In the 90s I used to go to Jalino's for lunch from Boulder High across the street. Perhaps it was the crowd of starved teenagers that spawned the overpriced, bland pizza and garlic bread that I ate way back when.
Overpriced for slices and full pies both, I suspect that the only reason they continue to make it is their proximity to a High School. I hold out the possibility that their other offerings are more delicious for the money.
I award them an extra star for potential, since they lost my business so very long ago.

We've lived in Boulder for years and this is just about our favorite pizza place. Though not cheap, I think you really get more actual ingredients for the money with Jalino's. Their sandwiches, and lasagne, and calzones, and cheese garlic bread are quite good too. By going to their website, you can always find monthly specials and a nice variety of coupons to print out and use one of when you order a delivery pizza or go there to pick up something. Their toppings are creative and different than the other pizza places in Boulder. They stay open pretty late which is helpful because often the need for pizza becomes apparent after 10pm. They have very good and fresh feta and haystack mountain goat cheese here too!

I'm going out on a limb and saying this is the best pizza in Boulder. It really is. Not to mention you'll get your pie fast, hot, and crispy. If you haven't checked out the little (very little...and hot...get it to go) pizza joint, do it now. Go ahead...I'll wait for you right here.

They make a mean calzone BUT don't EVEN try it if you are on a dy-it...because you will regret it and definitely have to purge : ) And if you just eat a salad while your company eats pizza, it will be equally painful. Personally, I prefer simply smelling the scent of the pizza (s) as I cruize by on my bike on my way to campus.
There is not a lot of seating, so if you are fat, don't even bother coming--there is not space. Dining area can probably seat 6 or 7 people, maximum. Oh, and there is a plethora of toppings...this is great!
Find it by the azure awning.
If it wasn't so out of the way for me, I'd eat here more. Great pizza but it's not New York style so if you are looking for thin-crust go elsewhere. Also a bit pricey for a slice. Still, the sauce is good and a little spicy and they pile on the cheese.
