Super delicious, and FUN!  This is a Habachi-style Japanese restaurant. (Although you can get sushi, and other yummy delights at a regular table)  I have always chosen the cooking table.

Come hungry...you will be full and satisfied!  You have a choice of steak, chicken, shrimp, or a veg/tofu combo.  I can't speak to the flesh, but the veggies are great, and plentiful!  You get soup, salad, fried rice, and noodles too! (with whichever entree you choose)

The sour apple martini's are super yummy (8$).

Just know,  you may be sharing the table with some weirdos' (in my case...a couple of jersey transplants)  but as long as your prepared...you will survive.  The chef does fun tricks with the shrimp tails, etc...good stuff, and it serves to break any jersey style tension that may be lingering...

The staff was great!  Super friendly, and cute!

This is a really good place for a large party...especially for a celebration.

I didn't try their teppanyaki but they don't have an extensive sushi roll selection as I would have thought. The rolls are not bad but their appetizer of crab rangoon wasn't tasty. The Thai spring rolls were alright. Nothing too out of the ordinary. I guess I was just in the mood for more sushi and they didn't offer anything that interested me.

Ate outside for lunch. Great sushi, nice fresh fish, pleasant staff. Also tried a Thai dish as well which was delicious! Reasonably priced, will try hibachi next time I go.

I have eaten at Japan Inn several times and have been very impressed.  The portions are good, and the food is flavorful.  I always get a sushi appetizer when I am here, and the sushi is impressive and priced appropriately for a hibachi style restaurant.  I prefer it to Benihana's Restaurant, but less than several others I have been to, including Kobe Steakhouse in Orlando, and is the only reason I give it four stars instead of five.

This is my favorite Hibachi (aka Tippan Yaki) place in town. If you go to Benihana over here than you are crazy. The place is in a strip mall and looks like not much from the outside but the decor inside is truly Japanese and there are fish tanks and fun tapestries and even a big screen TV behind the sushi bar. I have only had the sushi here once and it wasn't bad but not the best and definitely not the reason why I come here. I come here for the Hibachi!

Sit at a Hibachi table and you will get all the things that you expect. The meal starts with soup. There soup is delicious. It's not miso. It's called clear soup and it make miso look like hot tap water. It's soo good. They also give you a house salad with ginger dressing that has to be some of the best I've tried. It's sweet and delicious not too tangy and lumpy like most.  After that, get ready. I like to order the scallops or the shrimp and scallops. Those are my suggestions. They give you two sauces. I love the brown sauce. My bf loves the white. So we usually switch. Sometimes if I'm starving I order the Age Tofu appetizer. It is delicious. It is deep fried tofu in a tempura-style teriyaki sauce. It is the best tofu dish I've had. Hands down. I also love that this place loads up the portions. You get tons of veggies, rice, noodles, meat, etc. I always have to take some home. It's delicious. The show is pretty good too. These guys try hard. Drinks here are strong and delicious as well. One time I was in a weird mood and ordered something blue and tropical off the specialty menu. It was really good actually. The prices here are expected, I would say around $15-$20 for most Hibachi entrees.

Japan Inn is your above average high volume suburban Hibachi place.  It always draws a crowd, so go to the bar or make reservations.  The crowd tends to be a lot of younger college kids, families, and the older dating crowd.  We've made this place our friday night hangout because the drinks are good, the food is good to great and the price is reasonable.

For the price, you get a *TON* of food.  Be careful if you eat small here, if you split the bill on one entre, you get socked a $5 share fee.  In any case, its still worth it because there's more than enough food if you share...especially if you get a sushi appetizer.  My gal and i started with drinks at the bar...which were ice cold and very well presented.  Only thing was that we had to wait for the bartender as it was crowded on the Friday night.  After that, we migrated to our table and started with California Rolls appetizer.  It was delivered with the crispy onion soup that comes with the entrees.  Next was the salad with ginger dressing, also part of the entree.  If you're sharing the plate, you get full size portion of the soup and salad...so I gues sthats what the $5 more is for.

From there, the show begins.  Everyone gets shrimp appetizer portions, I think its 2 pieces.  The shrimp are really flavorful here, moreso than other hibachi places I've been to.  No idea why, but thats why I like it!

From there, you get your main meals.  First comes the fried rice with teh standard egg "show", then the vegetables with the 'volcano" show or "peas trailing fire".  We then shared the Steak and Shrimp.  Again, the Shrimp was great, the Steak only ok (a bit too bland).  The meat is followed by MORE food...bamboo shoots and noodles.  There is no way you're finishing the entrees by yourself, so get a doggie bag.

We love this place, but so much depends on the actor/chef you get though.  For example the table next to us had a real showman...but ended up spilling a guest's drink on him.  I guess thats the price of admission, right?  Overall, we love this place and go back over and over again.  Highly recommended and a decent value for all the food you get.  Watch out for the sharing charge and you'll have a good time.
