This is my 4th year working with Jay Siegan and each year has been wonderful! The staff is great - they are very responsive, and follow through on everything. We have used Wonderbread 5 several times and the Cheesballs and both bands have been great to work with and a ton of fun! I would highly recommend using Jay Siegan for weddings, corporate events, or a private party.

JSP helped our org, Combat Against Cancer, throw our 3rd annual date auction at Red Devil Lounge this past weekend. We weren't sure what to expect when putting an event inquiry in, but Jay's professionalism, helpfulness, and friendliness won our team over.
This venue was perfect for our needs, and Jay made sure that we were in open communication throughout the planning and execution process. The entire Red Devil Lounge staff was so kind, fun, and helpful and really made everything go off without a hitch. Notorious was scheduled to play after our date auction, and Jay was awesome enough to let our guests stay as a benefit of attending the auction (so nice!).
This year, JSP really took our date auction to a different level and raised the bar for our future events. We raised a whopping $12k -- a new record for a C.A.C event -- and everyone seemed to love the vibe of the venue, the drinks, the band, everything! I'm also a super detail oriented person (to the point where i might and probably will ask the same question 5 times, 5 different ways), and Jay was super patient and accommodating with our requests and needs.
I loved working with Jay, the JSP team and RDL and will do it again in a heartbeat. -

Review for POP ROCKS! There are not words to describe how amazing these guys are. Pop Rocks recently played at our wedding in December at the Bently Reserve. Our journey with pop rocks started many months ago going and listening to different bands for our wedding, and since then we have become groupies and have seen as many shows as we can from Red Devil to Dans Bar to the Brit. They bring as much energy as they can to Dans and the Brit, but the Red Devil is the best place to see them (well except for at the Bently!) We had a wedding planner so I do not know the logistics and the workings of booking and how easy they are to work with. But on the day of they were absolutely amazing! I had nightmares about the dance floor being empty and everyone just staring at each other, as we had a very diverse crowd ranging for 6 months to 70 years...and EVERYONE was out on the dance floor...all night long...it could not have gone any better. We also had a DJ play when the band took breaks, if this is in your budget I would highly recommend to keep the party going! Do not hesitate in booking these guys, they play everything! They learned a coldplay song for our first dance and recorded it for us (a couple of times a couple of different ways) so we could practice with it...it was beyond perfect! People are still talking about the band, and they will keep talking about it for years to come!

The Cheeseballs rocked my friend's wedding. Danced to them all night and they know how to keep the crowd moving. It's rare to see a band that can just cover some good songs and do it right. They were definitely a hit!

First Class! JSP made planning my fundraiser a breeze and without the help and experience of Jay Siegan I would have been in over my head for sure!
I needed to hold a fund raiser for a Team In Training event and The Red Devil Lounge was the first place I thought of so I called and asked if a local band could play the gig - Jay ( http://www.twitter.com...
http://www.jaysieganpr...) the club's promoter was courteous, professional, and helped me take care of organizing the details for my event. I had never planned an event as large at this at a night club and asked Jay for as much help as possible and he graciously obliged.
I highly recommend checking out The Red Devil Lounge and JSP if you are looking for a place to host a any kind of party or event. My fundraiser was a huge success and everything went off without a hitch!
The entire staff at The Red Devil Lounge is great /friendly and the bartenders make great drinks and are very good at getting your drinks to you without much of a wait - that's 5 stars in my book! Also, there is nothing pretentious about the place - staff and party-goers are all super chill and just looking forward to a fun evening no matter what type of event is going on behind that big door!
A BIG thank you to JSP, The Red Devil Lounge, Session 73, Timmy Mezzy, and Stroke 9 for an AMAZING evening!
The ambiance in this cozy/cool place is GREAT! The red velvet curtains and the decor in general make you feel like you're some place that you could into A LOT of delicious trouble!! :) TASTY trouble! -

I have worked with Jay Siegan for almost 10 years.
My experience with booking bands for corporate, wedding and nightclub events has been great.
Always a pro.
His bands really are some of the best in town,
My personal favorite is NOTORIOUS.
Love them.
Super hip and really nails all the New Wave and Electro-Dance music I love.
For the past 4 years Jay has also provided me with cool dance bands to play on my Main Stage at the Castro Street Fair (First Sunday in October).
I have heard nothing but compliments since we started booking his bands for the fair.
Looking forward to working with his entertainers again this year. -

