I would go way out of my way (which isn't necessary since it is located a mile from I-70) to eat here. If you love chicken wings, you must try the lemon pepper wings. Don't be shy, order at least a dozen per person, you will be glad you did, and likely will still crave more of them. We have eaten here twice in the last year while driving past Eagle toward Denver. Make an emergency stop!! Last summer the service was pretty slow, but today at 1PM it was run by a delightful family who provided prompt, polite, and efficient service. Bottom Line: it's all about the WINGS, and they are good: crispy, meaty, tangy! Why don't we have one of these in Denver?

My husband and I do regular road trips across the USA and most of the time we have simply bad or average chain food.  I don't write reviews as a rule, because, well, why?

We had hoped to have a nice break on our drive through the Rockies but we didn't want to spend a lot of time so chose what looked like a tasty but quick wings place.  It was neither quick nor tasty.

We ordered wings and a veggie wrap.  The veggie wrap was fried!! (to be fair it said so on the menu but I hadn't noticed so was disappointed since I was looking for a healthy break from road food).  My husband ordered the wings figuring ...good bet..it's what they advertize.

The owner/manager/waiter seemed overwhelmed and managed to upset us by not attending to our order, but instead, doing business with some salesman or repairman who came in.  They went on and on as we sat there hungry with no drinks, no water, and NO food.

After a good while (over 30 minutes) we asked how long before we are served.  He looked surprised and ran to the kitchen area.  About 10 minutes later our food arrived. If we hadn't paid in advance we would have walked out before we got it.

But we thought... okay, at least it will be good because how can you mess up wings and a veggie wrap?  Well, they did!  The wings were soggy and virtually inedible for that reason.  The veggie wrap was soggy with grease and also inedible.

Ugh.  We got in our car and drove off to Denver where we got a decent hamburger at Burger King.
