Low star review for miserable guest services.
I was there half way through Jan with some co workers and friends, we had a good time.. We were pretty drunk and going to have a good time anyway so I can't comment on the bar itself.
We left the bar and the next day I realized I had left my sweater near where the DJ was playing. I am from out of the area but wanted my sweater back so I tried contacting Jaxson's through 1) email 2) facebook 3) and calling numerous times. The phone seems to ring with no end, I was never able to contact anyone that way. You can probably still see one of my attempts to contact them through Facebook on their wall with no response (Jan 26).. unless they have deleted it.
I sent another email reply today after trying to call them all month ( this is now over 1 month after I lost my sweater and tried initially contact them ) and finally got a response,
"Hi Byron, sorry for the delay. I wasn't able to locate your sweater. If anything comes up, I will make sure to contact you."
I realize they are a bar and can be busy, but I work at a tech startup and in the same week I lost my sweater, I responded to a handful of emails asking me to find bugs in client's PHP and Javascript code (not really my responsibility). If I can find the time to do that, I imagine Jaxson's could take the time to find a sweater in their lost and found tub and get back to me. -

1 check-inI'm not sure how my Bf and I ended up at this country bar in the Marina...of all places. I have to admit, I was a bit uncomfortable because the bar was packed with mainly Caucasian decent. We are both from the South, so we are use to unintentionally segregated bars.
We sat at the end of the bar and ordered our drinks. The female bartenders have heavy hands. They put enough alcohol in our drinks, just like they make it down south. As the night went on, we started mingling with fellow drunk patrons.
When we first got there, Country Hits were playing, then when we left, Hip Hop was playing...Funny, kind of. Some people had rhythm and some were hearing something completely different in their head.
Overall, if we are around, we might stop in for a drink...Might. LOL It was a fun night! -

1 check-in First to ReviewWell, the boys of Otto and Brickyard have done it again. Country style....ready for marina douche central, and I fuckin love it
Dj booth redone. Right on the dance floor aka perfect for requesting our favorite songs! Like OMG! Bartenders are awesome. Whiskey sour? Whiskey rocks? Whiskey anything? They deliver.
Big things to come. Can't effing wait. Thank god someone finally decided to OWN this space. -

Decor-This bar is amazing!! It was empty when I went, so I had time to take the tour.. the huge american flag, the distressed wood work, metal nuts on the iron sheets, they really put some time and $$ into this bar.
Drinks- They have a great whisky list, which made my friend very happy. I believe my buddy said the bartender made the best Old Fashion he has ever had!! My rum and coke was also a perfect mix, no surprise with a veteran btender like Otto behind the bar, the drinks are always going to be top-notch.
Next time I hope I get to see all the daisy dukes and the boots!! -

Hands down my favorite pub in the Marina. Just a good old fashioned all American bar. Great staff, excellent vibe. Love going on Tuesday and Wednesday's, much quieter, ideal for catching up with some good friends. Wanna play? Fri and Sat are insane :-) great job guys. The gent that owns the bar is a pretty inspiring young man too. Nice work Sam.

Was there Saturday night 3/21/2015 with two friends. We got there at around 1:20am and they still charged us $5.00 cover charge. Who does that? There was no one in the line. When they were checking our ID's another bouncer came over demanding the $$$$ for the cover! One thing at a time please. We understood we had to pay. Once inside, we were greeted by overly drunk people with attitudes. When we got back to our hotel we noticed that my friend's wallet was missing. He didn't order any drinks which made us wonder how his wallet disappeared from his pocket. We went back the next day when the bar opened and after asking the bartender about a missing wallet he immediately said nothing had been turned in. Beware, this place is full of mad drunks, attitudes and thieves. Don't go there if it's your last resort - do yourself a favor and stay home!

Great country bar in the heart of the marina. The interior is very well decorated and designed with barn wood definitely fitting the country theme. The staff is also very friendly and fast! Come with a group of friends, but be aware it does get super busy on the weekends. So if you are not into too big of crowds, stop by during the week.

Great country bar (okay, I think the only country bar) in SF. It you're into that kind of thing and ready to do a little line dancing or otherwise, this is the joint. The bartenders have a lot of energy and the drinks are strong. Offers a unique Saturday night, that's for sure!
