So I went with my boyfriend to Jaipur today (Sunday) for their lunch buffet.  All I can say is 'WOW!'  We got there around 12:30pm and there was a wait with two other couples before us (so get there early).  That was the only part that sucked, but I'm glad we waited it out.  We went into the cozy dining area and immediately headed for the buffet table.  The food is soooo good and so filling!  Seriously, I mean I'm writing this at 11pm and I'm still full...I know, crazy.  The service there was very attentive...our water was refilled constantly and our plates cleared away quickly.  I was simply looking around admiring the decor when I would catch the staff quickly looking at me to see if I needed something.  Very impressive, Jaipur.

I tried the lunchtime buffet and the food was absolutely delicious.  TO think that for just around 10$ you can sample some of the best Indian dishes in the Northern Virginia area.  I like how the buffet changes daily so really you sample a lot more each time you go.  The bread was very soft, chewy, and delicious.  It's also good for parties who have some vegetarians since there are some non meat dishes.

The parking situation was a little iffy because it shares with other facilities above and some apartments close by..

The decor is very pretty and since some of the dishes can be spicy, the water service was very quick.  The waiters were actually pretty friendly and even asked about my friend's "ipod that was so tiny you can actually swallow it."  Fun times!

Pros: Great Buffet (stuffed myself silly), Great Decor, Friendly staff, great price.

Cons: Location is kinda.... random and off the beaten path.

Bottom Line: Went to the weekday lunch buffet, was just around $10.  It was tasty, great selection... man probably one of the best price for quality ratio (for Indian food) i've found in the states.  the only place that i've found better was actually in New Delhi.

Day 3 of eating training.  I know now that I'm way past my prime, but we'll see how I fare this weekend.  Anyway, I remember reading a 5 star review from a guy who was banned from Yelp not too long ago and I figured, why not?  Reasonably priced lunch buffet?  Check.

The buffet here had the standard format.  Salad section, 3 or 4 vegetarian options, 3 or 4 meat options, and a dessert section.  The Murgh Makhni (chicken in tomato sauce and cream) was a little sweet but overall, was still pretty good.  They had my favorite vegetable dishes, saag (spinach) and mutter paneer (peas and cheese).  The dessert was a rice pudding and fresh watermelon.  Everything was good.  They gave each table their own basket of naan, always a nice touch.

The service was pretty good.  They were on the ball with water refills.  The main difference between here and Minerva is that this is slightly more upscale whereas Minerva looks more like a cafeteria.  I rolled in wearing t-shirt and shorts, just because that's how I roll.  Most others were in IT wear.  Minerva has more options but that just leaves more opportunity for poorly done dishes.

Now I realize this is Fairfax and that there are a lot of IT workers, but seriously, do people really leave work only to keep talking about work at lunch?  Is this what people do, talk shop all day long?  Work related jokes, work related stories.  Quick way to ruin a dining environment.

Tried the lunch buffet. There wasn't too much selection (it was a weekday and not very busy) but everything they had was good! Service was excellent. Can't be beat at $10 a person. Plus they have pink walls! I'll be back to this charming spot.

Wow. I first ate dinner there with my wife, and it was amazing. The food by default has an American-friendly level of spiciness, but you can ask them to spice it up more if you want. The flavors are amazing. I've been to India a couple times and to me this is better than most of the food I've had there, though I would say it's pretty authentic (aside from toned-down spiciness). The Chicken Tikka Masala is out of this world.

As good as the dinner was, I would recommend going here for lunch. Why? The buffet is less than $15 each, and the food is just as good as the dinner. Really. I've never had such a high quality buffet of any cuisine. They have many stand-out dishes (which they regularly change out) and a couple dessert selections. I've never been a big fan of Indian desserts, but it's nice to have something a little sweeter after the food.

Despite the odd, somewhat hard-to-spot location, the restaurant is a bit more upscale than most Indian restaurants in the US - I probably wouldn't go in shorts and a T-shirt, though nice jeans and a decent shirt seems adequate to me for lunch buffet. If going for dinner I'd wear khakis.

One warning - they close between lunch and dinner, so don't show up at 3pm expecting food...

It's been a long time since I've been here, but from what I remember, the food was good. Spicy. Made my stomach hurt a little in the morning but I think it was because I drank after I ate... spicy food + drinking = death! (hahaha).

I tried this place for the lunch buffet today and the food was very good.

I will warn anyone who likes their Indian food on the lighter side to avoid this restaurant.  Most of the meat and vegetarian choices are very rich with what tastes like heavy cream.  Delicious and filling, but very high in calories.

