This is a stellar park for kids, with a huge grassy area, and an irresistible hill.  The favorite attraction is the water feature, so bring a swimsuit and towel for each kid.  There are four swings, one of which is like a hanging lounge chair for kids.  There are several play structures, some steep slides, and fabulously, most of the play areas are enclosed so it is less likely for little ones to find their way into the street,

On Mondays, there are *two* Las Madres groups that meet here, so stay away unless you want to experience craziness incarnate.

There is a decent amount of street parking.

This park is in a GREAT residential location, has a COOL water feature for the kids to run through time and time again, open grass area in the shade and sun, big sand box and two playgrounds: toddlers and preschoolers/elementary school.

I would definitely come again!

Morning (9am-1pm) is great for the younger children and the afternoon for the older children.

This park is great for the summertime adventures that us parents need. The water feature is the main attraction here, so bring the bathing suit, towel, water shoes, and sunscreen. Come early to beat the crowds. There is only street parking available, and I have never had any problem finding a place to park. There is a large sand feature as well, so pack a bucket and shovel, and let the kids go wild!

This is a great park.  As mentioned, it has plenty for the kids to do.  The water feature kept my daughter busy the whole time we were there.  It's great for those hot days...in fact, I was inspired to play in the water feature with her!  We will go there again.

Such a great park!!! I know I'm going to hose myself by saying that, because then more people will come and it will be a more crowded, slightly less great park, but my desire to yelp quite simply outweighs my common sense.  So here's the scoop: This is a smallish park in the middle of a super-cute Campbell neighborhood (and no, it turns out that is not an oxymoron). It's got the standard climbing structures, and some of the funkiest swings I've ever seen, but the star of the show here is the water feature. It's the kind that squirts water out of the ground, and if you have kids, you know that this makes them lose their minds with joy. Plus, it has a short "tunnel" made of of rings that also shoot water, and if you're a small kid, this is your nirvana. If you are a parent of a small kid, it means a great opportunity to hang out with your friends or spouse and chat for HOURS virtually uninterrupted, because your child is not going to want to leave. Ever. I personally had to drag my son away kicking and screaming after we had been there for a full three hours. Bring a picnic and make yourself comfortable. There are plenty of nice benches in the shade, plus lots of informal seating around the edges of the tree planters.  And if you want to miss the crowds, go at 2 p.m. The place clears out like a fire drill at that time because most kids are off to Nappytown, but if your kid is of the non-napping variety, you'll have the whole park all to yourself.