Notorious played at our wedding in Carmel Valley and they were amazing! I have never seen so many people dancing at a wedding before. Neither my husband or I are big dancers, but we were out there the whole time. They also learned our first dance song and nailed it, which we really appreciate and was obviously very special. My husband is a bit of a music snob and he was apprehensive about me choosing a band that he had never heard for the wedding. I think he fell in love with them - no joke, he was obsessed and talked their ear off after the wedding was over. They were amazing musicians but also fun people who were very easy to work with. The team at Jay Siegan Presents, especially Sarah A made the whole process seamless and easy. Notorious is beyond doubt the best band you could have play at your wedding or event!

JSP helped me organize a charity date auction at Red Devil Lounge and it was a HUGE success! Jay was extremely organized and responsive every step of the way. We worked together to make sure every little detail was ironed out and to make sure both of us were happy. I set up a walk-through 2 weeks before my auction which was very helpful. We had drink specials, a DJ, lighting and sound equipment, etc.
At the end of the night, we raised $5,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. On a Monday night! I'm so happy with the result and the venue and management could not have been better. I'll definitely use JSP and his team again. Very well done! -

I worked with JSP for our company holiday party, which was held this past weekend, and we booked Notorious. The band was great - super energetic - and JSP was wonderful to work with. They communicated our needs to the band perfectly, and everything just worked the way they said it would. I recommend JSP and Notorious to anyone who wants to rock the house! We took a chance on Pop Rocks for our September 2010 wedding at Beaulieu in Rutherford and, boy, did it pay off!
We live in Chicago and weren't able to go see them perform so, naturally, we sent a trusted bridesmaid and her boyfriend to go hear them play at Red Devil Lounge. She came back with great reviews but said that they "might be a little on the crazy side for the older crowd." Fast forward 10 months and 9 days later, after we've hired them without ever seeing them, after we are past the point of no return, and they are rocking out our wedding. Literally, EVERYONE is on the dance floor--old and young alike, and they are playing everything from 80s hits (for us) to Sinatra (for my dad) to Miley Cyrus (for my nieces). And let me tell you, my family is not a family of dancers. It was awesome to see a bunch of old Chinese folks getting down to Guns and Roses and Kings of Leon.
If you even for one second look at them and their set list and think, they're not for us because they (i) look too wild or (ii) seem unpredictable or (iii) don't have enough range because they're a band full of dudes, STOP yourself and rest assured that these guys and their management (Jay and Kalie) are consummate professionals who know how to adjust their performance to suit their surroundings, have incredible range, know how to get the party started and, most importantly, how to close the deal with everyone begging for more.
Just to give you some point of reference about who we are: we're both professionals, in our early thirties and had a fairly formal wedding at a winery in the Napa vicinity for about 80 guests. We fretted the week before the wedding that people wouldn't dance, that we didn't have enough people to keep the dance floor going and that Pop Rocks would be a bust--but we were so wrong on every single front.
As someone who is Type A and is hard to please, the husband and I could not have made a better choice by choosing to go with the boys of Pop Rocks. Our guests loved them, we loved them and if you're smart, you will hire them and love them too. -

The best advice I can give you is to book Pop Rocks immediately! If you are looking for a band - you have found them.
They are by far THE BEST, most fun band in the bay area (actually probably a greater geographic area, but I can't guarantee that). I can guarantee if you book Pop Rocks, you will not be disappointed.
We just had Pop Rocks play at our 200 person black tie wedding at the Bently Reserve in San Francisco, and they were by far the highlight of the entire night. They were FABULOUS.
Every single guest has told us (the bride and groom) that this was by far the best, most fun band (and as a result, the best, most fun wedding) they have ever been to.
You're biggest problem - if you book Pop Rocks - will be that you and every single one of your guests, will be sweaty, because no one will ever get off the dance floor. Literally. Every single guest (young and old) never left the dance floor. They had such a great selection of songs, that EVERYONE was on the dance floor the entire night.
They are literally worth every single penny, and then some!!! This band rocks it. They are so much fun, they have so much energy, and they are really really really crazy good! I can't say enough positive things about this band! Love them! And we will definitely book them for another event. -