Deelish, but wouldn't make it a regular choice or I'd be as big as a house!

4.25 stars.  Let's just start with a simple fact.  The cuisine at Jaipur is outstanding.  I have a bias towards South Indian cuisine, and I *still* found Jaipur to be the most outstanding Indian restaurant I have tried in the entire DMV.  My mom pointed out how if I married an Indian girl, I would be able to get food like this all the time.  I'd rather just steal the cook's recipes.

Nearly everyone on Yelp has paid homage to the Jaipur buffet.  I'm going to focus more on the entrees (specifically, the seafood options).  But first, I should point out that each dinner comes equipped with complimentary pappadum (fried lentil wafers) and a date chutney sauce (surprisingly good).  We decided to order a bread basket with our dinners; you should do likewise.  The dishes at Jaipur tend to leave an exorbinant amount of luscious curry, and you will not want to push it off as refuse.  Instead, you should sop up each drop with an array of different Indian breads.

We ordered the following entrees: Shrimp Rai Masala, Kadhai Jhinga, Macchi Madras, and Maharaja Shrimp Masala.  The first dish was a fiery curry that lashed with the anger of Kali upon individuals ill-prepared for its menacing heat.  Naturally, we loved it.  The Kadhai Jhinga was more reserved from a Scoville perspective and instead balanced cilantro and tomato in a satisfying dark brown curry.  My favorite was the Macchi Madras.  This light, refreshing turmeric and mint heavy coconut and onion curry was studded with generous portions of fried catfish.  It was a great neutralizer for the other curries and it doubles as the most flavorful dish at the table.  Quite simply, it was on the best Indian dishes I have ever eaten.  Finally, the Maharaja shrimp masala was a vegetarian's delight if you don't mind one or two pieces of shrimp in your meal.  The accompanying curry was a beautiful, spicy mix accented with nutmeg and mint.

My only real issues with Jaipur deal with the atmosphere and cleanliness of the facilities.  While Jaipur certainly attempted to create a more upscale interior than a typical Indian restaurant, it fails with noticeable holes (where it looks like screws should be placed) and scratches to the walls.  A little more attention to the details of the restaurant would make for a more lavish experience.  It should also be noted that the bathroom was not very clean.  As a result, it limits the flexibility I have in recommending this place for all occasions.  It is probably best if you want to have outstanding Indian food and you are sure that you won't have to use the facilities.

Jaipur isn't necessarily a diamond in the rough; the restaurant is already oustanding from a culinary standpoint.  However, with a little more attention to the non-culinary aspects of the experience, Jaipur could easily ascend to a 5 star experience.

The best Indian food in NoVa, bar none.
Disclaimer - I've only ever eaten their buffet, so I can't judge their menu fare.
They also have a really nice ambience, and very attentive waitstaff.

I love Indian food, and I'll eat it anywhere, any time. I don't even care if it's not great. :-)  But when I eat at Jaipur, my tummy is happier than anywhere else I know of.

I ate here a little while back with my vegetarian gf who was happy to see that this place offered VEGETARIAN tandori.  For those of you who don't know, its not that common to see it at an Indian restaurant.  At least in our experience.

The decor was pretty awesome, had a very quasi-home feeling to it, that is if you have ever been in the home of someone from Pakistan or India. I ordered the Rarah Maas (lamb) as well as a several half vegetarian dishes.

The food was excellent, the service was excellent.  Basically it was all excellent.  I am not often in the area, but would be back for more.

My wife and I decided to stop by Jaipur for dinner after she picked me up from the Vienna Metro.  Interesting décor and pleasant staff.  They were very helpful and answered all my wife's questions.

We skipped the appetizers and ordered our main courses: lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala and nan.  Overall it was a great meal and we'll definitely be coming back.  We plan on trying their Saturday lunch buffet in the hear future.  Jaipur also has coupons distributed in local magazines for up to $12 off your dinner.

I could've sworn I already posted a review for Jaipur.

Anyway, here it goes...the 1 star is for the ambiance. The windows were covered and it felt like I wasn't in NoVa. That's about the only thing I liked about Jaipur.

I've only been here once and it was with a coupon, thank goodness. My fiance and I were really in an Indian food kick when we visited. We were really excited about this place since it has gotten such great reviews! But after having eaten at several other Indian restaurants, we were very disappointed with Jaipur.

