Review from Morgan C.
Los Angeles, CA
I'm new to Los Feliz and while I was walking down Hillhurst thinking about getting flowers, I looked up and saw this place, so figured I'd give it a chance. I had no idea what I really wanted, but Candice took care of everything, I gave her a budget and she helped me pick out a great looking bouquet. I was getting the flowers to bring when I picked up someone from the airport, but their flight wasn't booked so I didn't know if they were coming in that night or the next morning. She wrapped the flowers open at the bottom so that I could stick them in water if I had to wait until the morning. She also gave me a quick tutorial on how to wrap the flowers back up.
After finding out that I was new to the area, she also handed me a booklet about all the businesses in Los Feliz Village.
This is definitely the best florist I've been to and I plan on being a repeat customer. -

This place is fantastic. My grandmother has owned a flower shop for two decades, so I know a thing or two about them, and I knew I was pushing my luck when I walked into Jasmine's Garden early on a Saturday afternoon. I hadn't called ahead. I hadn't submitted an order online. The arrangement I'd seen on their website was listed as one of their most popular-- they could easily be out of every flower in it. And they pretty much were...
But Z couldn't have been more helpful! When he told me they were out of purple orchids, and burgundy carnations, and green carnations, I was pulling out my phone ready to search for the next florist, but Z was confident he could put something together. It didn't exactly match the picture online-- it was actually better. Not to mention that the flowers that he put in my arrangement were significantly more expensive than those used in the one online, but he DIDN'T raise the price a single penny!! A couple hours later I went back to pick up my arrangement and it was absolutely beautiful!
Z went above and beyond for me, as I'm sure he would any customer. Stop in here and see what they can do for you, you WON'T be disappointed! -

Another review in which I start off by giving Yelp a five-star review, for turning me onto this fantastic florist! I never visited this shop in person, but based on my Yelp search results, Jasmine's was #1 on the list. Next "plus" in my experience was that the Yelp listing included a link to Jasmine's website, which was very thorough and presented a top-notch user-friendly interface. In a matter of seconds I was able to pick out the perfect arrangement in my price range. I could have ordered online, but since they were local and I had a few questions, I opted to test their call-back feature so I wouldn't have to waste time on hold. Sure enough, a few minutes later, my phone rang. I always love when companies offer that feature; there's nothing worse than being on hold and having to listen to bad music on speakerphone for an eternity.
Courteous, professional, helpful, excellent follow-up (they called to let me know once the arrangement had been delivered), accommodating and 5-star are all ways I would use to describe my experience with Jasmine's. "Repeat customer" is how I would describe my relationship to Jasmine's!
Thanks again Yelp, and thanks Jasmine's; I look forward to doing business with both of you again soon.Listed in: Thank you yelp*!!

I decided to hire Jasmine's Garden for my wedding florist after much yelping and they came with such great reviews. Just want to say upfront that Z and Diana were very easy to work with. I don't think the flowers turned out to be a disaster or else I would give a 1 star. However, there were so many discrepancies between the actual flowers and what's on the contract, I was left quite dissatisfied.
Bridal Bouquet:
I had a mixed flower bouquet with 5 peonies. Only 1 of them bloomed slightly and the 4 remaining tightly closed throughout the day (and still close after 2 days). I was sad that my bouquet was not as fluffy and full as I hoped to be. Some people might say it's an act of mother nature, but I do believe it's the florist's responsibility to make sure the flowers they order actually BLOOM!
Altar Arrangement:
My contract specifies curly/wiry willow arrangements with dendrobium orchids. What was at my altars were straight spray arrangements with stargazers! I'm sure stargazers are pretty to some people but I actually dislike them very much. My florist should NOT just start inserting flowers that are not on the contract or change my key element (the curly willows) without my knowledge.
Centerpieces:
They are suppose to be orchids with bamboo frames. However, the bamboo frames were set so low to the bottom that the flowers were left looking very unsupported. I'm not talking about the gracefully elegant curly drop which orchids have, I do mean, unsupported saggy looking orchids.
Cake Flowers:
The color for the flower petals was supposed to be fuchsia/pink. What was on the cake table were PEACH pink flowers. It looked very out of place with the rest of the color scheme.
I have left my feedback with Jasmine's Garden and Z said he's sorry to hear that the flowers did not meet my expectations and he thought the flowers look great after the set up. Well, it's not really about my expectation but rather black and white on the contract, if it says curly, I don't mean straight. And is it really a great expectation to see the main flowers in my bridal bouquet bloom, just slightly?
Just want to note, my bridesmaid bouquet look fantastic though. -

