage to boot. Their whole family was working that day and they seemed friendly and chatty with their customers. Great price for the service.
I did see the workers disinfect all the tools used on me and after me. They repacked everything into the baskets as soon as they finished disinfecting them. Also, they scrubbed and cleaned the pedicure station so at least I know they sanitize their equipment. I can't comment on the wax treatment room. -

I went here a few days ago to get a mani and pedi since it is right across the street from my house. I felt good about it since the girls who did them actually spoke english. I had asked to get the acrylic taken off my nails ($8). The girl took them off but did not file them down or use the machine. So, when she did the manicure, It looked all lumpy. They did a decent job on the pedicure but I think I could have done a better job myself with the mani. The pedi was $15 and the mani $10. The prices are good, but it would be better if you actually had decent work along with it. Would I come back here again, maybe, if I was in a rush and had nowhere else to go.

I was a HUGE fan of this place. It was convenient and I thought it was clean.. I came here enough that the girls new me by name and the hubby too! I felt welcomed here but with my last visit.. gross... the girl picked an old dirty nail filer AND buffer from the garbage can. I couldn't believe my eyes. (1) that is NOT sanitary, (2) I thought maybe I deserved more since I was a loyal customer. (3) they offered no apologies after I brought it to their attention that items from the garbage bin are DIRTY.
When I had my pedicure done, they recycled the pumice stone. You can still see the old skin scrapings from the last person, except it was stained blue from the antiseptic solution. Freakin' nasty.
It breaks my heart, I really did like this place.
I'm sorry, I'm not coming back here.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Since I am new to the area I decided to visit the Nail shop around the corner. BIG mistake. The sign and front area appear clean, but the grime becomes apparent when you sit at a table or in the spa chair. I had to ask the lady doing my nails to wipe the cuticle clipper before starting on my hands, since they already had someone else's skin on them. It was awful! Also, the lady stepped on my freshly polished big toe while we were sitting at her table! She shrugged and wiped the nail off, not caring that the whole toe turned red with polish and added another cote, without a top cote!
It was awful and I will never go back! Walk the extra 3 blocks and go to Nail #1 at Bayfair Shopping center next to Michael's Craft store. It is worth the distance and the difference in cleanliness! -

this is one of the worst nail shops you could possibly go to!! They are not professional and are VERY ill-mannered, not to mention judgmental as f***. On the outside, the place looks clean, but on the inside it's disgusting! I went here for a mani & pedi & a bikini wax, after the mani & pedi (which was less than mediocre) I was directed to go inside to a table area for the wax..where I noticed pubic hairs underneath the friggin table! I don't know about you, but I don't want to get a wax down there and walk out with people's disgusting hairs stuck to me. So I got up and told them I was in a hurry, paid for my mani & pedi, and never came back!!
Try the nail shop at Bayfair Mall, I forgot the name but it's near Michael's and Ross, they are so much more friendly and my nails turned out great there.
Seriously, if I could, I'd give them 0 stars, but I HAVE to give them 1 star, so 1 star it is. -

I have tried a few nail places and I really like this one. My mother and sister have been loyal customers for more then 2 years. It's a short drive for me, and I pass other places to get there. Great customer service and highly skilled. I was there 2 weeks ago and the lady who did my nails free-handed a really adorable flower design on two of my nails. I am a repeat customer!! Would recommend!!

Worst experience ever and I would NOT recommend this place to ANYONE. So let me tell you: I have been to this place twice and my first time was bad but not as bad as my second time. During my first visit, which was when they just opened, I decided to check this place out and got myself a manicure and a pedicure. My pedicure was average but my manicure was HORRIBLE. It hurt so bad that I was unable to move my fingers because apparently he scraped/cut very very deep when he tried to remove my cuticles.
SECOND EXPERIENCE was THE WORST. I go in there for a FACIAL and a lip and EYEBROW WAX. The facial was so bad that I felt like I shouldn't have paid for it because all she did was massage my face with cream and clean it off with warm towels over and over again. I did not feel any scrubbing or anything of that sort and she was massaging my head as if I was paying for a head massage, which was NOT the case. I didn't even feel like she remove any blackheads or steamed my face enough.
So the waxing tops off this horrendous experience. She waxed my eyebrows and left me EYEBROWLESS. I do not know if that;s a word, but YES PEOPLE, she removed MY WHOLE ENTIRE EYEBROW, my RIGHT EYEBROW. I HAD ONE EYEBROW ONLY!! So I tell her how bad it looked and she asks me "do u want me to make your eyebrow look like your other one so it looks the same?" I WAS LIKE WTH?? OMG! is she retarded...obviously I DO NOT WANT THAT..I NEED EYEBROWS...
This gets worse..that BITCH ended up charging me for EVERYTHING even though they saw me super upset. The owner's daughter even agreed with me that her employee did a horrendous job with my eyebrows and stood there without saying anything. She said, "just wait for it to grow back." EXCUSE ME, YOUR EMPLOYEE FUCKED UP BIG TIME AND YOU'RE STILL GOING TO CHARGE ME and TELL ME TO BE PATIENT TIL MY EYEBROW GROWS BACK?????? what kind of shit is that???
I WALKED OUT OF THIS PLACE WITH ONE EYEBROW AND AN OILY FACE.
IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THESE THINGS DO NOT GO HERE..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THE EMPTY PARKING LOT AND EMPTY PLACE SHOULD BE A SIGN. -

This is the only place I get my pedicures from. Despite those two reviews, for the 3 years I've been there, this place has been sanitary and well-mannered. The price is just right and they do a great job. I go to Oan (pronounced "one") and she does the best out of all of the girls. When I do get my manicures, her hand painted "French" manicure is the best. My sister recommended this place to me and I haven't gone anywhere since. I am yet to be disappointed.

I have gone here several times for my mani and pedi. So far I have no problem. I only see the owner. She is very nice and always very friendly. The only thing I don't like is that if you want to get a design on your toes they don't know how to do them, However the massage that you get is all worth it.

Every couple of months I go in because a home made mani pedi will not do the trick. I have been coming to this place for years and I can tell you -- that yes it use to be not the nicesdt place to go. BUT they switched owners and workers about a year a go, closed the doors and remodeled and cleaned up. MUCH nicer and cleaner now. Also they are gentle to your hands and cuticles.