I ordered Butter Chicken and he Chicken Korma. I can't recall much about the Korma since it was his dish and I had just a bite but I definitely hated the Butter Chicken. It was so sweet, basically tasting like Honey BBQ chicken. I couldn't stand to eat it. We didn't even take it home, even though it was actually pricier than the other Indian restaurants we've been to. And if I remember correctly, I don't think the entree came with a choice or rice or naan. It was separate! We also ordered garlic naan and that was a joke. It wasn't even made with fresh garlic. I think they just used garlic powder.

I would not go back here even with another Buy 1, Get 2nd Entree free coupon. Just not worth the time or calories. I felt like their dishes were very "Americanized". Maybe for some who aren't used to "cultured" cuisine, they think Jaipur is real Indian food?

My boyfriend's mom raved about this place so he and I went there for our anniversary date. The ambience is fantastic for a date night. We shared two entrees: the Murgh Nilgiri and the Navrattan Korma. The murgh nilgiri had really amazing sauce, but I found the chicken to be a little too chewy/stringy for my taste. The navrattan korma was good. We agreed that while on the whole the food didn't stand out compared to a lot of Indian places, the naan was absolutely to-die-for.

Nice Decor, Poor Service.  Tasteless food.

Food:  Paneer was very sweet and when we asked the Manager to have it spicy, they took it back and gave paneer with chilli powder on it.  The manager insisted thats how food is made in India. Not very professional.  Bad Service... Also, when they brought the replacement dishes, they reduced the quantity and brought back the same naans - reheated.   There are many good Indian restaurants in the area, I would avoid going to Jaipur Restaurant.

Great food, great service, great atmosphere.

I don't remember the name of what I ordered, but it was the 2nd entree underneath the "Lamb Dishes". Lamb with minced lamb.. oh my, so good.

Very nice people, offered to take pictures of my girlfriends and I (we were SO being tourists)

Definitely will come back for more.

We dined there last week and it was as good as the Yelpers say.  Since so many have written good things about Jaipur, I will just add a couple of suggestions for folks who have never been there.

We ordered Gosht Malabari (very tender pieces of lean lamb cooked in a coconut-based sauce) and Peshawar Biryani.  Briyani is basically saffron rice with meat or vegetables added.  Both were outstanding.

If you are not familiar with Indian cooking, go to Jaipur with a friend and order one of their biryanis.  It will give you a taste of the flavors but will be mild enough for most any palate.  Also order one of the meat or vegetarian entrees.  Ask the server for suggestions depending on your tolerance for hot.  You don't need to get hot spicy to get good spicy.   The Gosht Malabari was mild but very flavorful.

The meal will start with complimentary pappadum (which will be spicy warm) so be sure to use the dipping sauce.  Ask the server which sauce of the two sauces served with it is mild.  Then prepare for an outstanding meal.

A couple of friends and I had lunch at Jaipur recently. It's been a while since I've gone to Jaipur so we took previous Yelpers' advice and arrived early for optimal parking and no lines at the buffet. The host permitted us to have a table without our entire party and a waiter stopped by soon to inquire if we wanted to place drink orders. We didn't feel rushed and the waiters were good about refilling water, clearing our used plates and checking if we wanted our check but we were enjoying the pink ambiance.

Lunch was delish and I stuffed myself. I liked that our own personal basket of fluffy naan magically appeared. The only disappointment was that we chose to dine on a day when they weren't serving rice pudding. I love me some rice pudding! I understand that some customers are sensitive to spices, but I would've appreciated if there was one spicy dish with Warning for the spice averse. Doesn't even have to be average American spicy! Just a bit. Mmm. When I've gone for dinner, I have been happy with the spicy level of my entree.

Our friend who had Indian food for the first commented that she wasn't used to the strong taste but that she planned on bringing her parents to the restaurant.

I ate here recently for dinner, but I can't remember the name of the beef dish I ordered.  Folks were nice, food was good, atmosphere was warm and decorative.  Boy that's some good bread.  I mean "naan."

But make sure you order the naan in addition to your entree, since the entrees are non-naan.*

*fun to say out loud.

I heard a lot of Hype about this restaurant and so drove an hour on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy the Buffet. The decor was ok , a lot of pink all around with some old style furniture, now some people may like it and some may not and I am one of the latter.
Now to the important part the food choice for buffet was ok , nothing unique. Food tasted bland nothing stood out and the goat curry was bad, the service was horrible. They kept serving room temperature water and when I requested  for some cold water the waiter did bring in cold water but served it arrogantly splashing water on me , my wife and the table.
To top it off that same waiter insisted on a 15 % Tip, says that its mandatory and written on the bill. I would not visit this one again .... The one star i gave was for ordinary Food and the Shrimp Curry or Zinga fry.