DELIVERY INFO!
Minimum delivery order price is $40.
Delivery charge is $5 for destinations within the 90027 zip code. Price varies for farther areas. My delivery was for 90041 = $15.
I came into Jasmine's wanting to get a bouquet delivered to my mom on Mother's Day. Right off the bat the staff (a team of two women that day) kindly informed me what they charge for delivery which I've written above.
I was unsure of what I wanted, but after I told one of the ladies what colors my mom likes they started thinking of some ideas of what I could do. In the end I chose to put the bouquet in a vase (which had a specific name, but I forgot) as opposed to a box just in those plastic wrappings and as for the flowers, I left to the them to work their magic.
As for the delivery, they asked for delivery address and phone number, but also the time that my mom would be working. I told them she works till 3PM so they noted that the flowers should be delivered before 2PM. Somehow I just felt assured that they wouldn't rush to get the bouquet to her despite it being Mother's Day. The customer service here is wonderful. Although I didn't know what I wanted going in, they never rushed me or pressure me to buy something more expensive.
Before I left, they gave me a flower (picture posted) and it totally made my day! It was beautiful and the stem was held up by a straw-looking tube so the flower wouldn't droop. Great way to end the day! -

Ordered deliver from here... flowers came out just like the picture of what they advertised , I was suprised how closely they got it to match the picture. Amazed actually. Didnt cheap out on the vase either, everything was pretty amazing! Worth the money I thought and they delivered it great.
As skeptical as I was ordering from a flower shop, I was suprisingly impressed with everything. They are my flowership of choice for LA! :) -

I have placed three online orders with Jasmine's Garden. I have yet to visit the store in person but look forward to doing so.
The first two orders were delivered promptly. Both recipients raved that the arrangements were outstanding and sent me photos. The flowers looked fabulous. I received calls on my cell phone from the owner confirming delivery. What service! I was impressed.
I received a call from the owner shortly after I placed the third order online, yesterday. He politely explained that he could not deliver to the Palisades (I know, I know, it was a long shot), and that he had called three of his associates on the west side. The first two he contacted refused to make my order (a crown of roses under Jasmine Garden's "prom" category that I had decided to order for my sick friend as a funny little pick-me-up), but the third florist he contacted was willing to make it for me. He said I'd save money if I placed the order directly with the florist instead of having him wire it over, so he gave me the name and number of Palisades Flowers and apologized for any inconvenience.
What a guy! I will give Jasmine's Garden as much money as possible. Customer service like this is rare, these days, and I appreciate that he is willing to go the extra mile to show people he values their business.
I ended up not listening to the owner re: contacting his associate and decided for some reason to give up on the crown idea and look for another florist on the west side with great Yelp reviews. I placed an order online with Ezai Floral Design in Santa Monica, yesterday, and the owner called me shortly thereafter to get my payment information. When I received a photo of the arrangement from the recipient, today, the flowers were simply stunning, but I must admit that I missed the extra touch that Jasmine's Garden gave me with those delivery confirmation calls, a bit.
I'll definitely use Ezai again for west side orders, and I'm curious about Palisades Flowers, as well, but for all of my Hollywood-area flower needs, I plan to be loyal to Jasmine's Garden.
As a little background, I had previously used Empty Vase and adored the photo I received from the recipient of their luscious arrangement, but their prices were higher, and while I have yet to try any of the "heavy hitter" florists listed in the press as celebrity favorites, for my money, Jasmine's Garden = five stars. -

