My favorite thing about this place is their fast. They do these specials that are really cheap, under 5 bucks, and you get a pile of pork fried rice with two sides, and its usually ready in about a minute.
They have two flat screen TVs that are always on and seating by a rather large windows overlooking the intersection. -

When Jade 3 came to town I wasn't too excited. It was the 3rd Chinese place to open in downtown Amesbury and the 2nd in the same year with China Maxim. (China Maxim has since died and become a sad dirty empty space waiting to be made into the next failing pizza place).
Jade 3 also occupied the former location of Jackson's which was the best breakfast in town.
My allegiance for Chinese was always to China Star - the place I grew up with and has been in Amesbury my whole life. I finally started getting Jade 3 from time to time after it started getting some recommendations from friends.
I have gotten take-out from here about half a dozen times and each time the food was ready fast and tasted good.
For some reason, my stomach can't handle their food. I always feel sick about 3 hrs later. At first I didn't draw the connection but I have determined that Me and Jade 3 don't agree. (Take that Jesse Jackson).

I would call Jase 3 solid Chinese food.
Good prices, good flavor, tons of veggies in everything. The pork fried rice is not loaded with onions which is a hit with my boyfriend.
We've only tried take out from here and they did accept credit cards.Listed in: North of the North Shore

Jade is primarily a take-out shop, with some tables set around wide-screen TVs, if you feel like eating and watching a football game. The staff are all very friendly. But really, most people buying from Jade are taking it out.
Try their Wonton soup, which Jade makes with MOUNTAINS of fresh vegetables and pork strips thrown in. A small order with a bowl of rice is a meal in itself. They have a full menu of traditional American Chinese food, all cooked fresh and prompt. Their delivery service is excellent. -

Not BAD chinese but not great. The portion are extrodenarely massive and the prices are good. If you are looking for greasy food in large quantity look no further.