At some point in time, if you are a connoisseur of Indian cuisine, you will find your way to Jaipur.  This review focuses on their weekday buffet, but I've also been here in the evening (no buffet) and had an excellent dining experience.

From the time you walk in, it is evident that the owners put some thought into the atmosphere.  There is a nice Indian style swing which kids (and adults) love to sit on while waiting and there are also very ornate dolls near the restrooms.  The pink walls are a nice touch and a homage to Jaipur the "Pink City" (http://en.wikipedia.or...).

A warm basket of naan bread is quickly delivered upon being seated and then it's off to peruse the buffet.  The buffet is not as extensive as some other Indian restaurants, like Minerva, but I think the food quality is vastly better.  The daily chickpea salad is awesome and so are the pickled spicy vegetables.  And I really like the way the buffet is laid out.  The veggie options are presented first and then it segues into the meat offerings.  There is usually an even proportion of four veggie to meat options to make everyone happy.  And the best part is that many of the entrees change on a seasonal basis.  Today's veggie option was a delicious mixture of squash, coconut milk, and eggplant.

When eating here, I am reminded of Jeff W's review of Grace Garden where he mentions that authenticity regarding cultural cuisines is "overrated".  I wholeheartedly agree with him in this case since I'm not well versed in the nuances of Southern vs. Northern Indian cooking.  All I know is that food is really tasty.

From the exterior you would never believe that this restaurant located next to a bank and at the bottom of the Circle Towers apartments in Fairfax would be any good.  But Jaipur proudly displays their "Yelp" sticker on their front  window, so that's all the endorsement you should need.

After reading this article in the Washington Post Weekend section (7/25/08), I decided to try this restaurant. Before, the only time I had Indian food was at a tried and true restaurant called Minerva or when the occasional Indian-inspired dish popped up at an otherwise non-Indian restaurant. We ordered the recommended chat-papdi appetizer (steamed potatoes and garbanzo beans over flour chips with a yogurt, mint and tamarind sauce), and were sadly disappointed. It had way too much cilantro and it ran all together like a watery, eggy, mixture. It was too sweet and too spicy at the same time. The service crackers were also too spicy for me and had an odd taste to them, with pockets full of not-so-good flavor and served with two sauces (a diluted syrup and a cilantro paste). Our entree was the Lamb Biryani (since we've had biryani before, this was a good dish to measure by). This was enough food for two people (therefore making the appetizer not essential) with food left over. The lamb was cooked in consistently though. Half of the pieces were moist and delicious, but the other half were spongy, flavorless, and took minutes to chew. The rice itself was the star of the dish. Scooped up with some flaky naan, this rice, each grain itself, had a flavor, not to mention the flavors that were mixed into the rice and with the lamb. I would have preferred the egg to be mixed with the rice as well, and as a result, it remained mostly uneaten.

Jaipur's decor leaves much to be desired (pink walls, too-dim lighting, plates with their name on it, and decorations all over the place), and the service is so-so (helpful on describing dishes and sauces, but took several visits to clear plates and empty baskets). Overall, this is a typical shopping-center-restaurant experience. Maybe their lunch buffet is better, and maybe it's better to come as a group (I know we were seated next to a tipsy, raucous bunch that thought it necessary to place all their calls on speaker phone), but I will not be visiting again.

As a vegetarian, the buffet selection was meager.  However, it is well priced for non-vegetarians.

Ordering off the menu, the Paneer-Makhni Masala (extra spicy) is my favorite dish -- but really, any of the paneer dishes are tasty and filling.  The garlic naan is loaded with garlic (which I like).

It does smell very 'Indian' inside and the smell stays with you, but I guess that's the case with most Indian restaurants.

After months of hearing about Jaipur I finally got an opportunity to check it out.  I was surprised by the extensive decor, and also at how crowded it was!  The menu is excellent and prices were more reasonable than I expected, given the somewhat upscale feel of the place.

The chat-papdi was not as good as others that I've had.  Way too much chutney which caused it to be more soupy and wet than most places.  The main dishes were superb, however.  I ordered the Malai Kofta which was delicious, but not as good as a similar dish that I've had at Supperclub of India.  My dining companion's kebabs were perfectly cooked, and arrived still sizzling on an iron skillet.  A very nice presentation.  The only hiccup in service was that we ordered Khasta Roti but got naan instead.  Not a huge deal.

