243 N Highway 101 Ste 8Big sponsors of San Diego Bicycling Club, so often completely overrun with cyclists on Saturday and Sunday. Being a cyclist myself, plus stars for this alone.
Otherwise, it's a fairly typical HWY 101 coffee shop. Good place to relax with a breakfast pastry.
This is a great spot to kill a Sunday morning with friends and the newspaper. It also has a great patio and sufficient seating inside, too.
When it's crowded (warning: this place gets overrun frequently by cyclists), it can take days, years even, to get your food. But the egg burritos and other dishes are usually worth the wait. And it's all reasonably priced.
A nice comfortable spot that is reliably good.
A very nice, artsy spot to have a cup of java. Since I don't drink coffee, I come here for the egg steamers and the atmosphere. On a sunny day you can enjoy the flowery veranda seating area while sipping your joe or eating their lox n' bagel specialty. They also have great muffins and danishes. I don't like their version of Chai tea which is my drink of choice. It just isn't meaty enough for my tastes.
The inside is filled with artwork from local painters which adds flavor to this coffee house.

This is where I learned to play Egyptian Rat Screw. We used to drive here all the way from near SDSU just to take in the scene. Outside on the patio was nice. Pastries just OK.