The best decision we made for our wedding. The Cheeseballs ROCKED IT. Jay could not have been easier to work with. He even got the band to learn the Safety Dance.
People were on the dance floor the entire time - they even did an encore. I could not have been happier with Jay and Kallie and the band and I recommend them without ANY hesitation. -

My boyfriend (now husband) and I have always loved Pop Rocks and since we live on Polk Street, we go to their shows at the Red Devil Lounge every opportunity we get. We just love their energy, sound, costumes, vast array of songs they play - everything about them is awesome. We get so excited everytime we see them play: I turn into giddy schoolgirl when I get pulled on stage to sing and dance with them and my husband has a secret man-crush on them. Yes we're groupies, so much so, that we vowed to have them play at our wedding if the day ever came.
Fast forward to September 12th when they played at our (second) wedding in South Lake Tahoe! It was totally out of a fairy-tale - a venue right on the lake, with our friends, family, gorgeous weather and POP ROCKS, our favorite local cover band!! it was hands down the best day of our lives. They were incredibly easy and fun to work with (thanks Kalie!) and just rocked the place. My brother, who does NOT dance at all, was seen getting down on multiple occassions. Older relatives were shaking their asses and having the time of their lives. They cater to all types of crowds and happily played some slower songs for our older relatives. It was a sight - all thanks to this incredible band! Our friends all said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to. Simply put, Pop Rocks made our wedding great and we gladly shared the limelight with them :)
We would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to have a kick-ass wedding or private event. Prices are reasonable and they are flexible about location, dates, etc. More over, they are really nice guys and fun to hang out with.
We're looking forward to seeing them play again soon. Thank you Pop Rocks, you guys are AWESOME (in case you couldn't tell by my glowing review)! -

Jay totally saved my company holiday party entertainment!! With less than a week's notice, I had to find a band to play on a Friday night in December. Desperately searching on Yelp, I came across reviews for Pop Rocks, so I emailed Jay to see if they were available. Jay was so quick to respond, but unfortunately Pop Rocks was booked. He recommended another band named Love Fool. I was running out of time, so I took a chance with them. You can read about how much I love them in my band review.
Back to Jay and his team. They were professional and easy to work with. I had my initial "consultation" with Jay, who asked me questions about my company and the crowd the band was playing for. Unfortunately, I didn't have much information to provide. Jay assured me that the band specialized in reading crowds and would adjust their music accordingly. He was absolutely correct. After a few emails, phone calls and changes in details, we had an incredible band for our holiday party! I had never booked a band before this event, but Jay and his team made the experience very pleasant and stress free. I look forward to working with them for future events! -

My clients contracted Pop Rocks for their wedding last month. They were familiar with them, but I was not. Now that I've seen them action I want to use them as often as possible!
Forget the fun they bring to the party and how well they can read the crowd. These guys can truly sang! Not sing, SANG! The lead singer was amazing. How he put on the show he did and never took a deep breath is beyond me, but he did! The entire band was truly, truly amazing! I usually don't allow myself to be seen during weddings, but my assistant and I sat in a corner during the reception and watched them until the very last song! It was like being at a concert.
They were also the nicest, most flexible group of guys. The dinner portion of the reception was way off time-wise. So they worked with me on the fly to figure out Plan B.
The reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 has nothing to do with the band. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could. My slight issue was with their booking. I provided photos of where I wanted the band set up and was told there wouldn't be a problem. This was important b/c there was a specific floor plan that needed to be developed within a short period of time. Well, that information was not properly relayed to the band even though I made it a point to confirm this detail more than once. Again, the guys were flexible and offered to move all of their equipment, but I reworked the floor plan. It totally threw off our entire schedule (the site's as well), but it seemed easier than having them move all of their equipment. To be fair, the person who made the error did apologize.
I highly recommend Pop Rocks whether you want rock, 80s, or even R&B! Just make sure you make a list and check it thrice with their booking agent! -

UNBELIEVABLE! We had PopRocks as the band for our wedding at the Bently Reserve. The band was INCREDIBLE. There was not a moment that the dance floor was not packed! The members are a blast and totally keep high energy. Best band we've ever heard at any wedding and our guests felt the same way. There price is soooo reasonable. People at the wedding said they would buy tickets just to hear this band. I can't say enough about how fabulous they were. They made our event!!!!!! JSP is a first class company and came through with everything (and more)!!!