Overall, excellent food, but not any better than other places I've had.  I'd really like to come back sometime to check out the lunch buffet and see how it compares to Minerva.

Been for about a dozen lunch buffets, Mild spices.

Pink walls carefully decorated for a classy vibe,

Get there before Noon to avoid crowds; they promptly replenish popular dishes, scoop from the bottom of the trays for warmer food.

They usually provide 6-8 main dishes including, Chicken curry, butter sauce, and Tandori, Lamb, Spinach with cheese, Mixed vegetables featuring potatoes and cauliflower,  a several item salad area with samosas and tempura veggies.

Desert area has rice pudding and something else.

Being a single young professional in the area, I eat out all the time, and Indian food is my favorite cuisine. After trying a few Indian restaurants in the area, I have to say that Jaipur Royal is definitely the best place to get Indian food.

The quality of the food is great, the ambiance classy, and everything from the furniture to the plates/utensils says that this isn't another run of the mill restaurant.

There's a lunch buffet with a very good selection of dishes. I get lunch here more than once a week, and it's a unique experience every time. They try different dishes. The dessert is also pretty good, and I can't really say that I have had the same selection more than once in a week. Dinner has a bigger selection, and you get poppadums as soon as you're seated. The servings are generous, as well.

The wait staff is friendly and fast. I would recommend everyone to try this place as soon as possible!

Before Jaipur, I had only tried Indian food once before. I ordered the wrong thing, and never wanted to try Indian food again.

Meeting a bunch of friends at Jaipur for their lunch buffet, I went in a little unsure of the experience.

The basket of naan was okay, tasted almost like a crisp pancake.   I wished I was able to try the garlic naan, because there are rave reviews about it.

Okay, I'm going to be honest with you. I don't know anything about Indian food other than naan.  Thankfully the buffet has little descriptions of the dishes; however, I am not a big fan of reading when I am hungry.  But, in this case, I'll suck it up to make sure I'm picking out the right thing.  I loved the tapioca/rice pudding dessert!  It's a lot of meat on the buffet, so if you're a carnivore like me... you'll like the spread.  Nothing is too adventurous or spicy, so it appeals to a wide audience.

Drawbacks? Enough to give it 2.5 if I could.  The staff is good about keeping the water glasses filled, but seemed eager for us to leave.  That is one reason I did not like coming at the busy lunch hour. Therefore, stick your ground, get comfortable, and eat a lot!  The parking is okay.  The place is off of 29, but I seriously had never noticed it before.  Oh, and I seriously smelled like Indian food for the rest of the day.  That kinda stunk.  (Excuse the pun.)  Possible date place, I don't know.  Unless... curry is a turn-on for you.

Overall, if I ever have an Indian food craving, this is where I'll go.  I don't exactly know if that'll be in the near future, but it's good to have a go-to place.

My husband and I had heard wonderful things about Jaipur and decided to give it a try. We are so glad we did! We visited on a Saturday night, and were welcomed by very friendly staff and beautiful decor. Our table for two was perfect and provided us with the privacy we enjoy when dining alone.

We began with an order of two mango lassis, which are thick yogurt and mango drinks specific to that area of the world. They were very tasty (and filling, I should add). We also ordered an appetizer of fried cottage cheese served with tamarind and mint sauces, excellent choice! For our main meals, my husband had a delcious, spicy lamb dish and I, the chicken with tomato cream sauce. We enjoyed sampling one anothers choices and the rice and naan (bread) that accompanied the meal were also fantastic. We haven't had Indian cuisine this good since we were visiting New York City!

As for the service, it was wonderful as well. Very attentive and in tune with all of our dining needs. They serve as a team, rather than one single server, which provided unending attention. We tipped far over the 20%, because they were just THAT good.

Bottom line: This restaurent, while located in an unusual location, is some of the best Indian you can find in the DC area. Definitely worth a trip! I know we'll be back, and soon! :)

Jaipur Royal Indian Cuisine. Take my word...it is an awesome place. Their Murg Makhani is the best that I have ever tasted. Being a true-blue Delhiite, guess I can talk with some authority here. The whole menu is great and so is the wine collection. I have not tasted a single thing which I didn't like. There are not many places where the buffet menu is as nicely done as their à la carte but JRIC is. Buffet lunches end at 2:30 PM so please time your arrival. I have been disappointed once on the Diwali.