I was in charge of figuring out flower arrangements for an academic symposium, so I went into Jasmine's Garden a few days before the event, a little embarrassed at what our budget was and what we wanted for it. I spoke with Diana, who was extremely friendly and patient, and we discussed our budget, what we needed arrangements for (check-in table, food tables, etc.), how many arrangements we could afford, what kinds of flowers would be in the arrangements, what kinds of colors we were looking for, etc.
On the day of the event, the flowers were delivered and they looked stunning! During the symposium's reception, people kept noting how beautiful the flowers were, and at the end of the night, people were vying for the privilege to take the flower arrangements home with them. Incidentally, I took an arrangement home with me and it continued to look amazing (ie. not dead) for over a WEEK. Awesome. -

Great service! I called on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving to get flowers delivered to a colleague at a hospital on Thanksgiving morning. I had already tried a few places, so they were a lifesaver to begin with.
They delivered a very nice basket of flowers, just as the patient was leaving the hospital, so they have good timing as well! They also left me a voice mail on the holiday, confirming receipt and even mentioned his good health!
Great job and I will be looking for more opportunities to use them. Thanks! -

This place has the best customer service. I live in SF but my family lives in LA and I like sending flowers to my Grandma.
I used Jasmine's for the first time today and ordered a bouquet for my (very picky) Grandma. A short while later, the flowers were delivered, my Grandma was pleasantly surprised and she left me a sweet voicemail saying the arrangement was gorgeous.
I now have a go-to florist in LA and look forward to stopping by in person the next time I'm town.
Thanks, Zorab! -

I recently got married and my wife and I chose Z and his team from Jasmine's Garden to do our flowers. As the groom, my role was to simply attend the flower appointments and pretend that I understood the difference between a lily and a rose. After meeting with a number of florists, we stumbled upon Jasmine's Garden through yelp.
I can't tell you what a breath of fresh air it was to meet Z. He's a real person that listened to us (my wife mostly...she did the talking), and went out of his way to give us what we were looking for, and then some. He was extremely kind and very creative. We changed our minds a handful of times and he was extremely patient with us throughout the entire process.
On the day of the flowers were amazing. Again, i'm no expert in the matter, but whatever he did, he did it right. If you're looking for someone that is a true artist and a great person, you can't go wrong working with Z at Jasmine's Garden -

This is the perfect local flower shop.
I stopped in to buy a plant for my bachelor pad.
After conversing with the owner about my ability to kill off plants we talked and he suggested several options, all potted, none were more than 12 dollars.
I cannot remember what I picked but its still alive a couple months later!
He also GAVE me a clipping from another of his plants to set up so I now have two plants!!
Cut flower selection is limited but he can get you whatever you want.
Most importantly the owners are very kind and helpful which to my plant killing self was really the closer!! -

I am in love with this place! Over and over I have come in with simply a price range and a mood and they out-do themselves!. Yesterday I wanted $20 and "fun". Z was the florist on duty and he put together lilacs, stargazers, some cute little things I've forgotten the name of, and checked with me on every choice. The end result was exquisite... and only $14.
The flowers last for at least a week, they smell as good as they look, and I am always impressed with how much bang for the buck I get there. The bouquets truly remind me of good tattoos, (wow, can't tell I live in Los Feliz, can you?), expressing great artistic talent while simultaneously fulfilling the client's request to the fullest. -

Wonderful flower store. Beautiful selection. Workers are always helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and they do not try to sell you expensive flowers not suitable for the occasion. We are lucky to have this in our neighborhood.