Pop Rocks kick ass! We booked them for our wedding party at Foreign Cinema a few weekends ago. At first, we (I) was kind of stressing that my G-Pa may not dance because none of the music would be familiar. Boy, was I wrong! Apparently he likes Lady Gaga and Black Eyed Peas. Or at least the way Pop Rocks plays 'em.
Here is what we liked best:
1) When we first inquired about the bands, Pop Rocks were recommended and our names were put "on the list at the door" of their next show so we could check them out.
2) Kalie was super professional and worked out all the details in a timely fashion (there was a wee mix-up about a check for items listed on their rider, but that's normal and no reason to dock a star...just letting you know for the sake of full disclosure).
3) We were asked to provide a 'play' and 'do not play' list (if we wanted to) of 10 songs max. each, which was great since they are the artists and know what's up.
4) THE BAND. Love them. Wish I could dance to their music every damn day.
So, what are you waiting for? Call and book them. Now. Then send me an invitation because I would love to do it again. (Cue: I Gotta Feeling) -

I was all set to review Notorious under Notorious, but here they are over here under Jay Siegan Presents.
Just as well, gives me a chance to say how awesome Jay and his team are while I'm here. Jay and his team are awesome. Seriously responsive and helpful and fantastic.
Notorious was fun and energetic (even when my attendees chose to mainly ignore them and drink and they only had 4 people on the dancefloor at times; that is SO embarrassing), and they were really really nice when I met them.
Hire them folks - they are super fun. -

My husband and I booked Notorious for our wedding. They totally ROCKED IT! We had so much fun at our wedding, and all of our guests were on the dance floor rocking out and having a great time.

I booked Notorious Rocks for an event and they were amazing. They got the crowd going and left us all breathless at the end of the night with a rockin rendition of Don't Stop Believin.
The cast of characters that work at this office are awesome as well. Jay was really helpful through it all and Jacqie deserves an award for putting up with such an ungodly amount of shenanigans.

I and 5 of my friends hosted our 40th birthday party and had JSP arrange it at the Red Devil Lounge with the band Pop Rocks and it could not have been better. JSP worked with us every step of the process to make sure it went smoothly: from coordinating an outdoor parking spot for the Taco Truck, to getting wristbands for all on our guestlist, to setting up a projector so that we could have a slideshow in the middle of the party. We had just over 200 people there comfortably with the upper balcony providing a nice reprieve for our 70yr old parents. Between the main bar and the upstairs bar, there was never a wait for a drink.
And POP ROCKS is the best live band I have ever seen. If you like the 80s, they dominate... fantastic vocals and spot on music and they costume up for the Hair Metal set. Their energy is infectious and they know how to work a party. They absolutely blew me away. I cannot tell you how good they sound, from Journey to Taio Cruz to Guns and Roses, they sound like the real deal.
Best party I've ever had. Wanna do it again for my 41st. -

Notorious played our wedding recently and they were AMAZING! They made our reception a party. I mean everybody got up on the dance floor and danced the night away. I loved the band Notorious. They are so energetic, so talented and very professional. I would highly recommend using them for a party or wedding. They will make your event a memorable one. All of our guests were blown away with this band!!!

We hired Pop Rocks for our daughter's wedding this past weekend in Carmel Valley, CA. SENSATIONAL is the word that sums them up. 245 people were dancing and the mood remained upbeat throughout the entire time they played. Also, working with Kalie (who is so responsive and organized) was a breeze. Look no further and hire this band before someone else does :-)

We used the Cheeseballs for the 2011 Shamrock Ball, an event held during the St Patrick's Day festival weekend. All I can say is Wow! The feedback I have gotten from the SF Irish community is amazing. The Cheeseballs really made the event and Jay Siegans staff was so helpful, particularly Kalie. We will definitely use Jay Siegan Presents for next year's Shamrock Ball. Thanks for helping us make the Ball a success and raise money for the charities we support.