A slightly formal place (I prefer not to wear shorts) and very nicely decorated with Rajasthani theme which takes one back to the city of Jaipur, one of my favorite tourist cities in India. I love it for its colorfulness, food, helpful people and ofcourse forts. Don't miss to visit the Chokhi Dhani resort (http://www.chokhidhani...) if you can.

Not bad. Definitely go for lunch, though.

Jaipur is a pretty solid choice for Indian cuisine out here in Fairfax. The food is always of good quality, nicely presented, and very good.

Truth be told, I'm not terribly adventurous about bouncing all over the menu, so I mostly stick to a few dishes, and I'm always happy with them. I'm a carnivore who's not big into lamb, so I stick with the chicken, usually the Tilhani Tikka (sp?), which is basically boneless Tandoori, or Murgh Tikka, which is also a tandoori-style chicken seasoned with lemon juice, olive oil, and some other spices.

(Please note: I may be completely mixing up those two names, so please check the menu before ordering...I'd say don't base your order purely based on my recommendation, but then who would do that anyway???)

If you're feeling a bit more adventurous, there are a couple of larger sampler platters, the Queen's Feast (veg) and the Emperor's Feast (lamb and chicken). These feasts offer an excellent opportunity to try multiple tastes in small portions. This is also a pretty good value, as for a few dollars more than many of the entrees, you get salad, bread, rice, and dessert.

Service is usually pretty solid also. They do have a lunch buffet here, which other Yelpers have commented on. Ironically, I never come for the buffet, even though I work about half a mile from the restaurant. If I do an Indian buffet, I tend to go to Minerva...which ironically I've never gone to for dinner.

The biggest downside here is parking. As the restaurant is attached to a large apartment complex, spaces are somewhat limited, but not too bad. Just make sure you don't park in resident parking.

We recently had dinner at this restaurant for the first time and I was very pleasantly surprised.  I find the food preparation very similar to Haandi in Bethesda, which I also like -but Jaipur's Murgh Makhani is absolutely one of the best in the area.  We also had grilled salmon, which was cooked to perfection and a series of appetizer dishes, all mostly pleasing.  The potato bits in the samosas were a bit undercooked and too large, and the samosa was a bit tough in general (although it boasted great ingredients, including cashews and raisins).  The rice brought to our table was quite cold.  Other than these two small problems, everything else was really great - I recommend trying multiple appetizers, especially the variation on Bhelpuri (Jaipur puri?) they have.  Baingain Bartha (also given a Jaipur-related name, if I recall) was also excellent.  Its one of the better Indian places in Northern Virginia, with pleasing decor and great food.

Go for the lunch buffet. It's $8 on weekdays and $10 on weekends. I've only been on weekends.

It's northern indian so there may be some unfamiliar dishes. They have kick ass curry puffs and the tandoori is staple. One of the better Indian Buffets in the area.

Solid Indian food that can easily be missed if you don't look at the office building it's located in.  The samosas were baseball-sized triangles with plenty of curried potato chunks and peas.  My husband though the vindaloo curry was alright in spice though the nuclear/fluorescent red color of the dish disturbed me.  I don't remember the exact name of my dish, but my chicken with tomato curry sauce was tasty with chunks of tender meat.  I was especially impressed with the garlic naan.

Decor was Indian-tastic and on the fancier side and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Echoing Maureen, the price can't be beat for the lunch-time buffet. They have a delicious butter chicken dish that is divine.  Tandori chicken is equally as wonderful.

The buffet includes 4-6 main items, and 4-6 side items including various cold side-dishes (salads, spreads, sauces).

The decor is elegant and spacious.

A must do for cheap eats.

Recommended by Laura Baldurphy, this is an EXCELLENT Indian restaurant!!  Have only been twice and for the lunch buffet.

Jaipur satisfies all the tastes.  Loads of different curries, great appetizers, fruits and vegetables served-up so you can't say no.

The dessert is usually a large caldron filled with something, but it's a really, really tasty something.

Definitely not a place on the beaten trail of tourism in the DC area.  But if you live or work in NoVA, definitely try this place out.  You'll be surprised you lived without it for this long!

Similar to many other Indian buffets, but the decor is really nice and makes you feel classy and worldly at the same time.  I personally thought the food was good, but my Indian friend proclaimed it "mediocre."  Whatever.  I love my tikka masala, and keep the free naan coming.  They have a pretty good selection of both vegetarian/non-vegetarian, and sauces.

The Saturday lunch buffet ended up costing me about $12.