I have come to accept the notion that if there's no one to buy you flowers, then buy them for yourself! ^_^
After a long breakup, it was time to brighten my day with some beautiful flowers and on a walk to Lucifer's in, my friend and I ended up here at Jasmine's.
It's small, quaint and absolutely wonderful. Don't let the limited selection of flowers in the case fool you, these guys can get almost anything. I got three flowers, whose name sadly escape me (they look like sunflowers, but they're not), in white, red and orange. A simple little arrangement of some green leaves and blue fillers and they're absolutely perfect to sit on top of my desk all for a mere $6. They are bright and gorgeous and completely made my day.
The staff here are wonderful and will be more than happy to chat with you and really help you with just about anything flower related. Their customer service is top notch so don't hesitate to strike up a conversation. Even if you don't buy anything at that moment, they'll still leave you with a feeling that they're worth coming back to (and they are!) Without a doubt, this will be one of my favorite flower stops if not my only. Cheers to Jasmine. ^_^ -

This was my first time to order through Jasmine's Garden, and I must say I am very pleased! I ordered flowers for my sister's 21st birthday to be delivered. I am in Washington DC and my sister lives in W. Hollywood, so I was worried about ordering across the continent without seeing the final result. The lady on the phone was super helpful and very kind. I told them I wanted a modern bouquet with hot pink flowers and pink roses. According to the picture from my sister, they did exactly what I asked. I wanted the flowers for myself, darn! Way better than ordering through 800flowers. Support the local businesses!

Forget about those florists that are like used car salesmen. At Jasmine's Garden, you'll get honest-to-goodness service.
I went to half a dozen florists in search of a few simple boutonierres and bouquets for my wedding. My pleas for simplicity fell on deaf ears as they kept trying to upsell me. Their version of 'simple' involved cascading rose bouquets bigger than my flower girl.
Zhorab - the friendly owner - actually listened, even though I didn't have lots of $ to spend. The prices were amazing and so was the quality of the work. He even threw in a beautiful lily when he found out it was my flower girl's favorite.
Did I mention that I drive here from Santa Monica? Despite the traffic and gas $, it's well worth the hassle! -

I don't know what to say other than praise and appreciation for this place. I ordered an arrangement from this store at 6pm today and they made it and delivered it on the same day before they closed for the day.
Both Cadence and Z are such helpful and professional people.
I asked them to ensure they deliver the flowers and not leave it by the door. They did this by attempting several times! I am extremely pleased that the flowers were delivered on the birthday of my family and at a very reasonable cost.
Thank you again. I highly recommend this store. You will leave them very satisfied. -

BEST FLOWER SHOP EVER!!
all you need to do is come in, tell them how much you want to spend, tell them the occasion, and vwallaa. a masterpiece! they have the highest quality flowers you can find, and to top it off, its cheaper than low quality flowers you may find at other stores.
the staff is great and the owner rocks!!! always helpful no matter what you need or what questions you may have. if you don't have a green thumb, they can help you fix it. have been coming here for years, and will continue to do so (including my wedding in may '11)!!! -

Okay I'm behind on this review.. considering father's day just passed. My brother came to Jasmine's Garden to pick out a bouquet for our mom for her birthday, but they don't have already made arrangements. You basically come in and pick out flowers you like and they put an arrangement together for you.. which I think is super cool and you do get a one of kind arrangement. I don't know the price range but from what my brother told me they where very professional and sweet and nice so I think I'll have to try this place out myself..

If i could give this place 10 stars I would. I called for same day delivery and candice totally took care of me and the flowers I asked for. Since my fiancee wasnt there to receive them when the flowers were delivered yesterday they were totally understanding and are to deliver today. I will refer friends and family to this place from now on since I have gone to and called other places that are totally too high in price and over rated with ok service. thanks again candice.

So here's the deal: I woke up last Thursday wanting to send my partner some flowers "just because" and ended up googling shops near his work. I had called one other shop before I called Jasmine's, however I wasn't happy with their customer service. So I gave Jasmine's a call. A gentleman answered (whom I believe was the owner, I've come to find out) and I told him what I wanted: something special, simple, yet ellegant, and that wouldn't break me. He said that it could be done AND could be delivered within a couple of hours. So, I hesitantly placed my order and waited. Right after lunch I get a very excited text from my partner along with a picture of the arrangement. Let me tell you, the flowers were more amazing than I could have imagined: the right color combination, right flower combination; it was just perfect! I couldn't have been happier! I will certainly be calling them again in the future for any flower arrangements and will recommend them to my friends! Thank you again, Jasmine's Garden! You guys did great and made my day!