What are the two things people remember about weddings? How much fun they had! What determines that? Great music and an open bar. We booked Pop Rocks for our wedding at the Presidio Log Cabin and it was the single best decision we made. They made our wedding THE party of the year. They learned our first dance song and a Hall & Oates song that we desperately wanted and they rocked both. Their range of voices is amazing and they had EVERYONE out on the dance floor. They even allowed my husband to fulfill his rockstar fantasy by letting him sing along to a Killers tune. If you are looking for a band for a corporate gig or wedding, don't even think twice - just book Pop Rocks if they are available. On top of it, they are such nice people and helped keep the evening moving by MC'ing the whole night. People have been calling and emailing to tell me that it was the best wedding they've ever attended and I know that I owe a lot of that to the band.

I worked with Pop Rocks this weekend, they were awesome! I am a wedding planner and have worked with many different bands and these guys really know how to party. They had the entire group dancing and the bride was even on stage with them singing along. I would definately recommend them to anybody!

If I could give Notorious a million stars I would. They played at our wedding and were beyond amazing! The dance floor was packed the entire night, and people were legitimately sad when the band was done. Notorious read the crowd perfectly, and their song selections were dead on. Many thanks to Notorious for giving us some of the best memories of our lives. My husband and I could not have asked for more!

We organized a launch party for our group's largest fundraiser and wanted a really fun band to perform. We were so fortunate to book Pop Rocks. They dressed up to accent our theme and brought down the house! Seriously, they were so much fun, had amazing energy, and got such great buzz for our event. They were a delight to work with, and I can't wait to work with them again.

Jay Siegan Presents has provided the bands for our last two school fundraisers, and they have both been off the hook fun!!! Pop Rocks performed this year, for a crowd of 450+ at Portola Farms in Woodside. We had two big dance floors, both packed with people having great fun. Feedback has been incredible... we are going to try and sign them again next year. Last year we had Notorious, also amazing and perfect for our 80s theme. Both of these band WILL absolutely make your party one to remember... can't go wrong... everyone will enjoy (from the school principal to the big party people in the crowd)!! Rock on!

Jay Siegan Presents is extremely professional in handling the bands they represent as I have personal friends who have used each of them, but my personal experience comes under Notorious. The booking process was seemless and their attention to detail was very comforting. Notorious played for my wedding on Aug. 30th and what ended up happening was I focused on getting married and Notorious / Jay Siegan Presents focused on putting on the best performance I could have imagined. Highly Recommended.

Jay and his team (especially Kalie, who deserves a HUGE shout-out for her superior customer service) were awesome to work with for planning New Year's Eve with my group of friends. They accommodated our needs when we had to rearrange our VIP purchase at the 11th hour and never once blinked an eye. The Red Devil is always fun, and Pop Rocks put on an amazing show too (with a bonus Journey set!).

Notorious made our wedding the party we could only imagine it would be! I have never heard so many compliments on a wedding band like we have received. People were overheard saying it was the best wedding they've ever been to...and it's all thanks to the band. Even my husbands 90 year old grandmother was dancing all night. The Cheeseballs played our wedding this past weekend...and they were amazing! We have gotten countless raves on their performance. I have been to a lot of weddings, but I dont think I have ever been to one where every guest was on the dance floor for pretty much every song. They made it an amazing night and brought incredible energy and fun to the party - I will never forget the mental image of all of my friends and loved ones dancing their hearts out throughout the night. My husband and I booked WonderBread 5 for our wedding a few weeks back. All I can say is AMAZING! From the first to the last song, our guest never left the dance floor. This is exactly what we wanted at our wedding and WonderBread 5 delivered.
From going out of their way in learning a new song just for us, to letting my husband and his band play on stage, WonderBread 5 was a true class act.
Working with Jay Siegan Presents was also seamless. His team was very professional and quick to respond.
WonderBread 5 was rated "better than Disneyland" by our 7 year old flower girl. It just doesn't get better than that!
