Wayback Burgers

Grilled hamburger with grilled onions, lettuce and tomato was really good.
Only complaint: not enough onions.

No other customers when we came in.
Restaurant looks and smells clean.

Came here after the lights at the zoo event. We arrived a little before closing and the manager and team working were not only understanding but enthusiastic about serving us. When I found out they were closing shortly I said that if we couldn't dine in we would have no problem going somewhere else and they insisted we stay. The manager was then also very helpful with menu selections and taking our large order (3 adults, 5 kids). I wish I had gotten his name so I could properly praise his professionalism with us.

I ordered "The Big Way" which is basically their version of a Big Mac without the middle piece of bread. It came with two patties, American cheese, onions, pickles, lettuce, and thousand island dressing. The burgers here are hard pressed in the "smashburger" style. I found the burger to be quite good. I'm not sure that I found the burger to be worth the price though. These prices were similar to a Shake Shack type stop (which I do find to be a better burger) and the way you ordered was also interesting. The burger was $8 and change, but then to add fries and a drink to make it a combo was an additional $5. It isn't criminal to charge $13 for this amount of food, but comparing it with other combos that fall in that range, I am not sure it is competitive.

The fries were pretty good, and they were very fresh. Directly from the fryer to our table, they were too hot to even eat at first, which is a good thing. Lightly seasoned and crisp, I enjoyed them.

I would come back here or try another of their locations (I didn't realize how large of a chain this is) but as of right now it's definitely outside of my top 3 smashed burger style chain spots. With that said though, Jake's Wayback Burger - Didn't Suck!

Little flavor and burnt burgers. That's about all I can say about it honestly that's my experience.

I love their cheese fries. That being said, they messed up my order two times. However, once I called and spoke to Tati she was very profesional and understanding. Not only did I get a full refund for my fries but she also made me a fresh order. I appreciate it. Thank you!!!

I've been here a few times being that it's not too far from my residence Services OK the food is OK and that being said just being OK isn't good enough for me but if you want a burger and fries you give it a try

Finally tried this place for dinner. The burger was excellent. Excellent tasting burger. Smothered in cheese. Definitely better than a run-of-the-mill burger. The only downfall is that I could have eaten two burgers. French fries were OK. Just needed a little more salt. In my opinion. But I do put salt on everything. We ordered through the Yelp app. Food was ready upon arrival.

Bad experience. Took one hour to get our food - 2 burgers, 2 shakes and an order of fries. Quality of burgers and fries was about equal to Wendy's. Shakes are good. Won't go back.

Decent enough hamburgers, but not as good as can be. Service is usually pretty fast. Order at the counter and they bring it out. Food is usually fresh and hot, but I think lacks a bit of that flavor that makes other fast casual burger spots so good.

The french fries are not that great. They aren't bad, but unlike places like Five Guys, these are frozen and not fresh. Expect better fries with a high end burger.

Other sides, including the onion rings are pretty good.

I can get over waiting over 20 mins for a burger and a hotdog...but what I can't get over is the kid working the cash register had a huge hole in his shoe and was not wearing socks. Every time he went to fill up someone's drink or give them their order his big toe was hanging out. I have worked in the food industry for years and know this should never happen. He also had long hair not tied back or anything. Definitely grossed us out and will probably not come back to this location.

Was just there yesterday, props to the grill guy. Those Burgers were ON TARGET! BULLSEYE! If you ever had a burger from White Mana in Hackensack NJ, that's how on target they were. True Professional on that grill! Thanks Dude.