This is the second time I've ordered from them and I am very very pleased. Every time I call there, the lady who answers the phone is very nice and patient. (no putting on hold or rushing through the process).
They do a fabulous job with the flower arrangements (my favorite is the Zen Artistry which I ordered twice now). Great customer service. They even call you after the flowers have been delivered. Who does that?
Highly recommended. -

Great experience, I ordered an arrangement same day about 2 hours before I needed it and it was available when I got there. The staff member brought it to my car and protected it in packaging for travel. Price was fair and they made exactly what I had asked for. Now I know they offer more environmentally friendly options so go check it out if you need flowers in the near future. I like to support local.

I found Jasmine's through Yelp when I was looking for a florist for my wedding. I called ahead to make an appointment and they were perfectly understanding when I got caught in traffic on the way over (I called from the car and they assured me it was no big deal). Z worked with me from start to finish in figuring out what I wanted and how to best make it work with our budget. He flew in calla lilies & mini calla lilies for us (they weren't in season) and somehow there was no cost difference. He was a total doll all the way through and I was more than pleased with how everything turned out. He even managed to work guitar picks into the bouquets and boutonnieres for us. I would absolutely suggest these guys to anyone and everyone. Their website doesn't do their work justice.

I luv...luv..luv this place! One of the few family run small florists. Never had a bad batch of flowers that died a few days later and the most important. THEY ALWAYS have flowers that have their scents! The make all types of fabulous arrangements and each time I go there for a small b-day bouquet et al....I end up buying something similar to an arrangement they just made for another client or delivery. Holiday arrangements are so creative and their prices MOST IMPORTANTLY they ask you how much you want to spend and give a little more to your order without charging more. BTW, they also won the people's vote on FOX 11 for being one of L.A.'s best kept secrets/business. They deliver too and are worth at trip.

Z and the rest of the fabulous staff at Jasmine's did my wedding in late 2007. I can't believe I didn't write a review until now!
Their service, attention and care were perfect. The flowers and setup was lovely, and the wedding was beautiful.
On my first anniversary, Z dropped off a beautiful bouquet on my front porch, the same bouquet that we used for our wedding centerpieces! He's so thoughtful, I look forward to using him for events in the future. Great neighborhood business. -

My family, who all live on the east coast, sent me flowers for my birthday. They didn't want to use 1800-flowers because they weren't happy with the quality of product. Jasmine's is extremely professional. They called an hour before drop off to make sure I would be there. After they dropped them off called my mother to say that I had received them and I seemed very happy! They flowers are beautiful too! They are nothing like commercial places where they have been refrigerating for hours. The flowers look like they were just cut in the garden! Amazing!

Simply the best flower shop in the area, and I have been to just about all of them. I have been going there for ages, and even though it costs more than, say, the flowers at Trader Joes, they last about thirteen times longer (give or take). Family run, and they always give my daughter (5 yrs. old) a flower of her own to take home--good ones too!. Anytime I am looking for good-quality flowers, this is the first place (and typically only place) I go.

Absolutely awesome service! I needed to order flowers for a funeral and used Yelp to locate a local florist. I called and ordered an arrangement that was not in their online catalog, but was happily accommodated by Zorrab. He also coordinated with the funeral home to make sure the arrangement made it in time for the wake and then called me to confirm that the flowers were delivered. I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the personal service and follow up. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a florist in the LA area.

I received the most beautiful bouquet for my birthday--the request my friend made was for "large and fragrant" and this was an exquisite amazing bouquet--peonies, lilies, roses, lysanthia and greens delivered by someone who was so thrilled ot hand me a glorious towering array--I am using them for friends from now on...
