My husband and I love this restaurant. I again ordered my favorite meal: chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. I would come back again and again.

The atmosphere was nice. The food was horrible.
The service was okay. Quick, but then agian, we were like the ones there..
The Chilliquis were super poor, like there was no flavor, and the chips were beyond stale. My jaw was hurting from chewing.
I understand we live in San Diego, but the prices were overpriced for how basic the flavorless they were. Ex: $7 for a side of guac. And nearly $6 for a small cup of jamica.

Really Good & Authentic - Haven't been here in years, was so excited to come fulfill my cravings back home. Too bad it's storming this weekend, not sure if that's why only the main dining area was open? But, our food was great and we left super stuffed!

I grew up coming to this restaurant and I'm so so happy someone brought this place back to life. Food was great my carne asada omelette was packed with asada and was just delicious. My son had pancakes and just as huge as I remember them and very tasty. The chorizo and eggs big was also very good and all plates were very well portioned. Service was good waitresses were very attentive to our needs checked in with us often to see if we needed anything. Place itself has been completely remodeled very nice modern day look to it. What I loved that the owner did was the cover of the menu has the man on the horse well that exact painting used to be on the wall inside the dining area. The fact that they found a way to incorporate it to there new look was amazing.

Peor servicio. Fui con mi hija cuando estaba abierto durante el día, y no había mesera o nadie para recibirnos. No clientes ni empleados. Busque y grite y había dos hombres en la Cosina y ninguno salió ni respondió. Pues no fuimos a otro lugar.

Worst service. Came here with my daughter during the day when it was open and there was no one to receive us. No customers or employees. I called out to see if anyone was there and no one replied. There were two men in the kitchen though. Since we were ignored, we left.

This cute little restaurant nestled inside an old house. Came in for lunch and there was only one other table. Took a few to get us seated. As soon as we sat down a girl came out and started cleaning the floor with some of the strongest cleaning solution ever. It was sooo stanky. The food was really good but the overpower of the cleaning solution put a slight damper on our dining experience. Everything was really really good!

Fly on my meatball and bean and cheese with no cheese and burrito came completely disassembled.

I've been eating here regularly since I was a young kid and it WAS my favorite restaurant. I made sure that when covid closed them down I would order take out several times a week. Since they reopened after covid the prices went way up and the size of the food went way down. I don't mind paying for a quality product but not for the excuse for food they are currently selling. I will not be giving them anymore of my money and that is sad. Thanks for ruining my favorite restaurant. ***********************

The best Chile relenos hands down!
We have been coming here for years! Even my uncles favorite place was from Orange County. He said I am taking you to the best little Mexican restaurant ever. I was not surprised he picked our ole time favorite. They fixed up the place and boy was it busy on Easter!

In my entire 60 years on this planet this was absolutely the worst meal I ever ate. I ordered Carnitas plate and when the meal was served two of the four sides of cubed meat was black. My knife couldn't cut the hard meat. I picked up 3 pieces with my fingers and gnawed at the overcooked meat. It was terrible. I had to fill up on the beans and rice and chips and salsa. If I wasn't with a large group of friends I would have put my fork down immediately and walked out of the restaurant not paying a dime.
Do not eat at this restaurant!
