We wanted authentic Mexican food but nothing was open at 3 AM so we came here.  Their tacos (2 for $1) are the best!  This is our go-to place after a night of drinking so thank god they're open so late.  After years of eating them, I never knew what the filling consisted of.  I recently just found out that it's soy meat!  I guess that's a good thing.  The bacon and cheddar potato wedges are also good.  They're super oily but yummy when you have all that alcohol in your body.  Though the line was super long, the wait went by pretty quickly.

Yea to 20 tacos and oily food at 3 AM!!!

Typical  Jack-O Food.  Beyond Unacceptable service.

I go here for 3 items only, No joke

The Original Chicken Fajita Pita
Egg Rolls]
Breakfast Jack, No Cheese

Great fast food items, minimal calories!'

However, the service here blows..  Drive Through? Do not expect to have your order taken for minutes.  No Hold on, one second, be right with you. etc.   You can say Hello all you want.. no response.  The food is fine, but the service makes this place almost avoidable at all costs....unless your extremely hungry, on a budget, and do not feel like cooking.

Food is fine, on fast food Jack-O terms...service is negative infinity !!

I actually thought this jack in the box was pretty good. We came here in between pumpkin patch picking at ardenwood across the street and the haunted corn maize.
Our orders were politely taken, correctly and quickly made.
The bathroom was shockingly clean for a fast food place. Overall I thought this was a good jack in the box.

When we were let down by The Snitz, Del Taco, and Taco Bell on a late Saturday night this was the only place that saved us.  Yes, there was a long line, but it was actually kind of festive to be amongst a large group of late night diners.  The police were even rolling through the drive thru to get some grub.  The one on Mowry, near Thornton is also open late but after experiencing defeat a few times we needed to go someplace close that was a sure thing.

This Jack SUCKS. I've been here about 4-5 times this year and every time something in our order was wrong, the drive through line is always long (especially late night), and the people who work there seem really upset with life. Here's a tip - FIND ANOTHER JOB.

The only reason why I came here the last 2 times was because I missed the Jack in Menlo Park coming home from Burlingame after a night out. Next time, I'll be going a little out of my way to the Jack on Mowry near Lion. MUCH BETTER.

Haha, this is the closest Jack in the Box to my house and ever since I graduated from high school, I have tried to eat here as sparingly as possible. However, I was brought back here by its convenient location twice: once to eat before an afternoon of LASER TAG with my colleagues before staying at the W Hotel in Newark; and twice last night after a sober Sideways and lap top party at my house. I had just eaten out at a really good restaurant called Momo's for Dine About Town earlier that night so I was pretty stuffed. However, my friend Felicia hot mama comes over and asks us to get food with her. By convenience, since it is already midnight, we chose something quick and close by. I was up for it but seriously it was just a crappy experience. First with the long line of cars we were a bit perturbed. By the time we ordered, I was more or less excited to get a #8 Chicken Pieces with a FREE upgrade to curly fries. So, at the Drive-Thru they have this new credit card technology where you swipe your card twice. The guy was moving really quickly so we just swiped it. He didn't confirm payment  so after a few seconds we swiped it again, and he finally said OK. I yell over from the passenger side, "Did I get charged twice??" He said, "Yes." I was like, "WHAT?! Can I get a receipt?" He was flustered as if he didn't know how to fulfill my request. He then gave it to me, and I asked for more buttermilk, even though I knew I already had three in the bag. He said, " There is some in the bag already." I knew there was some in the bag, but I wanted at least one more. Anyway, we were all laughing in the car and he was probably pissed we held up his line. Anyway, when I got home, I did not have enough buttermilk sauce. And what happens when I don't have enough is that I don't eat what is left over if I can't dip it. I wasted 1/4 of that free upgrade of curly fries. I guess that was a really long-winded story that was probably only funny to me and my friends, but it reminded me how quickly and conveniently you can unknowingly turn a food run into an unsatisfying deep-fried quasi-incident. Wow, JITB actually is boring now, my, how much I have grown older. (sigh). -Matt
