For spearfishing, there are three places in San Diego to get gear.  J&J is the best.  They recently underwent some changes, and the old manager/owner(?) Mark is gone.  The new person there is Damien, and he's a cool, knowledgable guy.
        The store itself has a decent selection of things (again, the best in SD), but hopefully it will be getting better as time progresses.  Apparently there were a bunch of issues to take care of with the old owner's accounts, and they are getting ironed out.  J&J carries mostly Riffe and Omer stuff from what I've noticed.  The prices are fair, and Damien seems to be doing his best to hook people up.
