This is a long overdue review that I *owe* Janet.
Everything in its own time, I truly believe in it. I met Janet (by accident) when I needed some guidance in my life. All the other reviewers are pretty much right on. Janet is very talented. No future readings, which I like. She reads what is going on now, and she knows what happened in the past. Most important of all, she works with you on how to handle any obstacles, problems, issues and the like that you currently have.
She communicates with your angel. Yep. Everyone has an angel or more, whether you like it or not. If you need her to read someone in your life, all she needs is their full name. And when she starts reading, even the non-believers would have their jaws dropped. Trust.
Her studio is really cozy and warm and welcoming. Her cats are adorable, and I heard she has a doggie now, too, which I would love to meet.
I definitely am planning to see her again. Everything in its own time. -

She is the Real Deal folks. I am a die hard Astrology believer as it pertains to my relationships, personality, etc. But I do not promote healers, sites, sources, etc. I think are BS. Janet is awesome! I found her on Yelp ironically, not thinking this is the best source for such a reference, but after reading her reviews, I couldn't resist!!
I was hesitant about the phone session, but when she explained she reads Angels and doesn't need to "see" me, I felt re-assured. I was incredibly nervous for my reading, but not the least bit skeptical...I think if you are, even prior, it may not be the right fit. Of course, my Type A scheduled a 90 min and was anxious to deconstruct the chaos that was my life.
She made me laugh, she made me cry, I had the chills and I am a believer! She doesn't predict the future...WHO CAN?! I love how she is upfront about her abilities, and her almost psychological approach to guiding you the right way. She doesn't say you'll have 5 kids and live until you're 87. She reads current issues and helps you through them.
A MAJOR stand out was her personal read on people in your life. First and last name and she nails it. I was in awe. I felt the need to write this bc I am in major need of another reading with the awesomeness that is Janet.

I cannot say enough great things about Janet Wright. I've seen her three times in total and have referred her to a several friends and family members. Janet is such a lively, upbeat, and funny person...and also has a great laugh! She can take most issues you face and help you to see them in a grander, lighter (and sometimes less-dramatic) way. She can also be quite straightforward when dealing with issues, which is refreshing.
First and foremost though, Janet is a responsible psychic, which is really important. *There are many psychics out there with whom you can't be sure about what you're getting or what exactly they're going to tell you, and I assure you, that won't be the case here.* I trust what Janet tells me. Janet is careful and sensible with the information she gives you during readings, which is not to say that she won't tell you things that you need to work on. Janet WILL NOT read you future. Janet focuses on the present and the issues you need to work through in the here and now. There's no tarot cards, no crystal balls. Janet is an energy reader, and simply closes her eyes to read about you.
Janet has helped me to enjoy my life more. I feel clarity, more grounded in the now, and stronger in my skin and on this Earth. And let's be honest, who doesn't need that? -

Janets great! I came in and tried to be quiet and non bubbly like I usually am. She still read me correctly. She knew about things that were bothering me without me having to bring them up. What's more important is that she gave me ways to fix the things that were bothering me.
She's definitely an energy healer. She's a great energy herself and made me feel comfortable. I can feel the difference that her words and guidance made. I feel more in tune with my spirit and plan on seeing her again when the season's change.
She's definitely as good as it gets. -

If you are seeking an intuitive clairvoyant healer who truly wants to help you on your path to self-development and whatever that may mean to you - you've found her! Janet is very giving, accurate, tells you how it is, and opens your eyes to the possibilities of your life. She helps you to see how you can achieve better self-balance, she works with you to open up your blocks, she reads your aura and to the health of your chakras, and really provides you with tools to help you to reunite with your highest self.
I am so blessed and grateful to have met Janet by a stroke of fate! Her home office is beautiful and peaceful, she has loving pets to accompany her readings, she is hospitable from the moment you enter (and her chairs are uber-cozy!). Janet makes you feel very comfortable, and she comes from a place of total non-judgment. Janet begins your session by reading your energy, and speaks of this, and then lets you direct the reading. She is really flexible and seems to really cater her services to each individual client. A huge perk is that she offers to record your session, which is a REALLY helpful tool for self-development, because you will always have that to look back on and learn from.
I have learned a great deal about myself from Janet. She has pointed out blocks and walls that I've had, she has given me tools to removing said blocks and walls, she has helped guide me on my path, and has helped show me what my angels (guides, yourself, divine self, whatever you believe in) want me to know. For me, her greatest service regards her ability to help me on my desired path to spiritual development and self-discovery. She is a skilled energy healer, and a sincere one at that. I was doing research in order to find a psychic and I ran into Janet Wright here on Yelp. I was delighted to find her here as I met here nearly 18 years ago. I knew she was into energy work but didn't know she was still living in Chicago. I had a feeling in my gut that I would benefit by having a reading with her. And I must say that I was right about that gut feeling.
I got a reading from Janet Wright on April 9th. I really loved it. She was spot on with a lot of things I wanted to have looked at. I got a lot of clarity on the concerns I wanted to go over with her.
Janet does readings by phone or you can go to her home. I preferred to go see her in person. She warned me first that she has cats and a dog but that made me want to go to her place even more as I love animals. Barney the beagle was such as sweetheart. He gave me a warm welcome. :)
I like Janet's style. In addition to being spot on about so much of the energy that I've been handling, she's about helping you reach your own self empowerment.
I forgot to mention that Janet offered to record the session which I accepted. This was nice because I came prepared with a notepad and pen to take notes. It was nice to be more present during the reading and not have to worry about jotting down notes. After the session she burned a CD for me and off I went.
It was insightful, validating and healing. I'm very glad I went to see her.

Janet is the real deal.
I've been going to see Janet pretty regularly for about 4 years now and she has had a very positive impact on my life.
Janet's a normal, down to Earth person who is amazingly gifted at reading energy. She can help you connect with your higher self, talk with your angels / spirit guides, look at past lives, can help you move blocks and see issues very clearly, etc... All in a very clean way. She will NOT read your future though - with good reason, as that's risky business.
I highly recommend her! -

I am really impressed with Janet's intuitive abilities. Working with her I've learned more about how to manage my energy, including how to identify and eradicate some energy drainers I have in my daily life.
Also, she is a really nice person and easy to talk to. I never leave an appointment with her without having learned something new. -

I've been working with Janet for about 6 years now, pretty regularly. My life is WAY more fun. I am more productive and have a lot less guilt. I feel much more in touch with my own intuitions and more able to steer my life confidently, as well as step back and let situations unfold without needing to control them. All my "stuff" (you know what I mean!) is a lot cleaner now. I'd recommend Janet to anyone. Lots more efficient than therapy... LOL.

Yes, this is as good as it gets. I was very impressed with Janet both before and during our phone session. She is very honest, what you see and read on her web site is what you get. And she is open to questions. I reached out to her while I was pondering on different career moves and my reading was very insightful. She connects to your energy, your guides, your higher self and angels, also brings insight from past lifes. she makes it really clear that she doesn't do future telling. she gently helped me see where the bottlenecks or areas of focus are. she was very warm and made me feel super comfortable which happens really rare to me. i felt a very loving and kind energy through her. the reading was right on the spot and generous. thank you again.

I had a very interesting and enjoyable first reading with Janet over the phone. She was very patient and understanding about my having to reschedule at the last minute. The reading was very intuitive and full of good practical suggestions for the issues I've been facing. Janet was very warm and compassionate, and completely nonjudgmental.
