Review from Dimitrios D.

I got a beef chimichanga, and it was greasy and heavy. Dark, ground beef with tons of cheese melted on top and in it. It was mediocre at best, to be honest.
And atmosphere is hectic and it was crowded when I ate there.
And the room I sat in was also dizzying; the walls were meant to appear as if they were crooked, so windows (inside the restaurant itself, connecting one room to another) were slanted.
This combo of weird architecture with greasy food kind of led to me feeling weird/sick. -

This place blows. The food is just dry and bland. The appetizer is disgusting, eating a buttered doughy, chewy, bland tortilla isn't my cup of tea. The cost is a little much for the quality of the food.
I recommend Texas Roadhouse
Had the Tex combo and the wife had the pulled pork. -

We ate here once because I hadn't been to Jack Creek in forever, so we tried it out. The place was crowded, but we got a seat fairly quickly. The food was decent, my steak wasn't horribly bad, but still nowhere near what I'm used to. My girlfriends meal was pretty bland as well.
It would have been 2 stars if I didn't get sick the next day. That sucked. -

Not impressed. I'm all for a little corniness, but the decorations in this place are over the top. They could have survived without the terrible murals.
Anyway, the food was mediocre faux-Mexican and overpriced. My dad ordered some kind of combo platter which was wayyyyyy over-salted, to the point of being inedible. My quesadilla was okay, but I could have gotten the same or better at a less expensive place. My sister ordered fajitas which seemed over complicated with four different platters of toppings and extras and only a few tiny shrimp. I'm sad to say I didn't get to try any of their homemade tortillas. Our waiter, however, was really good. -

Sub-par food & drinks. The steaks are not very impressive, the food is more Beth-Mex than authentic Mexican, & the margs could be better. At least the margs aren't too pricey, though sometimes they taste more like Gatorade than a margarita. The tortillas (which are made fresh w/ an over-elaborate tortilla maker) are often under-cooked & doughy, the fajitas are more onion than meat & peppers, & the sides are skimpy & bland.
More hype than anything else. -

I have eaten here many, many times. Always crowded which tells you something. Food is pretty good, not expensive, service good and generally quick. Often we'll eat before the movie (nearby) and they will hustle if you tell them this. I like the fajitas best. Mexican food is better than the steaks, which are just OK. They have a torilla making area that is visible to the patrons. Pretty good spot to eat if you are visiting and staying in one of the nearby airport hotels.

This place stinks! The worst steakhouse ever. Don't waste your money!
